Seonghwa's POV

It has been nearly ten years since Kibum has died, and I still haven't found out the whole truth.

The truth about why Daesung wanted to be Ambassador.

The truth about why Daesung wanted his son to marry Y/N.

Who really was his son?

I knew that his son was the one who fell in love with Y/N and requested to marry her. But how could he fall in love with her, if she never left her mansion?

I was sitting in my study trying to work, until I heard a knock at the door. "Come In!" I yelled. My mother and father came in.

"Son we have to talk to you about something." My father said. "What about?" I asked. "As you know, you are about to be crowned as King." My mother said. "Yes. Where are you going with this?" I asked. "Well if you are going to be King, you are going to need A Queen." She said.

I sighed.

"Sunyoung, could you leave us both for a moment, I need to talk to Seonghwa." Father requested mother. "Of course." She said as she left.

"Look. I know you want to be King. AndI know you don't want a Queen." He said. "It's not that I don't want to have a Queen, it's just that I-"

"You're still in love with Y/N." He interrupted me.

"What? I don't love Y/N." I said. "I know you very well son. I knew the first day you met her, you fell for her. You remember when I sent you and Y/N to go on a walk, because I needed to talk to Kibum?" He asked.

I nodded.

"I was about to tell him. That you were in love with Y/N. I was going to ask, if he would be fine if in the future, you both got married to each other." He said. I slowly looked up to him. He only nodded.

"I also want Y/N to be your Queen. And so does your mother. Even though Kings should marry higher class people, she was still a daughter of the Ambassador, so I believe that would be fine. And I am sure the citizens will accept her as well. If you wish to marry her, I accept it. However there still will be a ball." He said.

"I admit, I want to marry her. But I don't want to rush it. I know it has been ten years, but she is still weak. Beside. I made a promise to myself that I won't marry her, until I find out who killed her mother, and the true reason behind why Daesung killed Uncle Kibum." I said.

"You are a good man son. And I am sure you will be an even better king." He said, as he patted my back. "I'll be leaving now." He said, as he left my room.

I started to work again. A few minutes later, someone came in. "Hello Hyung." The person said. I turned around to see my brother. "Hello Wooyoung." I smiled. Then another man came in. My best friend. "Hello." He smiled brightly. "Hello Mingi!" I yelled as I went to hug him.

They both sat down in front of me.

"So, you're having a ball with beautiful women?" Mingi smirked. "Song Mingi!" I yelled, while he just laughed. "I wonder if one of them could be my Queen." He said. "Stop daydreaming." I scolded.

"So, are you excited for this ball?" Wooyoung asked. "You could say that I am." I said. "So you are not." They said. I just looked down and continued my writing.

"You're still in love with her, aren't you?" Mingi said. I sighed. "I knew it. Boy is still in love with his childhood friend, or so he claims, his First Love." Wooyoung said. "Yes." Is all I said.

"Y/N is perfect for a Queen." Wooyoung said. "She would make the Kingdom happy, as well as you. She technically still is a descendant of a high class family." Mingi added. "I know but, I don't wanna rush it. I wanna wait till she is ready. Or at least till I am ready. I still need to find out about the person who tried to hurt her." I said as I clenched my fist.

"Well then, we support you in that. And if you need any help in trying to find them, we can help." Mingi smiled. His smile always makes me happy and gives me an energy boost.

"Thank you." I smiled. Soon after they left.

I sighed and leaned back on my chair closing my eyes.

'I'll find them Y/N. Don't worry'

I decided to go visit Y/N. I went downstairs to the parlor where everyone was. "I'm going to go visit Y/N." I said as I walked out.

Her house wasn't that far, so I decided to walk. It would give me some time to think anyways.

I knocked on the door and Hwasa answered. "Oh hello Seonghwa!" She smiled. "Hello Hwasa. Is Y/N home?" I asked. "She is actually out, but come in." She said. "Oh no that is fine, I'll wait outside." I said.

I sat down by the stairs and waited for Y/N to come. And she was with someone. A boy. Holding hands.
