Hey kachi, that's my seat stand up a voice ordered.

Kachi slowly looked up from her doodling sketch book to the owner of the voice. Snorting beneath her breath she matched his glare with one of her own.

Patrick or wherever you call yourself, my name is ka- chi , ka - chi why is that so difficult for you.

Unfortunately I can't pronounce that, it's too difficult.

Then don't call me at all, call me nothing.

Patrick smirked, fine by me now miss "nothing " Kindly stand up from my seat.

Kachi seethed in anger, I won't tolerate your insults if you dare refer to me as nothing . You would see the other side of me today and trust me it's horrible.

Ow am so scared right now, he mocked why are you upset you said I should call you nothing few seconds ago.

Why am I surprised? She questioned herself, unfortunately your brain is too small to understand I meant that theoretically.

Hey don't insult me, Patrick muttered looking over her.

Oh really kachi folded her hands across her breast, you don't like insults yet you serve it to others? So pathetic.

Sweetheart I don't want to exchange words with you, kindly get up.

The name is KACHI and your name is not inscribed on this seat, gosh leave me alone this morning what have I done to you?

I want to chat with jack during physics class, that's why I want to seat here and what happened to the front rolls, go seat there like a good girl.

You should have come a bit earlier if you wanted , sorry am not standing up from this seat till the lecture is over kachi said focusing her attention back to her doodles.

She won't allow anyone to bully her in this class, her parents never raised her to be a pushover. This Patrick boy , kachi peeked at him a little and he was glaring at her like he wanted to kill her. She was on her own thinking of ways to earn more funds and better her family's life and he came with his wahala.

Kachi has been avoiding any form of confrontation with anyone but this boy clearly had something against her, because she had noticed him always smirking at her whenever sheshe went past his direction and it always irked her to no ends.

He tugged at her long cornrows during lectures and pretendes he isn't guilty and once when she was walking past the hallway he had thrown a ball directy at her and claimed it was an accident, while laughing with the jerks he called friends and many more. She had kept quiet in all these situations and tried to ignore him and his silly tactics but ordering her to stand up from a seat? that was below the belt and won't be accepted by her. If he had in any way polite as first, she might have considered him but no the Buffalo of a young boy was claiming the chair was his birthright.

Honey you are testing my patience, in case you have forgotten this isn't your country and things are done differently.

Well people like you would never me forget for a minute that I am In a foreign land, but that doesn't give you the right to look down on me.

Tsk Patrick paced around her, people were trooping in so he tried to gain a rein on his anger.

You are as tiny as your little country and I can snap you both into two.

Try it and if you had listened a tiniest bit at geography class, you would know that nigeria is one of the country in the world that has the highest population.

Surprise flashed through his eyes, but he quickly masked it carefully. Whatever but I thought Nigeria was a continet? He asked genuinely confused.

Kachi face palmed herself, she wondered how they went from fighting over a seat to her teaching him about Nigeria.

Africa is a continet !!dumbass and nigeria is a country inside Africa she said slowly, as though she was explaining to a two year old.

Oh right , I don't really care he muttered embarrassed at himself. For the last time get up.

Ahha I hate to sound like a broken record, and am gonna say it for the last time too Patrick my answer remains No!!

You wouldn't dare, she warned turning into a little tigress.

Aw you really looo cute when angry, but unfortunately I can't watch he said moving towards her to shove her up himself but quick hands stalled his movement.

Patrick stared up ,to know who had the effontry to cage his hands, his eyes narrowed and a sweat broke out in his back when two cold pair of eyes stared back at him.

The eyes that stared back at Patrick was so piercing that he had to look away for a moment. Hey bro you are early today he said in the way of greeting.

What the hell are you trying to do, beat a girl? Jack questioned ignoring his handshake.

Patrick swallowed hard, he hadn't seen him walk into the class with ayra he was engrossed with the little tigress Infront of him spitting fire.

No man I wasn't touching her, not the way you implied he said in his defense.

That's a lie, kachi stated plainly he threatened to violently move me if I don't stand from my seating position.

Don't misqoute me, I didn't use the word " Violence " You invented it yourself I tried to explain to you that this is normally my seating posting, but you are just being difficult.

Ayra stared at kachi then at Patrick surprised at the morning drama, she had never seen Patrick talk so much at a time the only thing he was ever interested in was football. And kachi looked beautiful as ever she thought her eyes returning back to her, she had packed her lovely hair In two parts with cute little ribbons and scrunchies to beautify them. Her eyebrows were thick and brushed to perfection, she had a little blush on her checks and her brown skin gleamed and shined in the morning sun.

Kachi felt eyes on her so she looked back at ayra who quickly removed her eyes, embarrassed she had caught her starring. But the more surprising of it all, was jack was supporting her against his friend ayra didn't know the what the bone of contention was but one thing she could vouch for was kachi knew how to make someone feel guilty for the smallest things.

It irked ayra to no end that he was defending kachi, was he blinded by her beauty? She questioned feeling het stomach fall. Ayra stop being petty, she scolded herself.

Mr Williams came inside the class, so ayra quickly removed her hands from the tight clasp of jacks and fled to her chair . Taking out her notebook and a ballpen for jotting, she glanced at her side and smiled widely at Ella, strange she was late today thinking nothing about it she turned her head to peek at jack but he wasn't looking at her direction.

In fact he was seating next to kachi and smiling at something she said, ayra turned and faced the teacher with a pit feeling at the bottom of her.

Ayra tried her possible best not to look back again, but she desperately wanted to stare and know if they were still conversing. This was the time she needed Ella because her head was really itching to turn,but she won't give in to that urge.

She moved her seat quietly closer to Ella and tapped her gently on the arm.

Hey why is your chair so close to mine? Ella questioned with clenched teeth.

Sshhh I need you to do something for me.

Ella's ears peeked up,what's that?

Ayra scratched her ears,she didn't want to seem clingy but she wanted to know if they were still laughing for her peace of mind.

Ayra say something,don't keep me in suspense she muttered impatiently.

Calm down it's not a big deal,just stylishly look back and tell me who Jack is smileing at she said wearing a non readable expression.

Don't ask Ella just do as I say,she said with a straight face as the teacher looked at her.

Okay okay am doing it,ella turned and faced front again.

What did you see? Ayra asked feeling like a private agent.

Nothing Ella said dryly disappointed,anytime ayra spoke to her during lesson period it was for a juicy gist,she didn't understand why ayra was suddenly spying on jack.

What do you mean nothing? Who is he talking with?

No - she almost concluded her statement but the teachers eyes suddenly locked on her lips.

Miss Ella,Mr Williams started plainly do you want to share anything with the class?

No not all sir ,she replied with lowered eyes.

Then do well to remain quite till the end of the class.

Yes sir,she said nodding her head and narrowing her eyes at ayra blaming her for getting caught.

Yeah it's nothing,jack isn't talking to anyone or smiling in fact he was staring at your head.

Really? She asked hating herself for blushing easily.

She didn't realize that it was affecting her so much,just cus he was smiling at another girl Wait was she jealous? She thought with a creased forehead no not all, she was merely surprised that was it.

Her heart at peace, she concentrated squarely on the lesson but the announcement at the end of the class, had her groaning internally.

No no she really had a bad feeling about this, she thought lowering her head on her desk.
