6 Origin of the System and Other Players

Rung Dun didn't know what to do. Fend off the wolf attack or search for the killer. There could be dangerous assassins in the clan trying to kill them when they finished fighting the wolf or while fighting the wolf. He then decided, "So be it. The Thousand Timber Wolf King also suffered a direct impact. Its large body had many burned marks, and some of its furs were still burning. Frightened by the immense power of the spell, the large timber wolf ran with its tail between the legs.

The other surviving wolves also began retreating. Some managed to get inside the fog and managed to survive the assault from chasing clansmen, the rest that couldn't manage to get inside the fog got killed.

In the Mana Spring, Mizar was delighted on seeing that the process had succeeded and getting stat points. The Mana Spring that came up to his waist was now was decreased by 4-5 inches. That was 20-30 years worth of lifespan of Mana Spring. The process of awakening didn't consume the most Mana, but the system did. The system required Mana to operate and give Mizar the experience points, increase his stats and such. When killing people, the system takes energy from the soul and to give the Exp for achievement and increasing stats mana or energy of equivalent value. So, the Exp gained was equivalent to the energy stored in the soul. Mizar didn't know any of it and couldn't sense it as well. Not anyone in this clan could sense it. Only some powerful mages could sense it.

Mizar noticed the change in Spring and inwardly thought, 'The awakening shouldn't have used this much mana. Who knows, in this other world, I shouldn't think of it as same as my previous world. Who knows what other there might be that surprises me.'

He went back the way he came from until there was a dead end. He then twisted some rocks in different angles. He backed up a few steps, and the stairs came down again. He walked up the stairs, and the cave closed itself as same as it was before. The stairs also attached itself to the upper floor, and now everything looked normal.

Mizar, who was standing at the top of the stairs, was now at the bottom. He thought of robbing the place but immediately discarded it. The Clan Leader had probably some protective measures in place. He just hadn't put any protective measurements in the Mana Spring was probably because of two reasons.

First, he was probably afraid of messing with the Mana Spring and damaging it. Second, he was confident that no one could ever find the way to go to the Mana Spring.

Mizar had just walked past the pool in front of the mansion when suddenly he heard a huge explosion noise. It reminded him of his last minutes in his previous life, but this explosion paled in comparison to that. The explosion in his previous life was !00,000 more destructive and powerful.

He knew the battle had ended when he heard the explosion. So he hurried and rushed towards his home.

The Mana Spring again decreased when Rung Dun used the spell. The decrease in Mana Spring was about 3-4 inches, and lifespan was again decreased by roughly 30 years. The Mana in the surrounding wasn't enough to supplement for the spell he used, but he forcefully drew mana directly from the Spring and used it.

Mizar ran as quickly as he could towards his house. He occasionally changed routes as not to get tracked where he came from. He got to his home after about 20 minutes. The dead bodies of servants were still there, the pool of dried blood, the tattered blanket, everything was the same as before. He was planning to dispose of the bodies of servants by burying it in the hill of wastes when he thought of something.

"System, how do I use the Class Effect?" He asked the system.

Instead of a voice, a window popped up.

Mizar thought about one of the servants and said: "Revive."

Grey gas appeared out of nowhere and tried to enter the body of the servant but failed.

In a black space, there were billions of specks of light. Inside one of those specks of light were many planets, stars and floating continents. Suddenly, the whole speck of light exploded, and a soul flew up. A man caught the flying soul. The soul desperately tried to get free.

"HaHaHaHa, Susa you bitch. Now I also have a soul that can withstand the technique. The inheritance will be mine, and I will avenge my Son."

In another part of the black space.

"I have to say, Lock's way is quick and efficient. It does decrease a bit of my essence, but it's worth it. I can't expect to get the inheritance for free." In his hand, he also had a soul. If Mizar were here, he would have recognized it as himself. The entire Universe Mizar lived in was destroyed so that these Immortal Mages could get the inheritance.

More thousands of years before Mizar's soul had been captured.

Seven people were travelling together towards the same location. 2 were women, and the rest were men.

"Are you sure that it is the inheritance of an Otherworldly Divine Mage?" The one who asked was a woman, and her name was Alevein. She had long brown hair and brown eyes with a short and pointy nose. She was wearing a sleeveless green robe with a flower pattern over it, but it couldn't hide the big hills on top of her chest. Her hands were snow white and smooth like jades.

"Yes, it was, but it required a total of seven people to open to I had to ask all of you to come. We can split the inheritance. 45% for me and rest for all of you" The one who answered was Lock. He had long, porcupine-like white hair with a scar on his face. He was tall and Masculine and was carrying a huge broad sword on his back.

"Okay but let's get there first" Alevein replied. Lock began speeding, and the rest followed him.

8 years later, they arrived in front of one of the light specks. The rest of the light specks were of fixed colours, but this was changing colour. It changed colour every six months. When they got near it, they heard a voice inside their head welcoming to the test for an inheritance, and they entered the light speck.

Three Hundred Years later, they came with 7 people, but now there were only 4 left. Alevein, Lock, Susa and the guy who got Mizar's soul in the future, Kazer. This was the final round of the inheritance. They were ready for something dangerous, but nothing happened. A few minutes later, four lump of lights flew towards the four of them.

In each of those light lumps, there was a scroll with a recipe for something. There were a bunch of ingredients listed in a recipe like 100,000 souls of different kinds of Mages, rare Herbs, etc. but the most important one was a soul that could withstand the refinements of this technique.

"Use this technique to raise a Player. After they become Immortal Mages, bring them here with you and then can you take part in Final Round of the Inheritance," They heard a voice in their head, and before they knew it they were already ejected out of the light speck.

Nobody spoke, and everyone went their own way to find a soul to raise. Everyone had their own way of searching for the soul. The light speck which glowed originally in 9 different colours now glowed in 5 different colours.

One day, Susa accidentally found Lock's Son and sensed that he had quite a strong soul. Of course, Lock could also sense it, but he didn't dare try it on his son. If the refinement failed, he would lose his only son. Susa killed Lock's son and took his soul into the refinement process. During refinement, Susa wiped out his memory, so that he couldn't remember his past life.

After finding out his son was killed, Lock was furious and searched for Susa everywhere but couldn't find her. Then he started destroying the light speck worlds to find a suitable soul so that he could get the inheritance and kill her. Others also followed his trend and started destroying the world, hoping to get a suitable soul, a soul that could withstand the f an Immortal Mage.

The refinement took Thousands of years, and the soul was planted into the body of a nearly dying Mortal. After many years, other people also found the inheritance, and now there were a total of nine peoples with the system in this entire Multiverse. Each with their individual different powers. Each with their own adventure, journey and life.
