Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #8

Jack and Lockjaw appeared in the skies above Atillan with a flash of light. Before they started falling to the ground, Jack caught the dog by the nape.

"Good boy. Now go back and wait to come back with the others. I should be done in a few hours."

Lockjaw barked back at Jack as if to say 'understood.' Jack then threw the dog higher into the air before blue energy surrounded it once again and it teleported away.

When he was all alone, Jack looked down on the city beneath with excitement in his eyes. The bloodlust that he had been holding back since he got to Earth could finally be unleashed.

'No more need to worry about laws and lives. Of the 1,000 or so Inhumans down there, any one of them that dares to resist is open season for me. I hope a few of them can give me a bit of a challenge.'

Jack looked down at the palace that had all sorts of lights coming out of every entrance and exit. As he approached it, he could hear cheers and music. It was obvious that they were having a celebration to party.

'It's going to be a party for me too!'

Jack flew back into the sky before going for a nosedive and breaking through the roof of the building.

In the main room where Maximus was holding his party, he was suddenly stunned when the ceiling collapsed. And when the smoke cleared and he saw a person was standing in the center, fury erupted from his eyes.

"Who are you to dare barge into my palace?!?" Maximus asked from his throne.

Dozens of Alpha Primitives surrounded Jack with guns and spears pointed at him. Several Inhumans also stepped up and approached Jack with killing intent. Jack ignored them all before turning his attention to Maximus.

"Black Bolt and Medusa sent me here. They want you to peacefully abdicate the throne. I am here to deliver that message and deliver another... less kind message if that one is not understood by you."

Jack said his purpose but he truly wished he got to deliver the second message. Judging from how Medusa and Black Bolt warned him, he would surely get his wish. And Maximus did not disappoint.

"Haha. My brother could not get back the throne on his own so he sent an outsider? Is this something a true king does?" Maximus asked while secretly laughing about how foolish of a move this was. It was basically telling any human that was sitting on the fence or on Black Bolt's side that he was an unfit ruler.

"You misunderstand. Black Bolt still considers you his brother and every Inhuman as his people. He does not wish to harm his people.

But I don't care about any of you. So I am here to put you all in your place so he can rule his people peacefully. This is his warning. If you truly anger him, he will be coming for your head personally." Jack warned them honestly.

As much as he wanted new powers, he also knew that some of these people were loyal to Black Bolt. If he performed poorly, then word of it would eventually reach Black Bolt and ruin their budding relationship.

"Enough! A filthy outsider dares to come into our kingdom and meddle in our affairs?" a man said

The Inhuman that yelled out suddenly charged toward Jack as he enlarged himself. By the time he neared Jack, he was already 50 feet tall and could barely stand in the room. The giant threw a punch at Jack.

Seeing that the other party made the first move, Jack smiled savagely. He didn't attempt to block but launched his own attack instead. Several, giant blades of ice appeared around Jack's body before they shot toward the giant.

The blades flew past the giant fist and swift cut into his body. Jack aimed them at his throat, eyes, and heart. The blades quickly passed through his body and went through the other side. The large body began to shrink as it fell back lifelessly.

'Hmm. [(Inhuman) Self-Size Manipulation: The user can grow up to 100 times their normal height or down to 1% of their normal height.] Seems like a decent power. I wonder how it affects my physical strength.'

While Jack was thinking about how he could explain this power in the future, the Inhumans standing around him were looking at him as if he was a monster.

Tohan was one of the strongest members of Maximus's royal guard. For him to be killed when the other person did not even move their body, was truly something freighting to see.

"You bastard!" a woman shouted before she charged toward Jack and pointed an open palm at him

Jack felt pain in both of his eyes before they quickly regenerated. When his eyes came back, he saw that there were two things that looked very similar to his old eyes in the woman's hand.

Another man stood next to her before he released purple smoke from his mouth that quickly went toward Jack. When he breathed it in, it was obvious that the gas was poisonous.

'Well isn't that fun! If I didn't have a healing factor on Wolverine's level, these two would have killed me.'

Jack created several thin needles of ice that were hard to see under all the lights. They flew swiftly through the air before they pierced through both of their skulls and killed them instantly.

[

- (Inhuman) Pocket Theft: The user is able to take any item within their line of sight that can be held in their palm.

- (Inhuman) Poisonous Breath: The user is able to spew out poisonous gas from their mouth. Highly lethal.

Jack felt glad for himself. He had been back on Earth for almost 2 months and had not gotten anything new that entire time. Yet in less than a minute, he was able to get 3 useful powers.

'I get why people become villains. They get to do whatever they want without having to worry about the limitations of laws and morals.'

Jack slowly approached Maximus as he was hoping he could kill the current 'king' of the Inhumans but he knew better. Maximus looked terrified as Jack approached but when they got within 20 feet of each other, the look on Maximus's face changed drastically.

"Die!"

Jack could feel as if he was just given the word of God and instantly felt an intense need to take his life. Luckily, due to his training with his telepathy from Emma Frost and the warnings of Medusa, Jack was able to quickly determine and destroy Maximus's influence on his mind before it truly took effect on him.

'So this is why Black Bolt didn't want to kill his people. It is hard to tell who is truly siding with him and who is being controlled. This power is truly deadly.

It's different than normal telepathy since it broke straight through my psychic shield. I'm honestly not sure what it is exactly. If I did not have all that training, I would have died today.'

Jack quickly flew in front of Maximus and slammed his head into the back of the throne, knocking the mad king unconscious. Jack held up the bloody body of Maximus as he turned to the other Inhumans in the room.

"Any other takers?"
