Unfortunately so. Personally, I feel like perhaps the mother's upbringing played a large role in why she became like this. However, I still feel like her actions are really inexcusable. Thank you for the support! <3 As always, please let me know if there's anything I need to fix just in case my editor missed it :)
I feel like they are quote unquote unbias because hypothetically, if Jian Yiling was at fault, they'd do the same thing. Hence, it's not that they want to take Wen Ruo's side, instead they just want peace and harmony amongst their children and grandchildren. However, feel free to correct me :)
Hello! Translator here, was reading through previous chapters to see if I misspelled anything. I just took a look at the plot of the novel you mentioned. It seems as though there are significant similarities at the start of the novel but apparently it deviates in the later chapters? Didn't read enough to tell but hopefully you'll still give this novel a try :)
Once again, thank you for your sharp eyes :) Changing it now!
Corrected! Thanks for pointing out :)
Hello friends! Apologies for the delay in translation. I was incredibly busy the past few days however I've now translated numerous chapters. All that's left is for my editor to go through the chapters. Thank you for your patience and understanding :)

Hello! Yep, I made a mistake in translating! Thank you for the pick up :)
Hello! Yeah I agree that it's sort of unreasonable. However, even in the real world, sometimes idols have to be responsible for the actions of their fans. This is especially the case in Eastern countries when fans start "fan wars" for no particular reason ): You can look up the 227 Incident regarding Xiao Zhan if you're interested.
