Chapter 22 : I Rejected Him
After several weeks, everything about the missing princess being found became old news and the media moved on to more exciting topics. I was happy to find my schedule changed over from meeting the press to studying the kingdom.
That is how I learned that being a princess was far from a fairytale. Even princesses have to go to school. The only upside was that my tutor came to me.
“I received your transcripts from high school,” the tutor informed me when we first met in the palace library.
She gave me a look like she wasn't very impressed.
“Although, you do seem to have improved over the last several weeks.”
“Thank you,” I responded, trying not to feel embarrassed at her assessment as Rex was still standing within earshot just at the door. From any angle, he looked like a model rather than a bodyguard.
