30 In Zerah Village

Ryu, Aiena, and Hina were the ones left behind in the room. Early morning Lina, Lana, and Snow had a meeting in this room Hina tried to get in it but was denied harshly it even made Ryu feel a bit bad for her it went like this early morning,

Lina, Snow, Lana, and Hina were discussing while Aiena was playing with Ryu,

"We need to go around, and finish work to settle here," Lina said while looking toward both Lana who answered

"I talked with Inn owner uncle and auntie about the settlement here, as this village is in process of becoming a small town, they are selling ready-made houses to settlers, the price of houses where we all can live is around 400 silver coins as they need to pay to construction worker and rest will be used for town development. But any settler who wants to settle needs to show their face at church and Village chief who got Criminal detection skill"

Ryu find it impressive that how even after having that exhausting night Lana gathered all of this information this early in the morning he thought

'She really is resourceful; I should learn one thing or two from her'

Hina tried asking

"Hey hey, can we choose where our house will be" but gesturing her to stop Lina asked further

"Do we all need to go to visit the village chief, and how much silver coins do we have right now"

"We have a total of 2000 silver coins after adding the silver we got after selling maid uniform and old clothes" Lana answered while moving her finger as if she was calculating and then come a serious topic, looking towards Snow Lina asked

"You will live with us right Snow; do you want to let your family know about you being well" and then Snow answered with the same expression as ever in a single word

"Orphan" and the mood turned dull but after a moment of silence Lina said while putting her hand on Snow's shoulder

"Snow, you now are part of our family just like my sister, I am deeply thankful for whatever you did for us and Ryu"

Hearing her say this Snow who had spent her childhood as an orphan at Light Goddess church wishing to have a family whole of her life, felt extremely happy, and a rare smile which only appear on her face while she is spoiling Ryu appear on her face and then Snow said

"Adventurer register" and all understand her meaning

"I can try to be an adventurer too" Hina spoke but was gestured again to be quiet by Lina at this point she go near Ryu who Aiena was playing with and started petting him and he sympathized with her as he thought

'It feels bad to try to be a part of the discussion you can give nothing too"

And then the discussion keeps going it was decided that Lina will be a single mother whose husband was an adventurer who never returned from a dungeon, Lana and Hina are sisters and are cousins to Lina and Snow is the sister of Lina's adventurer husband and an adventurer mage herself. After they had finalized details of the plan, they leave for taking a round of the village and also visit the church and village chief.

This is how Ryu, Aiena, and Hina end up waiting for them in the Inn room. Hina was teaching Aiena a new hand-clapping game she come up with where they jingle a song and smack each other hands it was very similar to the game girls played during when Ryu was in middle school after some time they started to talk with Ryu

"Young master…I mean Ryu did you like your name" Hina asked while putting Ryu on her lap to which Ryu thought

'It sure does seems very familiar somehow' he thought sarcastically

"Ryu is a very nice name," Aiena said while jumping a bit poking Ryu's cheek and then Hina said

"Come to think of it, Viscountess… I mean Lina sis did not come up with the last name"

"She didn't," Aiena said while putting a finger on her forehead as if remembering, and then Hina stand up putting Ryu on bed hurriedly, Ryu wanted to shout

'This is no way to put a baby down!!!' because he felt imbalanced and fall on his back and Hina spoke proudly

"Let's think of the last name which they forget, and surprise them how I can be intelligent!!"

"Yes!! Let's think of a nice one" Aiena said, at the surface, it might look both of them were happy and cheerful but deep inside all of them got wounds from last night all over their heart but even little Aiena know that Ralph wouldn't want Ryu to be surrounded with sadness and also it is no time to be lost in sadness so she was trying her best to be cheerful to heal everyone's mind.

After that, they kept thinking for a good last name Ryu was also interested and listen with concentration the atmosphere was pretty calm in the room the sunlight was now coming straight inside from the window near the bed and Ryu felt nice in the sunlight and enjoyed this sunbathing as he was thinking

'I wish I could move; I want to start gaining power soon' as he thought this Aiena and Hina also fell asleep on the other bed.

While they were sleeping at Lina and Lana were talking about the Church

"Can you please teach the children, once you settle here?" Priestess asked Lana she was impressed when she come to know Lina can do the math, know how to write, and also know many stories. She wanted Lana to teach kids in morning church school

"I will teach children for sure, but I think we are going to fall a little short on the settlement price so I cannot guarantee it, Priestess sister," Lina said while looking down and pulled a bit at Lina's skirt who followed her and priestess said with a cheerful voice

"Money won't be a bother; how much are you lacking tell me I cannot let someone this knowledgeable leave village for children's future" and Lana said in a lower voice

"There is No…no need for that"

"Of course, there is just believe it, it is like one of God led you here," Priestess said with enthusiasm in her voice at this both Lina and Lana smiled because they were led here by Light Goddess at the end Lana said

"194 silvers we are lacking only that much, but is it really okay" she intentionally did not make it 200 because a round figure looks suspicious while asking for 194 makes it seem like they are actually only asking for the amount they are lacking if Ryu was here, he sure would've hardened his belief about learning from Lana.

"Just wait for a few minutes okay" saying this Priestess rushed away and come back in a few minutes with a bag containing silver coins and handed it over to Lana while she said

"Inform me once you are settled okay, I would help you get familiar in the village" Lana who was counting coins said

"It is for you to buy utensils, furniture and other stuff like you cannot live with a house only and so I cannot give you just exact house price, after all, you will be a Church school teacher," Priestess said, after saying thanks Lana and Lina left the Church, with only this Lina recovered more than half of the price they'll pay for the house, it is not ripping off because as promised she will be teaching children at church.

After that, they go toward the Adventurers Guild where Snow was doing her registration. When they entered, they saw how Snow was still in process of becoming Adventurer, once she saw them, she come near them and asked

"5 copper" apparently, she wanted 5 copper coins for the registration process at Guild, Lina remembered it was free at her time in the past so she asked at the counter and the counter lady told her that this branch doesn't do registration, but if it is necessary for someone to get back lost Guild card or go registration, they take 5 copper coins.

And Lana paid money as having an adventure in the family at a village based on adventurers is a huge plus getting her card after registration was done Snow held it up and announced

"I am adventurer" and feeling the vibe both Lina and Lana clapped as they said

"Congratulation Snow" Lina said while patting her back

"Congrats, Miss Snow" Lana said with a happy expression

"Thanks!" Snow replied as she put the card in the pocket of her robe

Now they made their way to the final location for today and also most important so left for the last Village Chief House.
