Kasra Utsumi is a first year Limiter at West Genetics Academy, whose Freezing capability and amount of stigmata are unmatched in the school. However, it is this very same ability that fuels his distorted sense of loneliness and separation. [Cover art is various depictions of Kasra]
"Is that him..?"
"Yeah…"
"I was there at the fight, he openly disobeyed a senior Pandora…"
"…Hes going to be in for a rough time at school…"
"How did he even cast a Freezing field, though? He hasn't even been here long enough to have a partner to give him a stigmata..?"
"Yeah, that's a good question…"
Kasra sat at his desk, which was front and center of the classroom.
The president released him to go about the rest of the school day, after a short lecture.
He looked down at the surface of his desk, his hair blocking his face from everyone curious to sneak a closer look at him.
It was difficult to think about anything over their intentionally obvious gossip.
Clutching at the seams of his pants, his nails dug into his legs.
Kasra worried about how they were questioning how he could cast a Freezing field.
Having anyone know how would have him be the target of intense questioning, in the very near future.
Discreetly chittering his teeth, he realized how stupid he was, thinking about how he might have slightly overreacted to the Pandora earlier today.
"Tch..! Tch!"
His feet quietly thumped and his knees quaked.
"Alright everyone, you can shut up now."
Instantly breaking him away from his despair, he looked up to see the woman beind the domineering voice.
She had dark red hair that was violently pulled back into a ponytail, that reached down to her tailbone.
And sharply pointed green eyes, that rested behind rectangular glasses.
"Im Carian Quinn. Miss Quinn. Do with that what you will."
Her attitude got the class to instantly correct themselves, becoming attentive and quiet.
However, some limiters were in the back, whispering.
"…Dude, what the hell does that mean..?"
"..Maybe she likes them young?"
To Kasra's misfortune of sitting in the very front row of the seats, he caught her attention immediately.
Pointing at him, she beckoned with her finger for him to stand up.
"Aint you the one who caused that scene this morning?"
Kasra stood upright, his arms rigidly at his sides.
Showing the most respect he could, to try and improve everyones view of him, he nodded his head silently.
After his answer, spoke to the whole class.
Pointing at him, she fanned her head across the room, saying:
"If I wanted anyone to make me a misses from this lot, it would probably have to be him."
Kasra heard some people behind him giggling.
The rest of the day didn't go much better, either.
When he would walk the halls between classes, the gazes of people stung him. The sheepish behavior that he displayed now was a stark contrast to his combative attitude earlier that morning. As the day progressed, he noticed something new, as well.
Whether he was in the classroom, halls, or even the bathroom peopld would see him and refer to him as the "Unreachable Prince."
