Night Of Revival

–Sunset–

The day comes to an end and the night slowly overcomes the setting sun. Julie lay unconscious in the doorway of the garage. Where the upper side is more into the outside of the garage while her legs are inside.

She awakens. Crimson red eyes and pitch black pupils. She set up immediately looking left to right.

"Huh? What happened? Where's the Tesla? Jessica!? Manual!?" Julie was unaware of what happened to her. She continued to walk around the garage and driveway to see if she can find the electric vehicle.

"Well at least they escaped. Thank God. I hope they are all right."

As she stood in the middle of the driveway, she could see that the rest of the monsters that were once people, were crowded up in the street. Julie worked out on the sidewalk near the street and saw that there were tire tracks burned into the driveway that led into the street. Those tire marks were still going down the street. Down that street was the neighborhood park. And coming from that direction in the sky was a trail of tick black smoke.

Julie has been trying to move and focus on getting herself up ever since you woke up. But now and her gosh you felt a horrible sense of dread and worry coming upon her as she saw that trailer smoke. Her gut is telling her to "go there", Not in a hunger sense, but in a way that she needed to go there like something was waiting there. That needs her help.

Julie, trust their gut following it and hoping it isn't too horrible.

–Night–

That's the sun fully sits behind the horizon, the night overcomes the sky and the moon shines. Julie felt stronger, and more energetic as she lightly jogged. As the night became darker, her vision became clearer. Before she couldn't see that well as the sun was very bright even though it was setting, But now she can see more clearly of the neighborhood and the Star night sky. Everything was more clear and better as it was during the day. Her light jog slowly turned into a Sprint. Running without breaking a sweat.

Now passing the intersection of 48th Street and Gilbert, Rd. The park was a clear view, past the few abandoned cars left on the side of the road.

*BANG!*

She gasp, surprised by the loud piercing sound of a shotgun fired, coming from the park. Passing the abandoned cars on the side of the street. She makes her way to the steepening hillside as It was in the middle of a T-round intersection. In the middle of the intersection there was a ruined truck that had crashed in front, with the hood popped up in a crumple. In the front of it we're tire marks that we're leading down the hillside and into the park. And that led to a Tesla flipped upside down.

Next to the Tesla with crowd of people that were surrounding the Tesla but a few of them were behind one single person that was holding a shotgun. This muscular man was looming on top of a girl that was familiar.

Julia knew and recognized who that girl was. And Jessica, I did immediately and- towards the muscular man. And a powerful sprint. She rushed the man and jumped onto his back, and unconsciously bit his neck.

*CRUNCH!*

*BANG!*

"AHHHHHH

The man misses shot and shot beside Jessica on the grass area. Julie, doug her teeth into Frank's neck, as blood gushes from the bite. The pain was so great, Frank fainted and lost his balance and fell from the weight of Julie and she was on his back. Handed grandma that thud Julie got up from underneath Frank and raced to Jessica.

"Jessica, sweetie!!! Say something, say something!?" She kneel down next to her, lifting Jessica's head up. And seeing from her waist that there is a open hole in her clothes as it was ripped off earlier. "What did they do to you!? Jessica Please!?" Julie begins to cry as tears leak down.

"Muuuuuu, muuum ieeeees That you?" Is what Jessica could say in her state of drifting back and forth, from unconscious and fully conscious.

"JESSICA! Thank you, thank you, thank you God!" Julie hug your daughter tightly to make sure that she is there with her, real.

During the commotion as Frank was bitten, he lies there passed out from his bite wound. In that same commotion, a girl with red hair was screaming to her love being attacked by a monster she saw. "FRANK!!!"

After her ear piercing shrink, they yells from her group were coming from behind her.

"S**t, We don't have time. They're coming." Ronnie said, as he's crawling out of the Tesla car.

"Too late, they're already here!" Cedric respond with a warning, as there was a group of monsters were slowly approaching them.

The red hair lady filter and knees right next to Frank, and cried that her loving husband has known been bitten by a monster like them. The grief and despair overwhelmed her. She didn't move. She didn't listen to anything. Her whole world collapsed around her as she was focusing on the lifeless eyes of her husband.

"Melissa! We got to get out of here." Ronnie said, but he finally realized that Frank was bitten and lying down unconscious on the ground. " Oh my god!? Melissa…" Ronnie was I lost the words he Don't know what to say at first. But he spoke the words that Frank would say to him when he was in this situation as well. " Ever seen dies. Everything goes away eventually but you are still here." He grab hold of Melissas shoulder. " He was trying to protect you. Do you want him to die, and leave his efforts meaningless!"

Melissa's red hair waved as the wind began to pick up, and blow towards Jessica. Melissa looked up and saw her. The woman that bit her husband. Was on her knees and crying next to their loved one, just like her. Being a human being and not like the monsters that would do something like this. If a human being could do this, she thought. Then why the hell will they even be human. Then they are a true monster. Her thoughts began to whirl around like some kind of twister as her realization began to morph into rage. She knew who killed her husband. And they were right in front of her defenseless and in the same state as her, she thought. Melissa's face twisted for sourceful, to a serious raging frown.

Melissa grabs the shotgun from Frank's hands and points it at Julie. Her eyes wide and furious vengeance post a trigger.

*BANG!*

Julie is hit but a slug as she is pushed to the ground. Julie, just a moment ago. Was glad that her daughter is alive and well and when you got there is still hope for them. But immediately she push by an explosive force that shredded her left shoulder. The explosive force of the shotgun pushed her to the ground. Reacting from said shot, She got up immediately on her feet and looked at who shot her.

"S**t! Melissa, we got to go, You can't stay here!" Ronnie tried to convince her but Melissa kept on staring with a determined furious look. "F**k! Fine, I'm sorry I can't save you from yourself. Goodbye." Ronnie then turned around and was introduced by a group of monsters approaching.

There, next to a Tesla smoking on the green clear Park grass, two women stood and stared at each other, both were seriously angry but for different reasons. Melissa pumped the shotgun and stared fearlessly with blood boiling vengeance, and Julie stood blakes bend nearly crouching and with her arms ready to grab, and with eyes of a monster. Build a stalemate that could be broken by one movement. Julie's eyes pulsated, as her persona monster took over her, as her human self let be controlled with anger and hunger.

Melissa Saw this changing her eyes and she pulled the trigger to the shotgun.

*BANG!*

With an instant move. Julie jumps and dive to the left of her, avoiding the shotgun projectile. On all fours she dashed towards Melissa, like an approaching tiger closing in with their prey.

Melissa reacts immediately as Julie closes into her, She jumps and backs up as quick as she can and pumped the shotgun immediately. Keeping the barrel towards Julie, She goes for another shot.

*BANG!*

Julie repeats her maneuvers and dove out of the way. The shotgun's projectile misses and Melissa, pumps another shotgun and keeps on trying to shoot Jessica.

*BANG! Pump! BANG! Pump! BANG! Pump! BANG!*

Over and over, Julie and Melissa's duel repeated this process. Julie repeats, her zigzag maneuvers of avoiding Melissa attempted shots. But soon Melissa's luck will run out.

*BANG! Pump! BANG! Pump! CLICK!*

The shotgun clicked empty, Melissa mindless rage vanished the moment she heard the click, in fear overwhelmed her. Julie notices, and goes with a straight attack hopping onto Melissa.

"AHHHHHH!"

Melissa's ear piercing screams what was left before Julie dug her teeth into her neck.

"AHHHHH-AK-AK! GAR-GAR-GER-GER!"

Melissa screams, turning to gargling her own blood. With her last attempt both a few moments she had left of living, she scratched Jessica's bareback, leaving 5 scratch marks that were bleeding.

The rest of the group that Frank and Melissa were with, during this. They were overrun by the monsters. Two of them were surrounded and were eaten alive. While Ronnie and Cedric successfully retreated, living for the next day.

Melissa fell into unconsciousness from the pain of Julie biting into her neck. Julie herself, stood up standing before. Melissa, smiling grinning with blood soaking lips. Her persona monster husband fed and Julie human self resurfaced. That's when her hunger and rage turned to regret and sorrow as she realized that she had killed two human beings that were just trying to survive.

She backed away from Melissa and ran towards Jessica as a hoard of monsters were surrounding her but not eating her. They just walked around her like if she were some kind of object in their way and they just went around her. They did the same thing for Jessica as they move around her. Similar to like a water current going around a large rock in the middle of the stream.

Julie once again, sat on her knees next to Jessica. Lifting her head on to her lap sitting there. Waiting for Jessica to wake up. To Julie, she doesn't know what to think of this situation. She's horrified but at the same time trying to push aside everything Horrifying to keep conscious to prevent her from fainting right there and then but she couldn't. Here the enormous senses of a mother overwhelmed that and she sat there. Waiting.

But until later she got up and carried Jessica from the Tesla wreckage and massacre. She was walking back home.
