The Grind final part and new comrade

Vex POV

after about a 2 hour walk for my brother and a 2-hour fly for me we arrived at the base of a mountain.

" all right brother we'll split up if you think you cannot win a fight run. when you think you're safe wait for me to recover your stamina and all that and go back to fighting or you could wait there wherever you rest and wait for me to find you."

my brother nodded his head as he ran up the mountain. I just slightly shook my head as I started to fly upwards towards a cliff I see only took about 3 minutes of flying to get there but I noticed there were small lizard creatures that had fur they had some kind of green purplish liquid coming from there teeth. I decided to use life Tedder on all of them which there was about 25 so because of that there were five of them without like tether I drew my katana and swing it towards one of the five that were not being affected by the life tether. and used air slash to start carving into their flesh well simultaneously flying around the group that way if they have any rains attacks it'll be harder to hit me.

I didn't use vipers things on these things cuz I'm assuming what that liquid coming from their mouth was is poison. which because of that means they have most likely a resistance to poison and/or a complete immunity. as I look over to the strange creatures then I have used life tether on. and I noticed they're basically dead already I turned my focus back onto the other five as I swing once again using windblade to instantly kill those five by making the wind blade cut off their heads and as soon as they died the remaining 20 started dying one by one from having the last bit of their HP absorbed.

I raised my Lantern from my hip and turned all these strange creatures into Undead then I received the notifications.

" congratulations you have created Undead Fur Viper."

" congratulations you have created Undead Fur Viper."

" congratulations you have created Undead Fur Viper."

I smiled as I gave a mental command to all of these new Undead minions to search the cave nearby and kill whatever is in it. I do remember that I could enter the Nexus after I first entered it by meditating I decided after I found a safe place I would meditate. as I looked around the immediate area I noticed there was there is another cave which seem like there was spider webs which meant they are most likely giant spiders there. I mainly gave a mental command to 15 of the fur Viper. to go into that pacific cave and kill whatever they found and make sure to bring back the corpses after they're done clearing the cave.

Lucas POV

I continue running up the mountain eventually I came across some Orcs which that's all I could assume they were after all they were green big and muscle. I immediately started charging at them with my charge ability slamming one of the Orcs into his buddy as I quickly followed up with my Whirlwind ability. which killed three Orcs now that I look around me I know this there was about 12 Orcs that were greenskin but there was one that was red seemingly trying to fight off the green ones. I decided I would help this red Orc out. as I use my charge ability again to slam into an orc that was about to attack the red one. and with a quick swing of my hammer I ended up knocking the head off of that when I tackled. I need up having a shiver go down my spine when I heard the flesh rip and tear. the red orc quickly spoke to me.

" don't know what the Dragonborn doing here but I appreciate the help the name is chakra. and if you're curious about why these guys are attacking me I'll explain after the fight."

I simply nod my head at Chakra. I forgot I immediately activated both war cry and rally cry the talk affected all 11 of the remaining green skin Orcs and both me and chakra got a temporary increase in health. because of all the remaining green skin Orcs being affected by war cry I gained 5% damage increase for each one when added all together it is 55% of a damage increase. now combining that with my heavy strike which gives 125% boost in damage. and using whirlwind I pretty much instant killed about 7 of the 11 Orcs which pretty much left 4 of them remaining.

those four remaining Works tried running away the both me and chakra ran them down not letting a single one of them Escape. after the last green skin died chakra began to speak.

" well my story ain't really a long one so let's get out of the way you see greenskins believe if you're green you are the strongest any orc or Goblin born not green are immediately hunted down because they are seen as a curse but they never kill a child they wait until they are in there adolescence throw them out of the city and use them as a hunt for aspiring Warriors. that is basically the short version of how come they were attacking me."

I'm not in my head as I start to think after a few minutes I nodded to myself as I began to speak to chakra I extended my hand out to him.

" well my name is Lucas and if you want you can join me and my brother on our Conquest to unite the continent after all you're a lot safer with us than on your own."

chakra start to think about it after a few minutes he nodded his head and shook my hand as he starts to speak I smiled.

" well I certainly owe you one for helping my ass out back there so I don't see why I wouldn't pay the favor back by fighting by your side."

I'm not in my head as I started to look around as I noticed chakra didn't have a weapon. chakra seem to have caught on my curiosity and began to speak.

" my way is called pugilist my bare hands are my weapons."

I nodded my head as I started to speak as I started heading back to the cave.

" all right my way is called the Warhammer it's Unique to me so far my brother way is called Dead-pulse Swordsman."

this seems to caught chakra's attention quite a bit. but he States silent for a few minutes as we walked I thought heading back to the cave would be the best idea that way chakra knows where to go when he needs to rest. I then heard chakra began to speak.

" so how does your brother's way work exactly."

I started to think about it as I didn't really know how my brother's way worked all I know it worked.

" you know chakra I'm not entirely sure I'm not that smart to begin with in the first place all I know it works he uses a sword raise Undead can shoot wind blades and he can use spells that drain the life force of others whoever they're tethered to. well that's the very least what I've seen so far. My brother is the type to be very talkative even with me Unless it's very important."

chakra nodded his head in understanding cuz it did make sense. as I made my way down the mountain with chakra following me. I then got an idea to ask him what his way of fighting entails like any only use his fist or can he use magic as well.

" so can you only use your fist to fight or can you use some magic as well like for example I only have one type of magic and that is healing Magic."

chakra looked at me with complete surprise written all over his face as he began to speak.

" wait you can actually use magic that's actually quite surprising you didn't strike me as a mage type and again the way you will the hammer I can't really classify you as a mage type."

I couldn't help but chuckle bit It the reaction.

" well really I only have melee type skills currently besides the one being a basic heal spell."

this seems to make chakra relax a bit but then he decided to talk again luckily enough as soon as I heard his words it was answering my question.

" well to answer your question no I can use other parts of me besides my fists I can summon an elemental Sprite which can imbue my body with a particular element allowing my punches to do Elemental damage. and if you're wondering you'll have to face other Orcs with the pugilist way of fighting don't worry they're very few of us on the continent let alone in the orc Kingdom I'm actually one of only two people with this way of fighting in the orc Kingdom because most Orcs believe magic is the way of cowards only shamans practice magic and that's only because There are spiritual guides as tradition dictates."

as I nodded my head to this I realized we were off the mountain so I decided to keep going to our base camp And now I is always welcome and besides if he does proved me an enemy he will serve in death. now that I take notice I'm becoming a bit more sadistic is that because I'm a Dragonborn or my brother has corrupted me.

Vex POV

I set outside the cave for a few minutes and I've seen my fur Vipers drag out giant spider Corpses but only about three of them and the rest of the corpses they brought up were small and of course I used my raise dead spell on them making about six dozen Undead spiders.

" congratulations you have created Undead spiderling."

" congratulations you have created Undead broodmother."

"congratulations you have created Undead spider Warrior."

"congratulations you have created Undead spider Warrior."

I simply started to get up as I start to fly in the air as I gave a mental command to all my Undead to start purging all life on this mountain both outside and in it as my Undead sorry to swarm out to search for Life The Kill I felt something watching me. I start to slowly turn in the air with my sword drawn as I looked around trying to figure out where I'm being watched from but the feeling soon disappeared I immediately started leaving the mountain heading towards mine and my brother's base but I made sure to be high up in the sky so I could spot any enemies coming my way. I stayed silent on my way to the base mainly focusing on seeing if I could sense any threats around me but of course I couldn't sense anything and after a few hours I arrived at the entrance of the cave and seeing my brother talking with some red skinned orc. I already knew what the situation of that orc was after all I had knowledge on all Races the green skin see anything not green as inferior or a disease and if you were an orc not green might as well sign your own death warrant and be living pray. which means if he's here my brother has invited him to our group even though he is the leader I still wish he would have consulted with me about this. though I do believe it would be good to have another Ally.
