#ALEXANDER POV#

"Are you sure you want to leave?" Asks Ddraig from my left hand as I am sitting down and looking at the portal gun from Rick and Morty

"Yes, Ddraig, I want to leave this place," I answer him before grabbing the portal gun and looking at a tiny screen with different names for the world I can go to and a small note explaining that this is my way of traveling through the multiverse

Also, for the worlds like Elder Scrolls, their Dragonborn is missing and it falls to me as for DXD, I am the Red Dragon Emperor which means that Issei is not there

"That's not so bad,"

"Ddraig, if I go to Nirn, every entity will wonder about where I have been and how I escaped their sight. Furthermore, in your world, everything will go to shit without either me or Issei there to fight off the assholes that want to murder everyone," I tell him as those worlds are some that I am fairly interested in

Specifically the Elder Scrolls one

For their enchanted items, and alchemical ingredients, plus magic

For enchanted, items I am going for stuff that gives me resistance to anything

I bring out a list of magical items and their locations

One such example is the Ring Of Phynaster

Since the magical effects of it are rather amazing plus the power it is supposed to have in lore

I can also bypass the curse of it never staying with one user at a time thanks to the Gate

I can get the Ring of Phynaster from the lake in South Brittleshin Pass or the pond in Embershard Mine

It should make me more resistant to magic by 20% and give me a further 20% to electrical attacks, and give me some resistance to poison by 20%

Which will be amazing against Samael

One of the reasons I am going for it is due to how easy it is to get especially thanks to me having a few metal detectors and magnets

Especially since it extends the lifespan of whoever wields it

The next ring I am going for will be the Mentors ring

Which decreases the cost of every school of magic by 10%

This one will be more difficult to find but well worth it

"Who are you kidding finding it will be insanely difficult to find," Comments Ddraig

"Thanks for the vote of confidence Ddraig," I tell him

I have a few other things that I want to get

The Staff Of Magnus is one, alongside the Eye

I take away my attention from my printed notes and look at the list of worlds that I can go to

DXD, Fateverse, Elder Scrolls, One Punch Man, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Lord Of The Rings/Hobbit, Naruto, Overlord(Anime), Ninja Gaiden, Harry Potter, RWBY, MHA, PJO, Witcher, Fable, and Limitless (2011)

"You should probably go to the world of LOTR in the battle of the five Armies period," Suggests Ddraig

("You do remember what lies in the mountain owned by the dwarves,") He says and I want to facepalm myself

There are literal mountains of gold just ripe for the taking

I can feel my literal greed beginning to take over

("You should probably also fight the dragon, Smaug,") He suggests and I just look at the neon green circle on my left hand

("Why?") I ask after a bit

("Not only will it be a good test for your first fight. It can also show you where you stand in terms of power. Even then if you are in danger of losing you, can just take gold from the surrounding area to empower yourself further") He clarifies and I have to sort of agree with him

Taking in that much gold will definitely make me even stronger during the battle

("This Arkenstone though, if it truly seems to be what I think it is. You will be amazed at it,") He says and I wonder what he means by that

("From the look of it from your memory of watching that movie. That is one of the rarest and most precious materials back in my world. It would be wanted worldwide due to its applications in runes and wards. Considering how much it shines though, it is quite possibly one of the most valuable stones I have ever seen,") He says and I look at my hand again

("I thought you couldn't teach me those magics?") I ask him

("And I can't as I just have experience breaking through them rather than learning about how to use them myself. My brother was more into that,") He says and I sigh

Ddraig had other wielders however, not many lived after being found out to have the Boosted Gear

In total only around 14 out of 23 wielders actually had knowledge of magic and even then it was more in line with Arithmancy

Casting magic through math

Yeah, I am desperate for magic, but not that desperate

("Before you go let's take some time for you to use the Balance Breaker for a while. While you are at it try to use Chakra as a power source to use it as well,") He suggests and I agree with him on that

#5 MONTHS LATER#

"Done, finally," I say panting as I lay on the ground

I finally lasted an hour in my balance breaker while launching attacks that destroyed a small mountain range

("An hour may be enough to destroy this wyrm,") He says and I fall asleep

The next day I am getting everything ready to travel

After everything is ready I take out the portal gun and use it

The green portal looks so much cooler in real life

I go through and I nearly gasp at how much gold there is

Literal mountains of gold with flashes of silver here and there

I can even see gemstones the size of my head

("Look out,") Says Ddraig while I jump out of instinct

A tail smashes where I was moments ago

("The portal gun is not silent") Ddraig said and I cursed while going into Balance Breaker

"Ah, another dragon. Never before has one come here to challenge me. Very well, I shall devour you," Said Smaug and I looked at him

(Big,) I thought while looking at him raising up from the gold where he was buried

The gold that got stuck on his back ran like rivers on his sides

Every step that he took made the ground shake

("Partner, get some gold, NOW,") Ddraig yelled at me in the end as Smaug tried to step on me

I opened a portal to get some gold

"THIEF, COWARD," He screams as he releases a blast of fire that heats up the whole place and melts the gold and silver underneath me

#BOOST##BOOST##BOOST##BOOST#

I boost myself four times and charge up a dragon shot

I am at his mouth but he swats me with his tail breaking some of my Balance Breaker armor and sending the dragon shot upwards and a piece of the ceiling if it can even be called that, falls down and hits Smaug in the back

("That did nothing,") Comments Ddraig

("I FUCKING KNOW") I tell him while flying down to the ground and opening a portal as big as I can in order to get some of the gold

"ENOUGH," Screams Smaug and I dodge again

("Your power is increasing by very small amounts at this point,")

("Every little bit matters,") I tell Ddraig

I boost myself again except this time I boost myself 15 times

My limit was 8, but I don't have the luxury of holding anything back

Smaug slams me into the ground and I can feel multiple bones breaking

Blood pools in my mouth

With all of my strength left I charge a dragon shot and aim and shot just as Smaug is about to use his fire breath again

It goes right through his throat and it explodes sending his head flying off

#RESET#

I can feel my eyes closing

("Don't close your eyes heal yourself,") I can faintly hear Ddraig tell me and I begin to use the healing spell on myself which is enough to help out as my sight clears after some time I heal enough I am finally able to get myself out from under Smaug's hand

My balance breaker disappeared some time ago

I continue to heal myself as my body feels heavy

("How bad,") I ask Ddraig

("Both arms and legs were broken thankfully it was a clean break so your healing barely managed to heal them. You had hairline fractures throughout most of your bones, but again you managed to heal them barely. You had a concussion on top of your skull having a fracture,") He answers I am in shock

I slowly raise my hand and heal myself a bit more

("How long was I healing myself?") I ask

("Around 5 hours,") He answers

(Fuck) I think while I am in shock at how long it was

I shake my head and stop healing myself

"I need to get the gold," I say to myself standing up and looking down at myself

Completely covered in blood

After, an hour of cleaning myself and making sure none of my blood stays

I get out of a camper after a shower that I got out from the gate and make sure to burn the clothes with my blood

After that I start getting all the gold I can get my hands on

("I am so jealous right now") Says Ddraig while I get the gold from here

("Weren't there also weapons made by the elves in the troll cave?") Ddraig asks and I nearly flip out as he says that

("Dammit") I tell him as I continue to get the gold, silver, and precious stones that are here

Hopefully, I can find the Arkenstone

#2 WEEKS LATER#

"FUCKING FINALLY," I scream out as I get the last of the wealth of the Dwarves

("You also got quite the power boost, With everything that you have you got a total 14% boost to everything") Said Ddraig to my utter disappointment

I am literally rich yet this much gold empowered me just a bit

On the plus side, I can use it to cook food now

Provided I first have knowledge of how it is made and once I make one dish myself the Gate can replicate the exact same dish

I am pretty sure that the more valuables I have from this point onward will further affect how the food is cooked

It's still limited compared to what the original can do

I am still rather happy with some of its properties that I unlocked

Now, whenever I put something that has been 'damaged' it will repair it or maintain it provided I have the materials

It's not much but it's a start

("Now, what will you do partner?") Asks Ddraig

("I am thinking of what world to go to next,") I answer as there really isn't anything I want in this world anymore and I am not comfortable spending more time here than I have to doesn't sit well with me

("What about the world called One Piece, you could try to learn this Haki it may prove useful,") Ddraig suggests after awhile

("No, I don't think so. I already have magic, chakra, and my draconic abilities to improve upon, not to mention the Boosted Gear. I already have too much on my plate right now,") I tell him

("How about using that Dragon Sword of yours,") He suggests and I freeze at that

I bring it out and unsheath the blade and look at it for a bit

I sigh as I put it back in the Gate

("Oh well, which world are you considering?") He asks and I sigh again

I sit down and think about it

DXD maybe to learn their version of Senjutsu, and get my hands on both Blade Blacksmith and Sword Birth

Fate, for the chance of getting access to the Root

Elder Scrolls, to get magical artifacts, learn more about being Dragonborn and of course learn more about magic, potions, and smithing

One Punch Man, to learn martial arts from Bang

One Piece, more gold, and quite possibly learn how to use Haki, also live out my childhood dream of being a captain of my own ship

Fairy Tail, for Dragon and God slayer's magic, and also possibly look for a way to get the Arc Of Embodiment magic. Also, Erza showed that in her world they sell pretty ok, magical equipment

Lord Of The Rings/Hobbit, for the New Ring made by Talion, and some elven weapons but I don't have that option anymore

Naruto, learn more about Chakra, Senjutsu, and Fuinjutsu, and possibly seal the Shinju's stump into me and hope I get something out of it

Overlord(Anime), for world items and magic

Harry Potter, learning about magic specifically the killing curse, and potions

RWBY, this one I am considering due to me wanting to awaken my aura and see if there is anything special about my dragon soul

MHA, not very interested, as I don't have a quirk, although, I could try to get One for All, but it seems very unlikely

PJO, this one is rather mixed as while I could try to go under the radar, knowing how stuff works around those that are 'unique' will undoubtedly draw attention due to me being vastly different

Witcher, getting some weapons and armor that is possible to be made in the game and use them for myself

Limitless (2011) NZT pill or just a vacation world

("You should probably go to the world of RWBY,") Ddraig suggests

("Why,") I ask him

("It will be incredibly useful to have this Aura since there are little to no downsides. I mean it will attract these creatures called Grim but, you can probably use it to learn how. But, in return, you get a somewhat permanent shield, a boost in your healing, and from what I've seen this world may help you learn how to fight. Not to mention, the special ability that comes with having your Aura unlocked,") He explains and I have to agree with him on a lot of points

Aura will be incredibly useful just for the healing it grants but it can also make someone slightly stronger as well

Also, I am hoping that it won't be as tedious or expansive as my other stuff as even this is cutting a bit to close

("Well, I know what world I am going in a few days,") I tell Ddraig before getting everything back inside the Gate and taking off to my universe(Dawn Of The Dead 2019) to rest for a few days and think of some plans with Ddraig
