101 Chapter 98

"But it- blerghhhh!"

"Get used to it! This is going to be a part of your everyday lifestyle, such is the curse of us curse users" Nanami spoke as he dispatched another curse

"Blerghh! Did you just- blerghhh, use a pun!"

"Come on! Show me what you got, this next one's on you" Nanami spoke as he let a third grade curse user through

The curse was like a blob as it shot towards Ron, who was too occupied to defend himself, fortunately the owl on his shoulders took action as a protective blue armor materialized on Ron's body to protect him

"Gehh! Damn it"

Ron braced himself as a giant feather materialized in his hands which he used to swing at the curse

A bunch of wind blades flew at the curse, slicing it to pieces before it could even react

Ron looked at Nanami expecting some praise, only to be doused with a bucket of cold water

"Useless, if it werent for the curses spirit taking action by itself, you would have died,dont let him command you,take control of it lest it takes control of you" Nanami scolded as he easily dispatched dozens of curses

"..sorry" Ron spoke with guilt and some shame, he still remembered how he pleaded Tom yesterday to train him and even asked Nanami to train him

Nanami also noticed the weird atmosphere and didnt continue pestering him, although he didnt say it, so as not to inflate the boy's ego

But if Ron is able to calm his nerves and train, it wont be a dream for him to deal with second grade curses in a month's time

Beside, to him the more powerful Jack and his 'organization' was, the better his chances of saving his comrades back home

"Lets go eat something, and you must be hungry since you came back right after ditching school" Nanami showed a rare smile

Ron was surprised but quickly nodded, free food was best!

"Whats the matter?" His friend asked

Tom could naturally understand the murmurs and the offhanded remarka about him being a greenie or some nobody among the students

He only smiled and introduced himself, soon the class students except his previous school students quitely did a check on him

Not long after the hall broke out in discussion, to them Tom was now a mysterious, elusive, charming and dazzling figure that couldnt be approached often and to be taught by him was nothing put a blessing

Having multiple PhD's and masters degrees, having shares in multiple multinational companies, Tom was the perfect scholar to them

Peter and the others who already knew Tom felt a sense of pride, they had been taught by Tom before and it filled them with a sense of pride

The lecture room soon turned quiet as everyone wholeheartedly focused on the lecture as they took in everything like sponges in water

Soon enough everyone asked what was on their minds

Some asked regarding the lectures while most asked some details about his personal life

Majority of which were asking if he had a girlfriend or not

Tom naturally avoided answering these kinds of questions, him being a young man who was the same age as the others helped him mingle well with the youngsters, leaving a good imression

The class was soon over and the class disperesed after Tom left

Tom who was now free went ahead and met up with the head of the department, it was mainly so that they could give a tour of the university and show him his office

Needless to say the university was more then honored to have Tom teach at the university, they were also eager to know if Tom would be willing to do some research,

After spending a a few more minutes with the department head, Tom took his leave and left in his car

He bought some take out food on his way back to the apartment , he was rather hungry, and it was now a custom to eat food together with Nanami

Taking some extra food for Ron wasnt going to be any difficult for Tom was was filthy rich

Tom also saw a figure in red and blue swinging by, bringing a smile to his face
