3 3 | First Man Invasion II

As Grass went towards North to warn the rest of the family Hugh started to march south on his mammoth slowly.

On his way towards South, he saw some of the Giants and CotF counting the number of the little ones so that there won't be anyone missing. And as he passed by them they all greeted him and he greeted them back and went on his way towards the South.

As he reached the Isle of Faces, he looked around to see if there was someone near. Confirming that there were none, Hugh spoke "Come Out."

As the words came out of his mouth, fifty thousand shadow soldiers came out from his shadow and kneeled in front of him. Seeing the shadow soldiers, his mammoth got uneasy. Understanding its fear, Hugh rubbed his back and said "Don't worry Manny, they're with us."

Understanding what it's master said, Manny the mammoth started to relax.

Smiling at that Hugh looked towards his shadow soldiers and said "Twenty five thousand will go to the South and scout what's happening there from the shadows. The rest will go to the North, five thousand will be always with my family from now on and the rest will be protecting the other giants and . That's it, dismissed." With the orders given half of the soldiers went towards South and the other half went towards North.

Getting off Manny, Hugh looked around and told Manny "We're going to rest here for two days."

As he sat down on the grassland and took out ten burgers from his food dimension and started to eat. Manny the Mammoth also started to eat grass from the ground.

As both Manny the Mammoth and Hugh the Wild Giant were eating their meals without a care in the world, the First Man who started their immigration to Westeros was settling down in the South. Unknown to them, they were being watched by the shadow soldiers sent by Hugh.

In the North some of the Giants and CotF have gathered together with Grass and Hugh's kid's and his grandkids, and went towards a cave system that was built underground by Hugh and his kids. Unknown to them, the shadow soldiers sent by Hugh have got into their shadows in order to protect them from harm's way.

As I was sitting and eating my burgers, I got feedback from the shadow soldiers that I sent in different directions for different purposes.

The First Men from Essos are now settling in Drone, and they haven't moved from there at all. They're wary of this land, which is understandable as there are so many wild species in Westeros.

As for my family, well they have moved into the caverns I have made with my children that span all the way towards two fangs, drilled through the mountains too when we made those caves. The caverns are filled with food for giants to last upto five to ten thousand years, all hail the preservation magic of the CotF. Thanks to me being a hybrid, I also have them. The caverns starts from the bottom of the mountain range that is at the end of the neck and ends all the way in the Two Fangs mountain range in the North.

As they are inside the caverns they will be safe from the invasion of the humans, as I will make sure of it. From what I have seen in the past century, a normal giant can live five hundred years without any trouble and after that it's variable. As for the CotF they are ageless, but they're just like humans. That is, they die of hunger, suffocation and other deliberate means to end a life. So unless you kill them there won't be any issue with them living a long healthy life. So there won't be any problem for them as long as they stay inside the caverns and as for the safety of the entrance, both entrances will be guarded by two thousand shadow soldiers and the entrance will be closed off using magic so, I'm not worried about them anymore. As for the rest of the giants and CotF? Not my problem as I have no obligation to save them or protect them by searching for them. But if they request my help directly, I will help them.

As I was musing about those things and the First Men have started their expansion from the South. They've started to drive out the CotF from Drone and from what I can see, they are succeeding in it and my shadow soldiers are showing them the safest route from South to North from the shadows. The CotF know that there is someone guiding them but they're not sure what it is, but they're sure that it's not an enemy so they are all going along with it.

'If my estimation is correct then the first men will reach the North within a decade or so.' With an amused smile I just went to sleep.
