But, he always liked to spend time with us. So, once a month we would go to this cabin he inherited. It is in the middle of nowhere. There is a long expanse of jungle between the road and the cabin. We would have park on the road and trek for like an hour to get there. It was by the lake. You never got any signal out there. We were far away from civilization you know, not that it would matter because dad would switch off his cell phone anyways. That was our family time.
