Rexana strode out from the hut to the sea, not knowing that there was a pair of brown eyes staring over her. That day he was planning to finally approach her. He wanted to say his farewell before he finally travelled to the city.
He was also aware that the day after would be Rexana's natal day. She would be turning twenty like Graceilla. She wanted to be with her on her birthday, nevertheless, he wasn't too sure if she would allow him.
The way she looked it seemed that she had already gotten over him. There weren't traces of sadness on her face. She even looked more gorgeous than the last time Daerin saw her.
He was happy though, that even with all the wounds she got and even in her dying state, she had recovered unbelievably fast. Scars were even barely seen from her skin.
