I was able to become more proficient as the days went by, and Solis was experiencing great growth as well. He was an anomaly, but he wasn't one that surpassed all reasoning. If I were to describe him he would be only be on the level of the girl from Group 1 in the Test Zone. He wasn't unbelievable.
Finally, the day arrived. The day of the Push. Clyde hadn't contacted me since the last time, so I was getting a little nervous as to what was supposed to happen. I wasn't even sure what my role was going to be, or where the other people from the squad were.
"George, I think it's the end of our partnership. We really didn't get to do anything with each other, but I gained a lot."
From out of nowhere, Solis came out and said that.
"Solis, what do you think you're doing? I lost my sword because of you, and you think you can just leave?"
I gave him a shady smile.
