Enter the Dragons

Layna Stark POV:

Today was just getting better and better.

First I saw what looked like the most beautiful pair of human being comes and greet father for an audience.

I have not been one for looks initially but datum it should be made illilegal to look that darn beautiful.

Severus Dragoneel and Narcissa Belarion those were there names that I got to know later in the audience chembers of my father.

Today was just one of those days that I was present in the castle instead of going out for hunting and hence was able to attend their meeting with my father and his maester.

Boy was I glad that I was.

Those to straight up made some outrageous claims about being blood of old Valyria and what not.

Wanting to buy the entirety of Skagos and Skane for themselves and their vassals.

The offer that they made was too good to be true and hence I could understand my father 's apprehension with regards to both their offer and their claim about being the oldest families of dragon lords.

But nothing could have prepared any of us for what was about to come next.

The Narcissa asked if we wanted to see their dragons to which after some thought my father agreed to, made sense if you ask me their claims were too outlandish and this would be perfect way to find out the truth behind everything.

So we followed them to the courtyard.

Once we reached there, they both just walked into the center of the courtyard and took what looked like two long branches of weirwood tree and pointed out to the sky and shouted simultaneously,

"To me Belarion!!!"

"To me Winter!!""

And I watched as two shots of energy which looked lightning bolts shot out from their weirwood branches upto the sky.

The entire sky darkened all of a sudden.....

And after what seemed like an eternity of omnibus waiting it was finally heard...

And thus on this day history was written anew.

Something which was thought to be lost in the echoes of time forever happened again.

I witnessed as westeros was blessed with the roars of dragons!! After a bloody century.

All words failed to depict what we were witnessing infront of us.

They were huge!!!! I don't think that they were any less than Belarion the dread in size and the last time someone had a dragon that size he conqured the seven kingdoms!!!

One had golden scales all over it's body and blood read eyes which were like rubies and the most scariest thing about that dragon was that it had two heads!!!!!!

That dragon looked like the sigil of the Belarion family.

Narcissa introduced that dragon as Belarion the enforcer the family dragon of House Belarion.

The second Dragon was snow white in color with silver scales and sapphire blue eyes... She was the most beautiful thing that I had ever scene.

Narcissa introduced the second Dragon as

Winter the wise the companion and partner of her Brother the lord of House Belarion

Sirius Belarion.

" umm you said that Belarion is the family dragon of House Belarion we always believed that dragon riders could only bond with one dragon so how come Belarion is the dragon of the entire family of House Belarion?" I asked Narcissa.

"That's true for most part but a family dragon is different they are the guardians and protectors of a dragon lord family.

In the past each dragon lord family used to have their own guardian dragon but that changed because of the fall of Valyria, luckily our houses had already left Valyria by then ." Narcissa replied.

"Plus I have not yet hatched my own dragon egg as of yet cause I never felt the need whenever I feel that I want my own dragon I will hatch my partner " Narcissa added.

So that's how it is .

But I still couldn't take my eyes of these majestic beasts in front of us and father and everyone else were not faring any better.

" I hope that's enough to validate our claim lord Stark?" Severus asked my father.

Off course my lord my lady sorry for doubting you my father said to them in embarrassment .

Then let's finalize the negotiations we do have people whom we need to look after and right now these negotiations are the only thing that needs to be done is what is stopping us Severus replied to my father.

But of course my lord let's get everything finalized.
