2 | First Man Invasion I

It's been three years since the birth of the hybrid and both species have set aside their differences and banded together to teach the child their ways as much as possible. And the child just learned everything that they showed and they were amazed by it.

One day as the hybrid kid was playing around with the other giant kids, they stumbled upon a bear the same size of a giant child walking through the woods. As the kids have been doing pranks on everyone, they decided it's time for the youngest to be pranked too. So looking at each other, they slowly retreated from the woods as the hybrid was the one leading them.

As they were at a safe distance away from the bear, one of the children provoked the bear by throwing a heavy stone onto its body. That stone surprised both the hybrid and the bear, and with an angry growl the bear turned towards the path the stone came from and saw a kid with hair all over him protecting him from the winds and cold.

*Roar* Roaring at the kid, the bear started to run towards the kid, and the kid just took off into a different direction in order to lose the bear that's following him.

The Giants children also followed the duo to know what will happen and to save the kid if the bear goes for the kill.

After a couple of minutes of running the kid stopped at a clearing and turned around and looked directly in the eyes of the bear and growled like a wild beast as bone claws came out of his knuckles in his both hands. As the claws reached its full length, the kid spoke for the first time during the chase "You choose the wrong person, bub."

Saying that the kid just jumped towards the bear with his full strength aiming to bury both of his claws on the head of the bear. But, the bear sensing the danger towards its life tried to evade the claws but the kid buried his claws into the bear's neck and right arm.

The bear, feeling the pain on its body whimpered in defeat, seeing that the kid retracted his claws and told the bear "Don't carelessly attack anyone. They can kill you at any given time."

As if understanding the words spoken by the kid, the bear just nodded, seeing that the kid smiled and said "I'll heal you up now." Saying that he took out something from his makeshift pouch and applied it to the wounds on the bear and told "It will heal within a day, so run along now."

Nodding at the kid, the bear went in a different direction it came from and went on its way.

As the bear was out of site the kid just walked away from the spot, and the children that were following him and the bear ran towards the settlement where the giants are staying and informed them about the happening and the children of the forest (Cotf) made song in his name, "Hugh The Wild Giant." (In common tongue)

Life has been fuck actually, as I have been born as a hybrid of the giants and the children of the forest. They say that I'm a blessing from the Gods because, after I was born other giants and the 'those who sing the song of earth' as they call themselves have tried to have a hybrid baby, even my parents too. But they were out of luck for that, because of that I'm a blessing to them. I have to agree with them too because if I didn't ask for an extra wish I may have been reborn as one of the kids born in Westeros after the First Man came here.

Anyway, with how things are I don't know how long I will be alive if nobody kills me that is. It's been a hundred years since I was born as a giant-child of the forest hybrid. The good news is, I almost look like a human and that I look like twenty even in my hundreds in human standards, and the bad news is that I'm huge, not as huge as the giants but huge in terms of humans, I'm at least eight and half feet tall. And they did give me a name, but as I became able to speak I told them to call me Hugh and it worked as they kept calling me that over the years.

Since I had been born as a hybrid, I had taken in two wives one from each of the species and I have three children in each species but they didn't became a hybrid like me, because the giant children only took giant DNA from me and the children of the forest (COF) only took the COF DNA from me. And as I had requested, they all have the skill for farming, but not as efficient as mine but better than the best there is. All of them are below the age of twenty and they've married from their respective species and have their own little children. And boy are they loud, but it's fun to be with them and I now know how my grandparents were joyful whenever me and my siblings went to their home.

As I was musing about the past century as per the time on earth, my wife from COF came running towards me from a distance and from her facial expression, I'm sure that it's something grave. So I stood up from my seating position and went towards her and asked in 'True Tongue' "What happened?"

She answered me while huffing and puffing "Man..... Metal..... Come... Hunt... "

My eyes went wide at that and I asked her "Man with metal things came to hunt us?"

She nodded and was about to run and warn others so I stopped her and asked "Where are the kids?"

"North." Grass said.

"Good. Tell them to stay in the North and don't let the little ones run around and inform the Giants too, I will take care of this." I told her while patting her head. And she wordlessly nodded in reply and ran to the North to warn others, as for me I looked towards the South, where Drone will be and mumbled to myself "So it begins."
