Iclyn

Abruptly, someone clasped my wrist. I felt a rush of emotions and I knew it's him.

"You are coming with me Iclyn," Leo said in an authoritative voice, that send shivers down my spine.

"Bro, don't mind. But I will drive her home. I have something to talk about," he said and drags me with him before Aiden could say anything. All were gaping at us with wide eyes but Leo just defies them. He makes me sit in the car, I just do what he wants cause I was weary even to initiate some baseless argument. Climbing in the car, he proceeded to steer.

He drives with his jaw clench and a scary look. The pulse in his neck ticks, his fingers tightly holding on the steering, I see the veins in his hands popping out due to his tense demeanor.

He seems intimidating for the first time.

We don't exchange any words until stop near the Han river. He climbs off the car and held the door for me. I climb off.

He stared at the glistening river, I stand beside him following his gaze. The lake was glimmering in the brilliant light of skyscrapers and buildings. The idyllic scene took my breath away. Unruffled by the wind or hustle of the city, the river was vault still and restful. A broad span of the starry night sky was slashed above it, making it appear like nature's amphitheater. My hair slowly danced with the breeze. My gaze travels to the handsome man beside me, only to realize he was already staring at me.

My breath plugged in my throat when he moved closer ever so slightly, but not breaking the eye contact.

"Why are you avoiding me?" He asked, breathing out heavily.

"It's good for you," I retorted, tearing my gaze away from him.

"Who are you to decide that?" His eyes burning at the side of my face.

Jackson would have drowned him in hell sea to get eaten up by piranhas if he spoke to me like this in front of him.

"Leo. You need to stop a-

I just couldn't complete my sentence because his hands harshly clasped oner my shoulders, pulling me closer to him. His hands slide down to my waist, and I just froze.

What he is doing man?

His lips were inches away, our noses brushing against each other, his minty breath and spicy cologne engulfed me, and warmth wrapped around us like a cozy blanket.

"Leo...."

He flushed our bodies together adding more coercion on my waist. I could feel his thumping heart beneath his hard chest. His moonlit dark locks swayed in a silent breeze, baring his forehead. His skin was kissed softly by the luminescent and his doe black eyes reflected the lights and something else, I can't put my finger on.

He slowly reached his hand and tug my hair strand aside. His warm breath tingled on my lips.

We both just froze, blocking everything out. One move and our worlds will spin and flip 180° straight, something I shouldn't do.

I am a witch.

I don't belong here.

I will flee soon.

"I just don't understand you Iclyn. Why you are so sophisticated?" his velvety smooth voice spoke quietly, making my heart go raucous.

Look into his eyes, and he will step back.

But I couldn't.

"Ic-

The sudden sound ripping through the intense moment made us jump apart from each other. Leo cursed under his breath and presses the lighting box on his ear.

"Hello?"

He rolled his tongue in his cheek, a simple move that caused a bizarre sensation in my stomach.

"We will be there!" He hastily hangs up amd heaved a frustrating sigh.

"We need to go. A chemical factory caught fire," he said, I nodded, and we both climbed in his car.

The ride was tensed and silent. I have never been so tense in my life. Not even when I was asked to walk on fire to prove myself being worthy of Queen.

I sense the hot vapors and buring smell of wood and plastic, the black and grey smoke covered the glistening sky like a blanket and uneasy feeling sets in me.

Leo stopped the car away from the bizarre flames of fire which was swallowing the concrete building.

"Iclyn, stay here. You can't be near fire," Leo said as he unfastened his seatbelt in hurry.

"Leo, I am not sitting here watching you all play heroism," I climbed off the car with my gun. Leo's fury eyes met mine as he walks around and halts in front of me.

"You. Are. Staying. Here, "he said loud and clear, opening the door of the car and trying to shove me in.

"Leo! Move aside! Don't be a kid!" I yelled, but he continued to push me inside.

Witchy witchdammit! I won't melt away. Sure I will be little hurt but it doesn't matter. I am a freaking queen! Royalty and protectiveness over my subjects are in my blood.

"Iclyn for the fuck sake! Stop fighting me! Get in the damn fucking car!!" he screamed and I flinched so bad. He noticed and stopped abruptly.

Locking his eyes with me, Leo grasped my shoulders saying, "Please. Please. Please just stay here. Should I go my knee to beg," he urged softly.

Boy, don't care for me too much. If you know I am just using you, you will despise me.

"Listen. I am fine. Nothing will happen to me. I can perish this fire in few minutes. Just let me okay. I will be fine," I said assuring him with the sweetest voice I can.

Leo defeatedly sighed and pulled away.

"Just do whatever the hell you want!" he threw those words and sprinted to the blaze.

I followed him and witness the boys saving people, the firefighter fighting the fire with all their might, the ambulance screaming, and rushing here and there, some people agonizing and yelling in fear.

Austin caught a glimpse of me and his eyes dilated.

"Why the fuck you are here?!" he screamed. I was a bit taken back by his tone but brushed it off.

A violent wave strikes me hard but I held my ground, helping a child and his mother. His mother was bleeding, crying in pain along with her son. I notice the bump in her stomach and my eyes widen.

They worship God, who is so cruel to them. I internally scoffed.

I close my eyes and snap my fingers, the woman gasped loudly and screamed in pain. Then I was harshly pulled up by my hair.

"What the hell are you doing to my wife?!" the man spat.

He has a death wish. I was about to bust him but then he was yanked away from me.

"SIR I WOULD LIKE IF YOU TREAT AN OFFICER WITH RESPECT!" Jack spat furiously.

"I-I...

"Shut up man! Take your wife to the hospital. You will be a father soon," I told him pointing at the unconscious lady.

The man hurriedly yelled for medical assistance and carried his wife. His son pecked my hand mumbling thank-you, cried out due to coldness then ran away keeping up his dad.

Aiden approached us, drenched in sweat.

"Jack, clear the south area," he panted.

"Leo! Why the fuck he ran in?!" we heard Ian screaming, running towards the fire.

What?

Did he run inside?

That fucking little fetus.

Without wasting a second I flee towards the fire ignoring the boys yelling after me.

"ICLYN NO!" Ian and Logan's voices slashed through the hustling atmosphere.

The burning flames vanished just by my presence.

I will be fragile after this, but I won't regret it a bit.

With my every step inside the factory, the thick glaze of ice formed beneath my feet. I used all my strength and formed a typhoon of frost, spinning my hand slowly around me in circles. My eyes constantly darted for him.

Where is he witchdam!

The fierce flames started to vanish as I wished. My body slowly started to drain, I crouched on the floor maintaining the hurricane of hail. The place almost cooled down and the number of machines was varnished with hard snow.

"Dear sis, I knew you would be here."

My heart stopped, my blood froze and panic and fear found solace in me. My drained body ditched me, making me lay straight on the floor.

"Aww Iclyn, look at you. As always helpless and pathetic in front of me. Always on your knees like a good girl," his hoarse voice ringed in my ear, threatening the tears of pain and suffering to burl my vision.

He strides to me like a cunning wolf, with a smirk plastered on his face. His burning red eyes were laughing at my fragile frame. The expensive blue suit he wore was illuminating the wildfire mist.

"Hello to you Assface. Why I am not surprised? You followed me here like a puppy wailing his tail," my breath was ragged, my throat hurts even to speak a word.

His eyes gleamed, sparkling red, he growled and lift his hand shooting a ball of fire straight at me, just in time I forced my body to roll off. The fire made contact right beside me and a scream rippled through my mouth when the sprinkles of the burst hit me.

He laughed eyeing me whimpering and squirming under his gaze. He tilts his head slightly, his eyes wander on my body as he took his lower lip in his mouth.

"I missed your body. What do you think of having violent sex here?" he asked approaching me. I held in my tears and pain, crawling away from the disgusting man, who is my stepbrother.

Brother, who was supposed to protect me. But he devoured me, shattered me, raped me, and killed our parents.

For a freaking throne.

Before he could reach me, he was knocked down on the floor with tremendous force.

"Iclyn!" Leo knelt beside my weak frame, taking my half body in his arms.

I immediately felt better. I gasped loudly, absorbing his warmth. Leo held me tightly against him, rubbing my back.

"Oh...he is the one? Your key to the throne. Hello, Leo Miles. I am Kaen, her beloved brother," he awful voice said, as he crouched on the floor watching us in amusement.

"Leo, get away from here," I instantly pulled away and pushed him.

"Fuck no!" he yelled looking back and forth between me and Kaen.

Kaen laughed, "Awww he is so cute, Your Majesty. Leo, listen to Miss Queen and get out. I have a business to do with her. Catching up a bit and making lots of love to make up the years of separation, right Iclyn?"

Leo surged forward with his revolver but I grabbed him by his shirt.

"He is not a damn human Jungkook! Please get out or else I would have to use my ways which you won't find pleasant!" I urged desperately, looking into his eyes.

"Icl-

In a blink of an eye, Leo was pinned to a wall, Kaen strangled him, lifting him by his neck.

Leo yelled, struggling to free himself. I hunched on my knees, sitting calmly, and closed my eyes.

His hand is burning hot, my skin simmered and I struggled to exempt myself. My vision blurred slowly blackness crept its way.

"You lowly human, you think you can even lay your finger on me?" Kaen's eyes flared with flame.

My gaze halted on Iclyn, her hair started sparkling, her eyes dangerous hooded when she slowly dragged her glowing neon hands up and forced and a huge sphere of ice in our way. I screamed and closed my eyes frightened.

My body fell on the icy floor with a loud thump. I couldn't breathe, I coughed clutching my chest, and slowly lifted myself on my elbows. When I open my eyes solely, everything around me was garnished in thick hail. The soft snowflakes dropped on the floor, I frantically look around for her.

Iclyn was laying lifeless miles away from me. Her face was white like snow, her hair was dull lacking all the power and vitality. I whimpered in grief when I tried to get close to her.

She will feel better once I am close. I am sure she will.

I tried standing up but my body froze when I saw a man popping out of nowhere. He knelt beside her and pick her in his arms.

"ICLYN! YEAH DONT TOUCH HER! LEAVE HER!" I screamed, leaping towards them.

The man looks at me then disappeared into thin air, leaving a sprinkle of frosty dust behind.

"ICLYN!!! ICLYN!" I cried out, spinning in circles desperate to get a glimpse of her.

"Leo!!"

"There he is!!"

A pair of arms wrapped around me but I push the person away.

"Leo, what happened?" Ian asked worriedly.

"Ian! She disappeared!" I cried out.

"Who?" Owen asked.

"What you mean by who? My Iclyn!" I yelled panting heavily.

They both exchanged strange glances.

"Who is Iclyn?" Ian asked.
