Eyes Of The Dead

–Julie–

—Afternoon—

The Dead Body of Julie was still being eaten by the roaming monsters. Still marching and chewing. She opened her eyes and revealed that they were all Crimson red and pupils pitch black.

She couldn't feel her legs, her arms. Not even her own body. But she can look. Her eyes darted left to right seeing the horror.

"What? What is this? What am I seeing? Oh God!?" She internally gasps. Her thoughts mixed up in a storm of fear, seeing such a horrific mess before her. She wanted to move. But she couldn't feel anything. The more she sat there the more she got used to seeing the horror. From her surroundings, she can see five of these monsters that were once humans, roaming around the dining room she was in. Two of them were on their knees eating her literal guts. She consciously wanted to move but no muscle responded to her. Her literal consciousness was aware of her surroundings, trapped in this coffin of a body of hers.

Internally she hyperventilated, She was so scared of the unknown reason of why she is in this situation. She wants to stop seeing these two things eating her. But she just couldn't.

"MANNY!!! MANUAL!!! JESSICA!!! HELP ME!!!!" She tried to scream, but her cold dead lips didn't even move.

The sounds of the growling and moaning of these monsters that were once humans were crowding up the front entrance. With the rolling over eyes she can see the disturbing amount of them coming in one by one from the front entrance.

This whole day that was once normal what's now a nightmare. Just kind of believe what was going on. She has so much promise and conviction to fulfill just because birthday wish. But now she is here seeing this horror, not knowing if her daughter or husband is alive.

She sat there still being eaten until a figure opened up the door to the living room and there a albino man entered. It was one of the monsters again but strangely his hair was a crimson dark red. It was short like a bowl that was flowing and straight. He wore weird clothing. That was all black, a button-up shirt, and a dark jean jacket with pants that was also black too. But the only thing that wasn't black was the belt that was a bright leather red, buckle metallic gold. And his eyes were the same as the monsters. All crimson red and pupils pitch black.

Her eyes move and follow this albino man in black and hair red. And strange enough after seeing all this horror this was the one thing that looked more strange for her. This man raised his hand up to one of the monsters and they backed away from him as if they were not scared but unconsciously being pushed away like being guided away. The monsters that were eating Julie's body backed away from her and walked away as the albino man in black came close. And his pale lips spoke words that she did not recognize.

"Gelmoree Lelorra, Za'vakino. Za'sa'ziknow Kikikagalo. Lakiee, Tagiee, Deeniee, Thieiee…" She did not understand any word for him except one the last word he said. "Rise." The albino man walked away. And as he was about to enter the hallway, other monsters were moving away from him. We spoke one phrase that wasn't familiar to her and then a monster walked past her vision and he was gone in an instant.

"Wait! What?!" She internally spoke. Confused that a man with such a bizarre look disappeared instantly. "Did he come from the back door?" Julie didn't notice it but she spoke words. It took her a moment to realize as she was speaking. She actually gasped, her eyes opened wide in shock. Her body sat. Hunched on the wall. Her guts and intestines begin to move by themselves. Then She realized that the intestines, the guts were being pulled back into her body by some kind of force. As the guts were able to go back into her stomach and rib cage, the skin on her body began to grow? She was being healed. Regenerating like a reptile.

Her legs had craters of missing chunks of flesh, were regenerated. Her left and right arms were in the same condition, But one of the hands had missing fingers, but regenerated a new one. Her stomach that once had a hole where her guts were spilling out like spaghetti, was now patched up and regenerated so simply. Her head, on the top of her scalp, there was a scraping of marks where the monsters were trying to get to her brain but they weren't able to get through her skull for some reason. The marks of torn skin and ripped hair, regenerate.

Whatever that stranger did to her, She was able to regenerate most of her body, healing her back to what she was before. A normal person. Regaining her body parts and sealing up wounds. After all of this, with everything healed, she would attempt to move again. She tries to focus on her muscles. Trying to feel anything in your hands and her legs and her body. The feeling of trying to move in a body you can't feel, is the closest thing to feeling through a fog. Blinded and hoping that you would stumble upon what you want. Until finally her index finger moved.

"Yes, Progress!" Julie still continues to try to move her body. Trying to remember the feeling of moving again. But underneath all of those memories of moving. For the memories of how she was here in the first place.

Having a normal work day. Picking up her daughter promising her a better birthday. Going back home. Then immediately attacked by a monster of somebody she once knew. Until that pain , the struggle to stay alive in that moment until finally the teeth, the teeth of that monster that attacked her. Dug into her as she bled. She's still struggling even though She was bitten but the more they came as the whole house staff was infected. And she was just crowded up and was eaten by all of them. And her last painful memory as she was feeling multiple bites on her, She saw Jessica walking into the room seeing her being eaten alive.

"Jessica. Manny!" She muttered out those words.

*BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!*

Gunfire was heard from above her. Repeat the shots of gunfire coming from the second floor.

"They must be fighting off the monsters. I need to help them. I need to save them." With that thought, she can now move her body. The strength of her legs came in and she was able to move them.

Gunfire after gunfire. Until the gunfire changed up and it was another gun being fired, but this time it's loud. Bursting wasn't so impactful. It sounded like switching from a shotgun to a pistol. In this process as the multiple gunshots were being fired. Julie was still trying to regain motion into her body. Her hands were moving her arms Were moving more. Then she can even move her legs now. But the biggest challenge is to get up. She can move but does she has the strength to get up. She began the process of raising her legs up. Pushing herself side to side, untime finally, she was able to fall onto the floor with her stomach face down. She didn't use her arms to push up herself. Then move her legs into a bending knee formation. Until finally, she was able to get her foot planted on the floor. Then finally she puts strength into the legs raising herself up then planting the other foot down as well. She can finally stand.

The process of feeling her body was weird. The more she tried to move around the more she was able to feel more. Before she can feel nothing, she felt like she was some kind of disembodied vision floating around in the perspective of a body. And now she's able to feel her old self again. To feel her body again.

This process took time as the gunfire silence up a bit. Julie now standing up. She can hear breaking glass coming from the top floor. And more of the monsters. We're moving outside and upstairs. But strangely enough the monsters weren't going towards the garage. With the drinks you used to walk. She was able to wobble. Then she began to take the first step. Then the second step. Then the third step. The more she concentrating on lifting her legs and quickly planting them, She was able to continue walking but cautiously as she is uncertain that she might fall by losing her balance. She was literally a newborn baby trying to walk.

And she slowly make her way to the garage. She can see one of the monsters March through the door finally breaking through but there is a little bit of them coming through this way. He continue following the monsters into the garage until finally she saw them.

Manual made a desperate dash into the Tesla. Opening and slamming door immediately. As they were more monsters crowding around the vehicle. And from her left side she can see that the garage door was opening and more monsters were coming in.

As the Tesla was starting up and the engine revved up and the car moved... Only for 1 inch before it stopped immediately. As more monsters were crowding up more and more, Julie was worried and wanted to help her husband and her daughter to escape this deadhouse of a nightmare. She make her way walking up towards the car, and seeing inside that Manual was on the touchpad interface pushing and tapping and swiping through different icons. Jessica was just scared. Julie make her way up towards the Tesla. Yes, other monsters were banging on the windows to the point that where they are cracks appearing on the car windows. Julie pull back one of the monsters away from the window. Hoping that it will stop one of them from getting in but as she moved the monster away and now it was just her and her daughter with one sheet of glass separating them.

Her eyes flickered. He pitch black pupils dilated, forming until oval sharply. And the red brightened.

At this moment Julie just stood there. As she saw her daughter still alive living breathing. Her blood her flesh. Is still alive. Those unsurprising thoughts we're popping in her head. By looking at Jessica, Julie began to feel a strong feeling of hunger emerging and taking over her. It was like Julie's own human self was hijacked by this monstrous persona that wanted to take a bite out of Jessica.

Julie lost all control and she busted on the window. Jessica saw this and she May eye contact with Julie, mother and daughter looking at each other. Julie wanted to stop. She didn't want to hurt her daughter but the hunger. The Urge. Every parental sense of not harming or protection was swept the side as this monster is persona of Julie took over her, and hit the window one last time. And quickly bit into Jessica's shoulder ripping through her skin.

Not a moment's notice, the Tesla started up and engine roared, as the car accelerated. Julie was pullrd for a bit but was launched off from being hit by the garage door frame. She lay there unconscious. Unknowing of what Julie did to her daughter.
