4 Watching Drama

"Now I just need to record a few spells..." Thomas already knew where to go to get a few powerful ones. Since he seen the plot of this story, he can use what's about to happen for his benefit.

With a smile, Thomas merged into the shadows and went straight to find that familiar location. He will wait there patiently in the shadows until the drama starts.

The sun had begun to set. It had been two hours since the ceremony concluded. Asta had left to the forest to sulk and Yuno had stayed behind for the festivities.

Yuno was preparing to go home when he was suddenly confronted by two arrogant nobles. Who had been conversing with eachother and throwing curses around about the commoners that showed them up by getting four leaf grimiores.

When they noticed Yuno, the one with blonde hair said as he pulled out his grimiore. "I say we teach this commoner a lesson."

The other one was more sensible and knew attacking him would bring them punishment and said, "Hey, um... Isn't that going a bit too far?"

"We were supposed to be the stars of the show today! He ruined that! A lowlife commoner! And he got the four leaf clover?!... I need to make him pay... I'll burn that book until it's nothing but ash!"

"Wait!" His friend tried to stop him from acting rashly, but the blonde hair noble had already cast a spell that created a wave of fire that sped towards Yuno.

The wave approached Yuno, who looked calm and simply gestured with two fingers, creating a barrier of wind around him that protected him from the flames.

What left the two nobles in shock was, he didnt even need to use his grimiore to withstand that spell.

"He dispelled my flames without even using his grimiore!"

The two noble brats stepped back in shock and mild fear. The blonde one yelled at his friend, "Go on! You try!"

"Um..." The other one clearly did not want the smoke.

Suddenly the clinking of numerous chains erupted from the sides surrounding them and wrapped around the nobles and pinning them to the wall.They let out a loud scream before completely being bound.

"Now... We can't have that grimiore being burned up, now can we?" The voice was sickly sweet and filled with confidence. Anyone could guess he had bad intentions as he had the classic villain tone. A man with long unkept black hair and a scar over his left eyed stepped out and confronted them.

"Resisting will be a waste of your time. My [Magic Binding Iron Chain] formation spell blocks my captives movement and magic!"

"What do you want? Who are you?" Yuno scowled, he could sense this guy was bad news.

"Hahaha... I suppose a village boy wouldn't know, but until very recently, I was relatively well known among the Magic Knight squads as Chain Magic Revchi." He suddenly smiled creepily and continued, "But they expelled me from their illustrious ranks and now I am naught but a humble thief."

His chains surged around him and then shot out of the ground around Yuno and binding him in place.

"So if you'll excuse me, I'll be taking this grimiore of yours." A chain wrapped around Yuno's grimoire and pulled it towards Revchi.

Yuno didn't understand why he would take his grimiore. "You said that your name was Revchi? Why bother stealing it? There's no point. Grimiores..."

"Grimiores must be used by their chosen masters..." As if mocking Yuno, Revchi continued. "Yes, village boy, I'm well aware. That said, there are many black market collectors that would pay a small fortune in exchange for such a unique specimen.

The four leaf clover may have chosen you, but you only received it, an untrained novice! A mere hatchling! This is not your lucky day. Such a pity I happened to be here. Your legend is over before it even began..."

Revchi then noticed an beautiful pendant on a gold chain around Yuno's neck.

"Oh... I bet that pendant could fetch a good price. Don't mind if I do..."

"HOLD IT!" A voice sounded out. A boy with spiky grey hair suddenly jumped off the wall. "Aaaaahhhhh!" But he severely overestimated his jump and face planted directly into the adjacent wall. He then fell head first into the ground, creating a cloud of dust. He was comically immobilized with his legs twitching in the air.

"Pfft!" A voice that could barely contain it's laughter echoed out, putting Revchi on guard against whoever was lurking. He didn't put the Spiky haired kid in his eyes. But someone that could hide nearby he couldn't see was worthy of his attention. He wasn't a well known Magic Knight for nothing, even if he had been expelled.

The boy Asta jumped up and yelled while pointing at the noble chained up. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?! I've come to rescue... eh?"

The noble just looked at him flatly and wasn't even about to talk to this stupid guy.

Asta then shifted his attention on Revchi as if he just barely noticed him.

"HEY CREEP WHATS YOUR DEAL?! That's Yuno's grimiore! What are you doing with it?!... You dirty rotten thief!"

Revchi was slightly amused by this brat. "Why look! It's the sad little boy who waited so long but never got a grimiore..."

"Oh you've heard of me? Yeah... your right I'm a poor pitiful kid! But the only place a grimiore belongs is with it's true master! Now give that back to Yuno!"

Thomas watched the drama unfold from the shadows and wished he had popcorn. Of course the villain Revchi wasn't going to comply with Asta's demands they both started fighting.

Thomas watched but soon noticed something was off. Revchi wasn't fighting Asta as he did is the anime. He seemed more cautious but still he let a chain smack Asta into a wall and injuring his side.

Thomas thought about and concluded Revchi must know he is nearby and has his guard up. Thomas couldn't help but almost laugh when Asta made his entrance. It was then Revchi got suspicious.

After berating and saying cruel things to Asta, Revchi decided that whoever was watching likely had no compat power or else they would have helped the brat, right?

Yuno was mad about Revchi putting Asta down as he looks up to Asta as his true rival.

It was then that Plot Armor-kun activated and Asta demonized and his five leaf clover grimiore appeared, along with a black anti magic sword.

"Well, that's depressing..." Thomas wasn't able to copy Asta's anti magic. He had a small hope he could and was the only reason he stayed in the shadows so long.

[Magic Iron Binding Chains]

"What? This is my magic!" Chains erupted from the ground and wrapped around Revchi, immobilizing him and preventing him from using magic.

"This can't be possible? How are you using my spell?!"

A figure walked out of the shadows surprising everyone else present. "Asta! Go ahead and teach him a lesson." Thomas wasn't about to talk-no-jutsu about how he copied the dudes spells and instead just told Asta to end things.

Asta smiled and gripped his sword. "Thanks." And swung it with full power at Revchi.

"No! Wai...!"

*Bam*

The sword connected folding Revchi and sending him at high speeds into the adjacent wall. Causing him body to create a him shaped crater.

Thomas could help but chuckle at such a scene."Hehehe."
