Revelations

"So how are you keeping up honey?" Lora asked when we sat down at the luxurious sofas in the living room. She kept looking over her shoulders. Derek and Jack were sitting at the other end of the room.

"Don't worry about them. They look intimidating, but once you get to know them you'll see that they are quite friendly and likable!" I joked and the guys send playful glares my way.

"You know, it's been really weird if I'm being honest, I never really expected to be in a situation like that and now I'm thrown in it. But! Alex has been so sweet and supportive and kind and so understanding through this whole thing and you can't imagine how helpful that has been. I don't know how we used to be before my accident but I can surely tell you that I really care about this man, Lora... I don't know if I'd call this love -it's too early for that- but there is something there... I guess I'll just have to wait and see..." I said honestly and Lora was looking at me dumbfounded.
