5 Awakening

As the two boys arrive, they spot a large mansion filled with statues and plants the shape of animals along with a fountain standing tall in the middle of the large piece of land. Entering the building, Kong Bo welcomes the two boys into a room made specifically for Kong Bo to research monsters.

Ye Qin looked around and saw piles and piles of research papers laying all over the place along with withered leftover materials here and there. Walking into another room, he noticed large chambers filled up with G Liquid.

G liquid came into existence during the very first era of monster tamers, the mysterious liquid rained down on the planet and took over a large amount of fresh water. Many believed that by using this liquid, the chances of evolution were much greater as it mysteriously appeared along with the monsters from the other plane.

Kong Bo lightly tapped Ye Qin's shoulders as he said "So, I take it that you're ready? Tell me when you want to use these chambers."

Ye Qin had a puzzled look on his face making Kong Bo ask "Why the puzzled look?". Ye Qin then replied, "Who said I was going to use these?"

Kong Bo replied "Huh? How else do you expect to evolve your monster?". Ye Qin sighed and said "How? With pots, of course, large ones."

"What!? You want to evolve your monster using a friggin pot? This isn't a wuxia novel you know!" Kong Bo didn't know whether to laugh or cry hearing that.

"Yea? That's what I did last time, I'm quite familiar with it." Ye Qin replied.

"..."

"Then let me get someone to buy a pot for you." Kong Bo said. "Make it two." Ye Qin said.

After placing two large pots both being five meters in radius and almost two meters in height over a fire, Ye Qin put in twenty liters of water in both and waited for it to boil as Kong Bo and Wang Tao stood behind him and watched.

Pop! Pop!

Once the water was boiled up to a certain point, Ye Qin called his two Koi's out at once.

Woosh! Woosh!

With two flashes of Gold and Silver light, two monsters arrived at the same time and both entered a pot each. "This boy.. Two monsters… This familiar aura, it can't be can it?" Kong Bo said.

"What can't it be?" Wang Tao asked the old man. "It's nothing. Just an old man babbling nonsense." Kong Bo replied as the two continued watching'

Ye Qin then heightened his concentration as he grabbed two bags of materials and separated the ingredients into four piles. He then threw in the ingredients needed to increase the grade of both monsters to [Uncommon] at the same time using both hands one for each pot, once this was done, he stepped back and waited for two hours for the process to finish as he placed a lid over the pots.

Two hours later, he opened both pots as two large Koi jumped out at the same time giving off a slight pressure to its surroundings. The three looked at the two koi that grew in size as Kong Bo nodded and praised Ye Qin. Shortly afterward, he emptied out the pots then repeated the process of boiling water and making his koi's jump in.

After waiting another 10 or so minutes, Ye Qin threw in the raw gold that was refined into powder along with the silver that was also made into powder into the two pots. Afterward, he threw in the other ingredients besides the monster cores and waited for 10 minutes before finally throwing the monster cores into each pot respectively.

Placing a lid over both pots, Ye Qin watched the fire and made sure they didn't get put out or grew too strong which may result in failure or affect the evolution.

After focusing for another two hours, Ye Qin grew tired as sweat dripped down soaking his uniform. Taking off his jacket and pulling up his sleeves, the trio heard the earth-shattering cries of dragons from the pots.

Roar! Roar!

The monsters of both Wang Tao and Kong Bo in another dimension felt the pressure of newly born dragons and both begun prostrating as if they are welcoming the arrival of the emperor. Not only that, but dark clouds also gathered around the mansion and expanded over a fifty km area while gold and lilver lights exploded from within the pot and out into the sky affecting the minds of both humans and monsters in the area.

Many top breeders and tamers feeling this pressure looked outside and noticed the golden and silver lights gathered around a single place. A certain man turned and said, "Go find out the source of this phenomenon."

"Yes sir." someone replied as they left the room.

Back inside the mansion, the two large pots shattered into thousands of shards as two dragons took the place of the pots almost filling up the space of the entire room. The Golden Dragon appeared to be in the form of a Qiulong a type of eastern dragon known to be the greatest of the eastern dragons whilst the Silver Dragon had the appearance of a Yinglong said to be the oldest of the eastern dragons whilst being the only dragons with wings.

Though they had just evolved, their previous size paled in comparison to their current forms. Both dragons were over ten meters in length whilst the silver dragon's wings were over five meters in length.

The appearance of two dragons at once shook Wang Tao and Kong Bo to the core as they both fell on their butt with their jaws dropped to the ground, Ye Qin however was calm as he shouted internally "I knew it! They really became dragons! Now I won't be looked down upon and be known as trash."

After another ten minutes of being shaken, Kong Bo finally stood up with a small amount of energy and said "This… I thought that I had imagined it. To think that it would be real! That's not even the best part! There are two of them! Ye Qin your future is limitless! No wonder you declined being a Monster Breeder, with these you can become the leader of your generation! No in fact you will!"

"This is a literal representation of a fish leaping over the gate!" Kong Bo continued.

Wang Tao similarly shouted "So this is the secret you told me. I can't believe it! My dad will agree for sure!"

After the two were done being shaken, the two dragons coiled moved around the room then placed their heads respectively under Ye Qin's two hands before turning back into Koi and disappearing into the other plane.

Even when the two dragons returned to the other plane, the dark clouds still hadn't completely dispersed. Ye Qin turned around to look at Kong Bo and Wang Tao who were still shocked with their mouths gasped open and smiled.

Leaving the mess behind, Ye Qin starts walking out the door then paused and said, "Fatty aren't you coming?"

Wang Tao suddenly snapped out of it and replied "Ah? Ah of course!" as he followed his boss out the door. The two boys waited for the Wang Family's driver for a while before getting into the car and went directly to Wang Tao's house.

Stepping out of the car, the two boys went inside the three-story high mansion. Inside the house, Wang Tao's mother welcomed her son back home then noticed Ye Qin behind him. "Nephew Ye, will you be staying for dinner?" Mother Wang asked.

"I will, thanks for having me." Ye Qin bowed and replied politely as the two boys walked upstairs to Wang Tao's room. As they walked, they walked by the living room where Wang Tao's father sat and read the newspaper whilst Wang Tao's elder sister wore loose clothing and lied down sloppily and watched the tv.

"Hey dad, I'm back. I brought my boss with me too, we need to talk to you privately later." Wang Tao said.

"Oh, staying for dinner?" Wang Tao's father asked Ye Qin.

"Thanks for having me, Uncle Wang." Ye Qin said as the two boys kept walking and finally arrived at the staircase and got up.

Once they got to Wang Tao's room, the two boys put their bags and jackets down whilst Wang Tao went to change, Ye Qin focused his mind into his Monster Sea.

Focusing for a few moments, Ye Qin saw a large space and arrived at the seven beams of light. Seeing two lights, in particular, shining brighter than the others, he knew that the lights belonged to the Gold and Silver dragons respectively.

"I'll need to gather the materials for the other five during this journey to the Abandoned lands, this month's allowance isn't enough to buy the necessities. Though the current two are more than enough to get far into the final exams." Ye Qin thought.

Once Wang Tao finished changing, he called out his Blackgold Python Tiger and let it lay on his bed whilst the two boys chatted.

Ye Qin looked at the python tiger and thought, "Since my dragons can shrink maybe Fatty Tao's cat can too?". Thinking this, he stood up and poked the tiger in between its forehead lightly.

Woosh!

As if the tiger knew what Ye Qin thought, with a light poke the tiger became encompassed by a golden cloud before shrinking into a cub-sized tiger though with the same appearance.

Wang Tao turned to see his partner shrinking and said "Ah! What happened?!"

"It's fine, it can transform in between both forms freely. Since you are its master you can just speak within its mind." Ye Qin replied.

"Oh, so it's the same as your dragons turning back into a koi, I see you scared me for a second there." Fatty Tao said as he wiped the sweat off his forehead.

After dinner, the two boys went into Wang Tao's father's study and sat down across from the latter. Before his father could say anything, Wang Tao said "Dad we want to take a leave of absence from school and need two passes to go to the Abandoned Lands."

Hearing this Wang Tao's father's mouth twitched and replied "You want a what?"

"You didn't hear wrong, today boss evolved his monster! If you see it now you might even sh*t your pants!" Wang Tao said excitedly with a calm face.

Ye Qin nodded as he stood up and called his gold koi out.

Woosh!

A golden koi danced in the air elegantly as it gave off a slightly fierce aura, Wang Tao's father noticed a change in the koi and asked "It evolved but… Can it fight even then? I mean sure it can fly but.."

Suddenly the koi flew to the largest area in the room and with a puff of smoke, the small koi's body expanded in an instant stretching to a length of 10 meters! Slowly, it's four claws appeared along with its large body, then finally it's head

Roar!

The golden Qiulong roared lightly however it still frightened Wang Tao's father making him fall off his chair. Seeing this the two boys smirked as Wang Tao's father slowly shouted "Wha? How can this be? A fish turning into a dragon?? This is unheard of!"

Luckily the study room had great sound insulation keeping the noise contained solely within the room. The golden Qiulong then shrunk into a 3-meter long dragon then flew downward and coiled around Ye Qin's body and rubbed its head against his face.

"Hahaha." Ye Qin laughed

"So, can we get a pass now?" Ye Qin asked

"Uh… Even if I allow the two of you to go, I'll still need to hire a bodyguard to go along with you." Wang Tao's father replied

"Dad, I'm telling you we don't need one. Just the two of us are enough, we won't venture outside of the allowed zone, besides boss still hasn't shown you his true strength." Wang Tao said.

"What? What do you mean by that?" Father Wang couldn't help but ask.

"Well, you see.." Ye Qin said as a silver flash of light appears and another koi danced in the air.

Seeing this, father Wang said slowly "What? Another one? Wait.. don't tell me!"

Woosh!

The silver koi transformed into a Yinglong in its full form before similarly shrinking and coiled around Ye Qin. "What in the heavens?!" Father Wang shouted.

"Hehe, I told you so." Wang Tao said.

"..."

Father Wang stared at Ye Qin and the two dragons for a while before getting up and wiped the dust off before calmly saying "Ahem ahem, since I've seen your true strength I'll allow it, as for the passes that will take a bit of time since you're still in school."

Hearing this the two boys looked at each other and nodded, as Ye Qin left the Wang's home, he went home and brushed his teeth before lying down on his bed and used his smartwatch as he fell into a slumber.
