As I was requested to start translating from Chapter 3, I've prepared a summary of the first two chapters to give you more context on the story up until this point! Someone had posted on the school forum accusing Jian Yiling of pushing her brother Jian Yunnao off the stairs. This caused Jian Yunnao to injure his hands and put a stop to his musical career. In an alternate universe, another girl named Jian Yiling was currently reading this novel as a break between her hours of work in the research institution. In the novel that she was reading, Jian Yiling's character became bitter after she was falsely accused. Eventually, she suffered the consequences of her actions and died alone at the age of 22. However, Jian Yiling from the alternate universe crossed into the novel. Whilst she knows what happens in the novel, the novel's recount is incredibly one-dimensional. With a different personality and life experiences, she faces all these people who were once just characters in a novel. For context, the mother and father in the Jian family are Wen Nuan and Jian Shuxing respectively. Jian Yiling's brothers in order of age are Jian Yuncheng, Jian Yunmo, and Jian Yunnao. I have read up to chapter 1146. Read this book nonstop and didn't even sleep lol. I was entertained by every chapter, didn't get bored at all, and constantly laughing. You can clearly see the development of the characters, as well as some of the villains. Fortunately, there is no one same villain throughout the whole book just because the author is too lazy to make up others. Once they are taken care of, you don't see them reappear. The female lead is a little cold, but that's because she hasn't felt emotions from staying in the institute in her previous life/world. She may seem like the type that doesn't care about anything, but she's not the type to suffer in silence and be bullied. I really hate those novels where the female lead is too cool to care about the villains treating them badly and not doing much about it. She is slowly learning emotions from her family and especially the male lead. There are no misunderstandings that drag on. No loose ends, all the events that occur have a satisfactory ending, in my opinion. Details are well thought-out. So far, there have been two time skips, but not too long. Just 2-3 years each time. All the brothers are likeable. Each have their own unique personalities. Also, the side characters are loveable as well. Pairings are cute. Overall this is definitely one of my favourite novels and I will continue to follow the new chapters that come out. It's worth a try for anyone debating on whether to read this or not.
What's really amazing about this book is that the female lead is always so calm.. she thinks that action speaks louder than words which is true. I really like the story development. It's a breath of fresh air among so many novels that basically have the same story line. I hope this story gets a chance.
I think what i liked the most yet is that the female lead likes sweetsss.. lol kidding.. On a serious note i wish this novel gets selected. It does not have the revenge drama. Its simple and good. The female lead is not overly sassy or feisty. Thats fine because she has never been with family before. Introverts are like that... plus she has a fierce side to her, which is admirable.
this book is like those dramas that you can't stop watching after you start! the story made me but irritated at first becoz of the injustice (in a way) the female lead was suffering but the more I read, the more I fell in love with the story♡(> ਊ <)♡! I simply cannot wait for more chapters(✪㉨✪)! This is also easily my most favourite novel currently (♡ω♡ ) ~♪ I can't wait for it to enter the voting pole so that I can start voting already and more chapters get released!o((*^▽^*))o
