Chapter 45: A Journey of mind and spirit.

His Elegance delved into the intricacies of elemental magic, experimenting with different spells and incantations to harness the power of fire, water, earth, and air. With each success, he grew more confident in his abilities, his magic becoming an extension of his will.

The Captain, Seeing everyone practicing magic, changed his plans for today's practice and began weaving space and gravity magic. Focusing his mind and channeling his mana, The Captain delved into the mysteries of space and gravity, seeking to understand the underlying principles that governed these powerful forces. 

Zenmaster, having undergone his evolution, emerged from the meditation pit with a newfound sense of purpose. His martial arts had evolved to new heights, granting him abilities and techniques that surpassed anything he had achieved before.

As for me, I delved deeper into the study of illusion magic, seeking to master the art of deception and misdirection. With each spell I cast, I pushed the boundaries of my abilities, exploring new ways to manipulate light and sound to create convincing illusions.

I couldn't get the lingering thought out of my mind. What magic would be better to build my labyrinth with? I'm thinking something combo-ish between organic and earthy or maybe even porous metal. I wouldn't want to disturb the ecosystem with my building. I know I want some kind of changing door system too. Where the paths differ with each passing hour of the day causing havoc and chaos to all that enter without the rights to be there.

Together, we trained tirelessly, pushing ourselves to the limits of our abilities in pursuit of mastery. But even as we grew stronger, we knew that the path ahead would not be easy. The forest was still teeming with dangers, and the threat of the Dark Fungal God loomed ever-present on the horizon.

With the end of the day nearing Master Shikan presented us with more of his medicinal pills, one for each of the four of us. Which we all quickly wrapped in hyphae to consume for the night.

By the way Zenmaster did you get anything interesting in your evolution menu? (Zenmaster) As a matter of fact I did. I was presented with the opportunity to be a monk. Which I ended up taking without a second thought. 

(The Captain) The pit boys are looking fine. I think they have been practicing martial arts to their upper limits today. I wonder how we are going to get them to level up, we can't just drag them all out of the pit and expect Master Shikan to have nothing to say about it. (Main body) An intrusive thought passes through my mind… We should just march them out in formation. That would surprise the hell out of him. (His Elegance) We did kinda prove ourselves out there today, maybe he'll let us run an expedition tomorrow outside the dojo.

As we discussed our progress and plans for the future, I couldn't help but feel a sense of chaos consume my mind. What would it have been like had I not separated these parts out of me. I would literally be out of control thinking to myself in so many different directions or even losing my mind.

As the night wore on and we prepared to rest, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for my companions and the journey we had undertaken together. Whatever challenges lay ahead, I knew that we would face them as one, united in our determination to overcome whatever obstacles stood in our way. And with that thought in mind, I closed my eyes and allowed sleep to claim me, knowing that tomorrow would bring new adventures and new opportunities for growth.
