CHAPTER 22: 1 MONTH LATER AND EARTH-(EDITED)

" 52, 343... 52, 344... 52, 345. All done! ". 'An honest days work.'

I've been here for exactly 1 month so far. I thought about spending only a week then moving on, but the gains from the sun were too much to leave behind. After the first 2 weeks of nothing but imagination exercise, and absorbing the suns energy. I estimated that I could kill my previous self instantly... and as of right now, I could destroy a large planet relatively easily, or a planet 5 times larger than Jupiter. That's what the system said about my estimated base power.

And at full power, I could now destroy a small dwarf star, which is impressive growth by my standards. At the moment, I was stronger than my past-self, by a considerable margin. Furthermore my multiplier for absorption had finally stopped at the third week of staying here, with it being 35.67x greater compared to regular Kryptonians, though it hasn't budged an inch since that time.

But this was my mark to leave this zone. I had acquired considerable power here and maximized on what I could gain fully. And it was only with a RED star, I can absorb this much power from a red star. Which shouldn't be possible, since red stars are known to be a sort of bane to Kryptonians. Imagine what a yellow, or even blue star could give?

My theory stemmed from of my cells going through my constant mutations and minor evolutions with the virus, with it only keeping the benefit of absorbing solar radiation from whilst not getting me weaker in the process...

Dismissing my previous train of thoughts, it still ached my heart that I couldn't get to planet earth... I had no idea the amount of things I had to do to earn my stay there, though I didn't even bother to ask about it. I should have asked earlier. It must have had been my drive for strength that made not ask the question in the first place.

I sighed to myself for that. ' Better late than never, I guess '.

" System, how many more quests will I have to do to get to earth? I would like to know ". ' keeping my expectations low will save the trouble of sobbing to myself later. '

I had been lucky to ask just now and not 20 zones later in the future. I could even make earth my home-planet too. " Okay, less chatter, more teleportation to earth, oh! and system, can you do me a favor and give me a set of cloths too? I'm stark naked ".

No form of Clothing could withstand the temperatures here, much less the gravity as well.

~ ON EARTH ~

" You know Diana... ever since that incident, batman had been obsessed with finding that dude, I was kind of worried for him. But, he's finally bounced back a week ago. Glad he finally decided to give up. ". Barry said.

She nodded, " I agree too... he was far too into his work as always, but I am indeed glad he is somewhat normal again... for the time bei- ". Diana responded. Before suddenly stopping dead in her tracks.

" Yeah, I'm glad to- ouch! ". Barry said, Hitting into Diana, realizing she stopped walking. He looked at her face to see a light red tint form on her cheeks, with her eyes looking surprised, and only looking ahead the whole time. Not realizing that Barry walked into her.

Looking at her weirdly, before asking his question.

" Ahhh diana? You ok? there... or? ", he asked, she barely muttered, shaking out of her statue like state before finally responding. " Barry... I think we found our 'mysterious' helper... ".

Curious, Barry looked ahead too curious as to what she stopped for. " Oh... ", he stopped and stared for a second. " Yeah... that's DEFINITELY him... ".

~ A couple seconds earlier, with Diana's thoughts ~

This man... he was a clearly a warrior, exuding overwhelming pressure. His features were almost ethereal in nature. His body, even with the large cloths couldn't truly hide his incredible muscular physique.

His hair, fairly long. Seemingly stopping at his upper back, while glowing white. His eyes were sharp yet fairly large with a dark outline around them, a visible sharp jawline with an angular face. His eyes... I even thought his eyes were like amethyst's itself.

He was handsome, extremely handsome... plain and simple, a compliment I rarely gave. By even Aphrodite's standards, he's far more handsome than Adonis himself.

But that description, it could only belonging to one being. It was earths savior...

Shaking myself out of my odd thoughts. I got too caught up with his appearance, only to see him mysteriously disappear once more.

~ MC'S POV ~

Being teleported into a back alley wasn't the best place possible, but it was good enough. Looking around, I saw that it was night time as well, which was good. At this time of the night people weren't usually out and about. Still I had to be careful with anyone seeing me. I needed to be quick about this.

I walked out of the alley, with something walking to the right of me. I turned to the side, only to see both wonder woman and flash, but they were off duty, going by what they were wearing, seeing me Diana stood still and Barry followed suit.

' SHIT! '.

I was foolish! A whole year of not seeing any humans had messed with my thought process. I was far too over zealous in coming back here, not taking in the fact the power houses earth now possessed. Beings that could trap me within dimensions I couldn't even hope escape from myself. And not having the system helping me to hide made it harder.

' Fuck those other Mc gamers! their lives were far too easy. '

Stopping my inner rant, right before I did anything else. I quickly enhanced my perception to the maximum reality standing still, which was over 3000 times greater than normal. Not even berry was this fast... at least, I hoped he wasn't. Which meant that catching them ' off guard ' was my only option of escaping fairly unscathed and without much notice.

I quickly flew away at FTL speeds, quickly catching them off guard, and right before Barry could enhance his own perception to match mine and find me. Now I was trying to get as far away as possible from here, since I got a shitty spawn point. Looking ahead my self, only to be seen by the man of steel himself, with the ancient one beside him.

' This is gonna be a long night huh... '.
