Chapter 34: A Party Of Three

Sasha joining us fulfilled the minimum requirement of creating a party/team. All that is left is to ask permission to form the party and follow a few procedures.

"Sasha, are you free now?"

"Yeah, I am."

Now then we will do that…. Ahhhh….

"But before, Sasha, here he who is here with us. His name is Asher, one of our members." I introduced Ash to Sasha.

"And Ash, she is Sasha, my classmate and also our newest member." So did introduce Sasha to Ash.

They greeted each other, and now,

"Well then, guys, let us go meet one of the professors and officially create our party now."

"Do you know any one of them personally?" Ash asked me.

"Yeah, I do," I replied to him.

We all reached that room, and I knocked on the door.

*Tak* *Tak*

"Come in." We heard.

I opened the door and entered,

"Good afternoon, Instruc – I mean Professor Linnea."

"Oh, it's you Art, come in, come in, and please take a seat."

"Good afternoon, Professor." Both Ash and Sasha greeted Professor Linnea.

"A very Good afternoon, Children."

We entered the room and took a seat, and also Professor Linnea served us herbal tea.

"So, how you been, Art?" She asked me.

"I have been doing, ma'am. How about you?"

"I, too, have been doing good." She said with her usual smile on her face.

"So, what makes you come in here?" She asked me.

"I am creating my own party, so I want the permission to do so."

"Creating your own party?" She questioned in confusion.

"Yeah, I want to create my own party."

"But you could have easily joined Red Rose or Blue Rose or any other leading team with your skill level and, you still want to create your party?"

"Maybe but, I still want to create my own party with these two here with me."

"Is that so? Then I will allow, but before that, I want to know your reasons to create your own party?"

"My reason to create my own party is so that I can win 'Festivity of Coming,' and also get 'Rankers' title."

"That won't be an easy thing. Are you aware of that?" Prof. Linnea asked me.

"Yes, I am aware of that…. But I am willing to do so. I am determined to win it."

Prof. Linnea sighed and took a sip from her cup.

"Arturo, what do you mean by winning 'Festivity of Coming?' and what is 'Rankers' title?" Sasha asked me.

"Ah…Well, you see, the top three parties or teams from 'Festivity of Coming' will receive a title called 'Rankers,' and everyone from those top three teams will receive it. Now receiving this title will give some special privileges like access to some rooms, special libraries, and all."

"….. But the 'Rankers' title that those top three teams receive will be Beta Rankers. We have a ranking system in our academy, namely Alpha Rankers and Beta Rankers. Now Alpha rankers are the top and the strongest students of the academy and also one with the most privileged among the students."

"And Art wants to not only win the 'Festivity of Coming' but also compete for 'Rankers' title." Prof. Linnea mentioned.

"Yes, that's right."

"Hoo…. Fine, I will allow you to create your party but, I also need their consent. So, Art could please wait outside because I want to talk to them." She spoke.

"Hmm, Fine, I will be waiting outside," I replied, and without wasting any of the time, I left the room.

She is right. What Prof. Linnea said was correct. It's not at all easy, and I am also aware of that. After all, I am not just competing for Beta Rankers but also for the Alpha Rankers' title, and this was never going to be easy right from the start.

But…. At least it's not impossible, and also, I have them, but it all depends on their answers. Are they willing to follow me on this difficult road, or will they leave me…?

Linnea's POV:

"Hoo…. Fine, I will allow you to create your party but, I also need their consent. So, Art could please wait outside because I want to talk to them."

"Hmm, Fine, I will be waiting outside." Saying that, Art left the room and waited outside.

"Your good names?"

"My self Sasha Keliths."

"My self Asher Bluford."

"Okay then, student Sasha and student Asher, are you both willing to join his party knowing his goals and what he intends to do? Are you both ready to face the challenges that are about to come after joining his party?"

For a few seconds, none of them said a single thing, but then the girl Sasha spoke,

"To be honest, I just joined his party today; not only joined the party today, but I also met him today in the class. But I am willing to join his party, and I am also willing stand by his side."

"It's the same for me too, Professor. I am willing to join his party, and also, he has promised me something, so until he doesn't fulfill that, I am not leaving him."

"I see, so both of you are willing to join him. That's good to hear. And also, you can trust his skills and his personality."

"Yes, Professor," both of them said simultaneously.

"Could any one of you call Art in here?"

"I will do that," saying that the boy, Asher went to call Art back.

Forming his own party, huh? And willing to win 'Festivity of Coming,' and also compete for 'Rankers' title. This will be an interesting development to see.

Arturo's POV:

It's been more than a minute since I have been waiting outside.

*Sound of door opening*

"Art, you can come inside." Ash opened the door and spoke. I nodded and entered the room.

"You can officially create your party, Art. And they are also willing to join you." Prof. Linnea said with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, Professor Linnea,"

"And also, I am willing to help you one more time since you will be doing something interesting." She said with a smirk on her face.

"Hehe, thank you, I guess?"

Prof. Linnea has given us permission to create our party, and she also said that she will do the paperwork and all. She has been helping me a lot since I have met her.

She also gave us a room for our party and mentioned that it's not big of a room or any special room. It's a room that hasn't been used for more than 10 years now.

It's on the 5th floor, the topmost floor, and we have arrived.

"Let's open it…." I said, and they both nodded.

I opened the door and turned on the lights. And yeah, it was not at all in good shape.' This room looks like an old classroom that one uses now. Well, whatever…

"Alright then, let's clean it up," I sighed and spoke.

After two hours of cleaning, we were finally done. We arranged the things like desks, chairs, shelves, etc., and cleaned the whole, which took the most of the time.

This is all happening is because these guys who are willing to join me,

"Hey, guys, Umm… I – I am grateful to you guys that you are joining my party," I stood up from the chair, bowed, and thanked them, "So, thank you, Sasha and Ash, for joining my party."

"No – No, I should be the grateful one. Even though I am not good, you are still willing to take me into your party." Sasha said.

"Hopefully, you are not forgetting your promise, right?" Ash said.

"Of course not!"

"Good, so then what's the plan now?"

"For today, let's head back to our own rooms and take rest. And from tomorrow, we will start our training."

"Arturo, umm… what will our training be?" Sasha asked me.

"It's simple – overcoming our weakness is our first step. I will let you know what we are going to do specifically."

And so today we officially formed our party, and there's a lot of things I – we need to do. It's just the beginning.
