CHAPTER 6: Ellesmere

It was night time when Raven and Martha reached them home and with no delay the little girl shut herself into her room without having her dinner for the day in the pretence of being too tired. She match of to bed.

She led down to relax but her thoughts kept wondering to the events that happened earlier and as she thought more about it, her mind was fill with more questions.

KNOCK KNOCK!!! Came the sound of the door and as it opened slowly, pop the head of her nanny. "May I come in, I also bought you some fruits" She smiled after already walking in with a bowl of fruits in hand.

"You already are-," Raven replied unamused, "-And am not hungry."

"Alright, but may we talk," Said the nanny and judging by her tone It could be serious thought Raven. She watched the woman close the door behind her to make a sit beside her bed.

"Is it about what happened in the forest or about not coming of dinner at uncle's request," Question Raven.

"About the forest, we'll talk about dinner later but first what happened? and please leave no details behind,"

Raven narrated everything that happened to her in details to her nanny, from the beginning to the ending but she decided to leave the part about the boy with beautiful eyes, that might have seen her which would be for the best, for now. And when she was done her nanny went mute of a few seconds before she opened her mouth to speak.

"Raven...please don't never go back there again," And when the little girl asked why, she got no quick respond as she saw the woman pondering on her next word. "Did I do nothing wrong?" The girl asked innocently.

"No dear, it just that... that place is far different from our world and it could be very dangerous to go back there, so don't never think about going there again," warned Martha, but the girl didn't heed to the warnings as it only peaked her curiosity. "But tell me first, that place- was it the human kingdom,"

"Yes my dear, and it's not just any kingdom but the kingdom of Ellesmere our greatest enemy,"

Raven's eyes grew wide with shock at was she just heard. Many human kingdom was unknown to the faixy but when it came to the kingdom of Ellesmere, it was a widely known in their history as it is not only a powerful nation but it was also the very same kingdom that had them (the faixy) flee to the forbidden land as the great war broke out.

'So the strange place she had just entered was the humans land and not to mention the Ellesmere kingdom' she exclaimed inwardly. Raven had heard many terrifying stories of the human as they where painted to be evil monster who feed's of children with their big dirty teeth and their long fang-wait, what?

Now that She had an encounter with them, Raven quickly came to the conclusion that all the stories she had heard about the humans where all crap! Well...must of them but one thing was for sure, that the humans looks a lot like them and that the monster image they were taught to be where lies.

"Martha, will you tell me more about Ellesmere and it's human," Asked the girl.

"Child! Didn't you heard what I just said," Exclaimed Martha as the was shock and disbelief written on her face.

"I did... And If you insist in not telling me about the humans I will not force you-" Pouted the girl which the nanny was happy to hear but that was not all as the girl she continued talking, "-But do you really want me to going around asking others on this matter? Uncle might just hear of it and then the whole blame might be on you as you know how he gets in blaming others, do you really want that? You can just tell me and uncle would never come to know-right." Whispered Raven with a mischievous smirk.

The nanny was not surprised as she was expecting this blackmail from the young girl. Raven has the tendency to make deals with people or blackmail them, It was a bad habit that the girl had picked up from her 'two face' of a uncle, as he would make deals with people in the matter of business. Martha knew this well because she had caught the man not more than once in teaching the girl his deceptive ways in handling people and yet he blames her for the misbehaviors of his niece. If it was not for the fact that her holds some interest in him, she would have ram the lord's head on the wall a long time ago but she could only sigh at the thought.

"Fine! But what do I get in return," Asked Martha, knowing full well that the girl was going to get her way on matter what, So she decided to get something out of it after all it was better to gain than to lose total.

"How about a nice romantic picnic before the sunset with just you and my dear uncle together, alone." Suggest Raven.

"It a deal," She agreed almost immediately.

"Alright start talking," Replied the girl as she sit up to make herself more comfortable.

"Wait... You mean right now? But it's late," Complained the nanny.

"Then I guess you'll be sleeping here to night," Smlied Raven as she tapped the empty side of the bed.

That night Raven was opened into a whole new world as she learns the difference between the faixys and the humans and If It was up to her she would have continued with the whole lessons all night, but with her nanny constant complains about being too tired and needed sleep, the little girl decided to call it a night but she was ok with it as tomorrow was going to be another new journey.
