Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

(So I've created a list of canon characters to kill in order to get their powers. Already have 5 x-genes, 1 inhuman, 1 mutate, 1 magical power, and 3 skills. Any none canon character suggestions for an omega-level power?

Technically, his power is already Omega since it has no limits but I also want to make him a powerhouse in raw power as well. My current final product for him is country-level at most.

I was thinking about omega-level lightning manipulation but eh. This is the readers' chance to make him be planet level or higher.)

The plane landed at the airport before Jack and Emma boarded a private car to take them to the meeting spot location, the Illumination Private Club. This place was created and owned by the current Black King of the Inner Circle, Sebastian Shaw.

When the pair pulled up outside the club, Jack was surprised by just how elegant it looked. In the city of New York where most buildings looked the same to Jack, this one truly stood out to him.

'No, it's not just the renovation they have done to this building. The location also makes it stand out. This is the eye of the wealthy. To be able to see potential in a place and make it such a high-class location, I need to make sure I remember this. All of the members who are this far up are sly old foxes. None of them can be underestimated.'

The pair exited the car and stood in the sunlight in front of the club. When the guards at the entrance saw them, they immediately tensed up. Both had already been informed that the club was closed for a private event by friends of the boss and the people arriving were all big shots.

Jack and Emma walked past the guards without looking directly at any of them. Although one of the guards wanted to stop them, he was put off by the aura they were exerting which made him unable to get close or say anything to them.

Once inside, the building got even more luxurious. Jack did not focus on it and followed behind Emma. The moment they had arrived, they were under the watch of the other members. Jack could not afford to act like a country bumpkin.

The pair traveled through several hallways and up a set of stairs before they arrived at a private meeting room. This room also had two guards outside of it but both seemed to know who Emma was.

"Good morning, Ms. Frost and Mr. Smith!" the pair greeted before opening the door

Jack and Emma walked inside to a small room. There was a large circular table in the middle of the room with 8 seats around it. 7 of those seats were already filled with different individuals.

In the seat of the Black Rook was Jason Wyngarde. He was a famous and powerful member of Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants as well as the Hellfire Club. His ability to cast Illusions was so strong that he could trick Jean Grey into joining the Hellfire Club as their Black Queen.

In the White Rook's seat was Emmanuel DaCosta. The man was a rich businessman from Brazil. He was not very powerful and was actually quite tame compared to the other members but since he was going against the other faction, he was considered their enemy. What none of them knew, was that this man was also the father of one of the members of Xavier's newest team of mutants.

The Black Bishop was a much lesser known mutant by the name of Harry Leland. This man could manipulate the mass of other beings and objects. Although it was not the most powerful ability in direct combat, he was still dangerous to non-mutants.

The White Bishop was Alexa Trask. She was the youngest member of the White Rebellion faction. Alexa was also the heir to Trask Industries, the creators of the Sentinel Program. The Black King had originally invited her into the Club to gain control of her Sentinels but was not prepared for the resistance she would put up.

The Black Queen was a dangerous mutant known as Selene. No one knew much about her but she had wisdom that exceeded even Emma and The Black King. When asked about her age, she would usually reply that she saw whoever's grandparents pooping their diapers.

The White King was a man known as Donald Pierce. He was the biggest mystery and threat to the mutant faction of the Inner Circle. What made him so dangerous, no one knew. But this man had been able to survive every assassination attempt and made sure to keep the other two members of his faction alive as well.

Lastly was the Black King. This man was Sebastian Shaw. It was he and Emma who had worked together to eliminate the previous generation of the Hellfire Club before forming this new iteration of it. He was a powerful mutant with the ideals of mutant supremacy, and the means to make it come true.

Jack was thinking about how he could defeat each member of the Hellfire Club but his conclusion was very disappointing to himself.

'It's all the royals though. The Rooks and Bishops, I'm confident in taking them all on. But each of the Kings and Queens... these guys are all monsters.'

Jack tried to think of ways that he could beat each of the royals but from the information Emma gave him, he currently had no chance. Selene and Shaw were powerful mutants while Pierce was a mystery.

Even against Emma who he was most familiar with, he knew he was unable to beat her since he only had the powers of someone she had already beaten easily and a few more powers that wouldn't be able to make up the differences.

'Am I really so weak right now?'

Jack had a private crisis as the pair moved toward the table in the middle of the room. Emma took her seat while Jack stood behind her. It seemed that he was not the only heir there. All the members of the mutant faction seemed to have brought their successor with them. And one face was very familiar to Jack.

"Hi, Jack!" Yukio smiled sweetly and waved
