"Sammy! Amara needs help over there! You're moving too far out, Dani!" a young Asian woman in a black and yellow X-Men uniform gave orders as she stabbed into the chest of a demon. Karma was the leader of the New Mutants and was trying to control the battle as much as she could.

The group was going to visit Amara's home in the heart of the Amazon but was attacked by an army of demons on the way there. A horde of demons emerged from a portal, led by a large pink demon.

With their numbers much smaller than the opponents and being caught off guard, the only thing they could do was land the jet on a tall hill and take in the best defensive position they could manage.

"Agh!" many of the New Mutants heard Magik yell in pain as she battled with the leader of the demons. The pair were exchanging blow after blow with Magik slowly losing ground against the giant demon.

Although she was the Queen of Limbo, that was only in Limbo. Outside of her dimension, she was much weaker and was bound to lose to S'ym. The only reason that she was able to hold on for so long was due to the anti-magic properties of her sword.

Even though many of them wanted to go over and help her, they couldn't afford to. If anyone of them lost their composure for even a moment, they would instantly be swarmed and overwhelmed by the army of demons around them.

Suddenly, a bright green light appeared above their heads in a flash. When the light faded, 2 figures fell to the ground while one stayed floating in the air.

Blade and Elsa instantly charged into the hordes of demons, killing over 20 each in the first few blows. They had battled supernatural creatures their entire lives so they knew how to swiftly and easily slay them.

Doctor Strange began to make several gang signs before a magic circle appeared in front of his chest, unleashing a blast of orange magical energy that blew S'ym down the hill they were on.

Magik turned to Strange and nodded to him to show her appreciation before charging into a group of demons and beheading all of them in a moment. She was much better suited to lay lesser demons while leaving S'ym to Strange.

"This girl is pretty good," Strange said to himself before flying down the hill to battle with S'ym.

"Fuck me!" Logan shouted as he coughed out some green and black dust

Wolverine beheaded his 83rd Hand ninja that immediately turned into dust. This was the 8th one that had ended up with some of their death dust in his nose or mouth. And with Wolverine's enhanced senses, the taste of death was so much worse.

Wolverine tended to stay away from Japan these days due to his bad history with the Hand. To have them come and invade his home pissed him off more than anything had recently.

While Wolverine led the charge at the front, Laura was right next to him as she cut down Hand ninja after ninja, killing them all with precision. Due to her training with Jack, she had become a much better combatant that could hold her own with expert martial artists.

In fact, Generation X and the Cuckoos were also doing much better than all the other students present due to their training with Jack. And this was due to a difference in training styles.

The X-Men taught the kids how to protect themselves. Jack taught them how to take down their enemies before they could get hurt. This is why Jack's methods created such great fighters that were holding their own during the siege of the mansion.

The students and staff of the institute had actually managed to force the ninja out of the mansion by the time their reinforcements arrived.

With a flash of pink, Clea and her allies had arrived. The moment the 3 martial artists landed on the ground, they began to slay the countless ninja without mercy.

Elektra was a professional assassin and was the best killer among them while Daredevil and Iron Fist were the better martial artists. With their combat skills and Clea's magic, the Hand was quickly forced to back even more.

But just as they were about to lose, the Hand's reinforcements had arrived. 5 beautiful women, a group of men and women in white clothing, and a samurai in silver armor arrived along with even more ninja in red clothes.

They were all led by a man in a white and red robe with a red blindfold over his eyes with a pair of katana on his back.

"The Hand is not about to give up with just these few casualties you have caused," Gorgon said before commanding the reinforcements to begin their assault

In the middle of New York, a giant portal was in the sky. It was half a mile in diameter and constantly had Chitauri and their war machines emerged from it.

Many of the heroes and villains of the city were working with the police, military, SWORD, and SHIELD. But even with their combined forces, it was impossible to stop the forces that had flooded the city out of nowhere.

In a flash of red, Storm and Stella appeared above the portal and saw the damage to the city below. Almost every building immediately below the portal was either destroyed on the verge of collapse.

The Chitauri had managed to take over the land beneath the portal as their own territory while all those opposing them in New York were trying their best to keep the area from expanding. It had turned into a true warzone.

"Ready, Child?" Storm asked with a teasing smile on her face

Stella nodded bad with a stiff and cold expression. Her smile was only for her family.

"Let's get this done."

Both women began to summon a large black cloud beneath their feet that slowly descended and expanded. Within moments, the cloud had exceeded the size of the portal and had a height of over 1000 feet.

The cloud covered the portal and much of the sky beneath it. To all of those outside of it, it just seemed like a large cloud to block the Chitauri's vision as they exited the portal. But the Chitauri, Storm, and Stella all knew what type of hell was within the cloud.

Thousands of lightning bolts, blades of wind, blizzards, whirlpools, solar flares, stardust storms. So many planetary and cosmic storms were happening within the darkness.

The furthest that any of the Chitauri were able to make it through the cloud was 100 feet before it was killed by sort of phenomenon.

It took many of the Chitauri and Earth forces a few minutes to realize that reinforcements hadn't arrived. That the backup they desperately needed to press their assault did not come. And that this battle had truly turned in the humans' favor.

All due to 2 Omega-Level mutants. This thought caused many mutants to feel admiration for their mutant brethren while it caused fear in many of the... less understanding or tolerant humans. Either way, someone other than Magneto and Jack finally showed the world on a public stage, just how powerful mutants can be.

"No, Johnny! We can't bring the kids to space!" Sue yelled at her brother

"Sue. New York is a literal war zone right now so we won't be able to get a sitter. The safest place for them if on the jet with us," Johnny tried to argue

Sue was about to yell at Johnny again when she felt a large, rough hand on her shoulder.

"As much as I hate agreeing with Johnny, he's right, Sue. As long as the ship doesn't blow up, they will be just as safe as the rest of us up there," Ben had to try and negotiate with her. Not just because it was true but also because they needed to hurry before the Brood could get too close.

Sue looked at him for a moment before she reluctantly nodded her head. Both of the kids that had already snuck onboard yelled in joy before getting out of the cabinet and finding themselves seats.

Sue glared at her kids before sitting down next to Crystal. The Fantastic 4's jet soon took to the sky and started heading for space. As they flew higher and higher, they noticed that there were several others with them.

Some heroes were flying on their own while some were in jets just like theirs. But they all had the same mission. Repel the Brood.

With a flash of blue light, Jack appeared over Genosha and saw hundreds of Sentinels in the air while hundreds of their corpses littered the nation below.

Large blades of metal were floating through the air, beams and missiles fired from the ground, and just pure chaos all around.

Seeing all of this going on, Jack instantly went wild. Jack's size went from a little over 6 feet to barely under 100 feet in a moment. Jack then charged into the Sentinels in the air as he tore through them with his dozens of powers as he destroyed as many as he could.

With the extra Omega-level mutant, the Genoshans (sounds like a star wars race) were able to repel the Sentinels much faster and easier.

It was not until they had destroyed all the Sentinels that the true mastermind appeared.

A large robot that was about 10 feet tall floated before Magneto and Jack's tired bodies. The body was a mix of light purple and pale pink. But Jack instantly felt fear for the first time in a long time.

He had seen Rachel's memories. He saw what was the true cause of countless mutant deaths. He saw the robot before him.

He saw Nimrod.
