A new adventure.

Layanna Stark POV:

If not anything I would say that new Dragon lords knew how to travel in style if not anything else.

After they were done with their negotiations I had to practically beg my father so that he would allow me to go with them to Dragon's Roar.

A chance to spend time with dragons like hell was I going to let it slip from my hands.

And emotional black mail does wonders for you if know how to play your cards correctly I would rather say.

Just mentioning my betrothal to that whore monger and a stain on humanity as whole Robert the drunk Baratheon was enough to make my father finally agree.

Though I was to travel alone with a company of 100 Stark guards for my escort.

Well I guess you can't have everything in life but I will still take the deal.

I would rather enjoy my final adventure to Dragon's Roar along with this huge escort rather than bidding my time in frustration and counting my days to my execution or marriage to that damn bastard Robert.

My dear brother Benjen was also coming with us, he was hyper excited for this as well and the fact that our cousin Ragnar was already there just added more fuel to his fire.

When I first saw their ships I really don't know how to describe that feeling.

They had come with their main flag ship Dragon's Breath as they called it along with 3 escort ships!!

Damn it I don't think that even the royal family can afford to travel with such a massive entourage.

Like who the hell travels with an escort of nearly a thousand troops!

During the journey I became good friends with Narcissa though.

For someone who looks so lady like she was a total fun loving delinquent when once you get to know her.

As a fellow delinquent myself it was a match made in heaven.

We terrorized everyone with our pranks through out the entire journey.

I never had so much fun in my entire life when compared to the amount of fun I had with Narcissa.

Speaking with her I got to know something very interesting apparently Elijah's dragon Dragoneel was even bigger than both Belarion and Winter.

Now I just wait to meet him, if not for anything else than to just see his dragon who according to both Narcissa and Severus was the strongest dragon that they had.

I also got know somethings about their way of life as well, they followed the old way just like us in the north but the only exception was that just like our House Mormont in the north they also did not discriminate between men and women with regards to the whether or not can they fight or not or men are better than women or something like that.

For us your actions and your intelligence are more important than your gender as Severus had put it.

It felt completely liberating being able to travel with them if I am being honest.

I guess it had been affecting me this pressure of proving that women are no less than men even if I never wanted to show it admit it.

And now that finally I found a group of people who didn't really care for that bullshit I was finally free of all my burdens.

After a long time I was just me and this was totally liberating.

I seriously don't know what the future holds but I am looking forward to this new adventure as we head towards Dragon's Roar.
