Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #11

Jack and the girls flew all the way to the institute. By the time they arrived, most of the students and teachers were having supper. Kitty was also on her way to have dinner with Bobby and Peter when she heard a knock on the door.

Thinking one of the students lost their key or gone outside without taking it with them again, Kitty opened the door without even asking who it was.

When she saw it was Jack, her face instantly blushed as she saw her celebrity crush in front of her. But when she saw the other women around him with their luggage, her blushing, innocent face turned into one of confusion.

"What are all of you guys doing here? I thought you were all Avengers now," Kitty questioned

Jack scratched the back of his head as he tried to think of an explanation. In the end, he decided to just use his telepathy to replay the events that happened earlier.

On his way over to the institute, Jack had decided to no longer hold back as much as he did with the Avengers. Although he still would never go all out, Jack planned to let the X-Men see more of his abilities so the idea he wanted to float by them could proceed as planned.

When Kitty got done looking through the memories, her face showed how furious the young woman was.

"Damn, Stark! I would have kicked his ass if I was there," Kitty complained

"Ah know, right! Sugar here could have at least let me get in a good swing or touch him for a few seconds," Rogue complained

"If I did, I would have had to fight his 4 dogs and that would not end up looking well on the mutant community. When one hero fights 5, most people tend to think that the minority is in the wrong," Jack explained why he also didn't beat Stark within an inch of his life.

As much as he despised that man, he knew better than to let his emotions control his actions and ruin his future.

'Plus, I can always kick his ass when he goes out on one of his late-night rides,' Jack thought to himself. He had been paying close attention to Tony for over a month and still had access to his suit's systems. He could easily plan an ambush and beat up The Man of Scrap.

Kitty let the 5 into the house without thinking about it too much before turning to Bobby and Peter.

"You guys grab me a seat. I will hurry and bring these 5 to the Professor's office," Kitty told the pair before leading Jack's group of 5 away without waiting for either of the young men to answer.

Jack's group followed her up to the Professor's office. Once they arrived, Kitty smiled at them before phasing through the floor and heading to grab herself something to eat.

Seeing her escaping immediately after doing her job, Jack had to admit that the nickname Kitty, suited her. She was indeed mischievous like a little cat.

Jack knocked on the door and waited a few seconds before he heard the Professor.

"Come in," an old yet deep voice came from behind the doors

Jack opened it and walked into the office to be greeted by not only the Professor but also Ororo sitting on opposite sides of his desk.

"Hey, Professor! Ororo. We kind of quit the Avengers so we wanted to join the X-Men like you guys have been asking me about for a while," Jack told them about his purpose right away

The pen in Ororo's hand slip across the paper she was grading, leaving a large red mark on the paper.

'At least all of this part was wrong. I need to remind Kitty to take her classes seriously,' Ororo thought to herself before focusing on Jack

"And how did that happen, Jack?" Ororo questioned

Ororo was not blaming Jack but in fact, could tell that the young man took most things very seriously even if he had a smile on his face and joked most of the time. For him to quit the Avengers, something serious had to have been going on.

Jack did the same thing he did with Kitty and used his telepathy to how his memories to the pair in the room. He made sure to show them the undoctored version in order to ensure their trust in him.

Both were surprised by what happened to Jack during that meeting but were even more surprised that Jack had telepathy. The entire time, the group thought he was just a powerful cryomancer.

After going through the memories, Xavier and Ororo understood exactly what had happened and their emotions were similar to Kitty's earlier. But neither showed. Instead, they needed to know what would happen next.

"Ah plan to take up my old job in the X-Men and maybe be a teacher here. If ahm allowed," Rogue asked nervously. The woman felt like she may have betrayed Xavier's expectations of her by returning so soon

"I also plan on returning to the X-Men. Whether you accept me or not," Kwannon declared before turning around and walking out of the office, presumably to grab her bags and return to her old room.

Ororo and Xavier turned to Callisto who raised her hands in surrender and shook her head.

"I only joined the Avengers for fun. I'm heading back to the other Morlocks in District X."

Lastly were Wanda and Jack. Everyone already heard about Jack's plan but the pair turned to Wanda to ask whether she wanted to stay with them or return to Genosha.

Jack and Wanda had actually discussed it while she was packing. Thanks to Clea and a few million dollars, he was able to get hold of a grimoire that would allow him to help Wanda with her chaos magic.

"I...I wish to stay here. Although there is not much I can do for the students here, Jack has offered to tutor me in magic which I desperately need," Wanda pleaded, "I hope you don't mind."

Jack was looking at Wanda's blushing, nervous face and felt something begin to awaken in him.

'I want to see that face again. Oh, my me! Maybe something really is wrong with me,' Jack thought to himself before reluctantly turning his gaze away from Wanda.

The professor didn't seem to notice this but Ororo had a spark in her eyes as she watched Jack show a subtle interest in Wanda.

'I've been bored since Kitty got together with Bobby. Now I have another couple of potential lovers I can tor... I mean help put together,' Ororo quietly thought to herself

"I have no issue with that, Wanda. The Institute is here for mutants to learn and master their gifts. Your powerful magic is indeed one of your gifts so if Jack is able to help you with it, you are more than welcome to stay as long as you want," the Professor told Wanda before looking at Rogue, "And of course, you are welcomed back as well, Rogue. If you don't mind, I would prefer if Wanda stayed with you so she can have someone she is familiar with."

"That's no problem, Fessor. Come on, hun. Let's go get you unpacked," Rogue spoke to the professor first before turning to Wanda and dragging her out of the room.

"Jack, I hope you can work as our summer school teacher and private tutor for a few students who need additional help. As for where you will be staying, Jack..." the professor trailed off as he tried to think of suitable accommodation for Jack

"I'm staying with Emma," Jack cut him off, "As for your other arrangement, I have no issue."

Jack then left the stunned Ororo and Xavier in the office. When he was gone, Ororo had a grin appear on her face as she looked toward the door with interest.

Seeing Ororo's 'dark side' that no one else knew about was surfacing, Xavier felt a headache coming on.

"Ororo, my dear. Please at least let there be no bloodshed when you are done," Xavier pleaded

"I'm sorry, Professor. I can't promise that," Ororo stated before walking out the door
