Galen's mana surged as he broke through, a purple hue—invisible to Breydan, who couldn't perceive mana—lingered on his body. His rank now tier seven, one rank below dragonic.
Breydan, oblivious to the change in the shadow wolf, charged at it. He brought down his aura-infused claymore at the seemingly unmoving shadow wolf.
Clang! The claymore hit solid ground as Galen was no longer there; his figure now behind the warrior.
Sensing imminent danger, Breydan turned around, a blackened claw meeting his left eye.
"Ahhh!" With a painful cry, he erupted his aura, pushing Galen away.
Galen moved a couple of meters from the warrior, his dark eyes reflecting the transparent red aura with a tinge of silver surrounding Breydan.
<My fatigue is gone; I can see things clearly,> Galen thought, examining his core and body.
He had become stronger, his speed and dark energy now three times what he had previously.
