"It appears Devils are following your motto, master." I sigh at my maid's sarcastic tone.

I guess it was my fault for not looking at how things exactly will go down when I used Clairvoyance. I just looked if whether will I get caught or not.

Go big or go home is my motto, how dare they use it themselves!? Scratch that they're already at home!

"Why didn't you tell me that this was a terrible idea, Angelica?" I jokingly ask my maid while knocking out another devil.

To be honest I didn't expect them to attack the cities even other lower-class devils while the high-class are living in giant castles with target marks on them. They're going big with this shit.

{Burn mother fuckers burn! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA!} Diehauser is not helping either. Also, he is a JoJo's fan. Worthless and Useless are close terms...

Turns out he loved his cousin romantically in this version in return he is more unhinged than the original.

"It wouldn't affect master bady, I will only speak up if I think it will hurt master in the end..." How sweet and devoted. "Also master makes a cute expression when things go beyond his expectations." Okay...

"Sigh let's just go and save my future manager." I cast an AOE Tazer spell and take everyone out.

I can see some glacial mountains forming in the distance, meaning Serafall or Grayfia took the field.

Ajuka must be alerted already, but that's no concern for me, my attention is on Ravel who is currently flying towards us.

Her clothes are messed up from running and most likely got tangled into things during her escape but she's unharmed.

"They're out for blood, run!" And she flies past us. She's at least polite enough to warn us...

Snapping my finger I released some pressure, the pursuers slow down as they approach then fall to their knees unable to handle it.

Then I summoned my flowers to tie them up. I took my sweet time with them and made sure they're comfortable too.

"Ehhhh!?" Hearing Ravel's shocked voice I see that she came back at some point, most likely she got curious why we didn't run like her.

Ravel is a smart girl, since she didn't hear any screaming she must've figured out something unexpected happened.

"Hello miss, what's your name?" I grin and take off my hood revealing my handsome face to the world.

"Ravel... Ravel Phenex. You're Merlin! May I ask what are you doing here Merlin-sama?" Feeling secure for the first time since this whole thing started Ravel relaxed.

"I was here for an interview concerning the latest Satan Rangers movie but got caught up in this mess. I just couldn't ignore it." Merlin lied naturally as he breathed.

"I see." Her head falls, she starts making finger points like a shy Hinata.

"Would you like me to escort you to your home?" I ask guessing her request.

"Oh satan yes!" She jumps before blushing and running behind Angelica.

Ravel is easy to impress, most likely because she got raised as a noble and didn't see much of the world.

Thanks to her brother being arrogant shit, she doesn't share the same trait, she is prideful of her heritage but not to the point it comes off as arrogance.

Then again the only one that was shown as arrogant was Riser and he got his shit together after Issei messed him up.

Anyway, she has very little in the list of requirements on her list about potential husbands, and I just checked every box she had with my little stunt.

"Master, aren't you getting tired of this?" Angelica asks as she knocks out another devil.

She's annoyed that she can't kill, Vali seriously messed up my angelic maid. I don't want to kill these guys, Devils are already having problems with numbers.

But that's not all, I can't keep my moral high ground if I kill the very people I riled up. They're taking this hit so I could get a manager after all.

"I guess you're right. There's no fun in bullying the weak. <Celestial Crusaders>" Following my spell sky darkened with clouds and started shooting lighting down.

Every Lightning that struck the earth turned into soldiers that fought for me. Angelica gave a bland look at my minions, it's because I used the spell at its lowest power.

This spell is from an anime I watched in my previous life, it was used by one of the antagonists.

Unfortunately, I can't use Moroha Haimura's Ouroboros here despite how cool it looks since it will alter the terrain and we're in the middle of a city.

"So cool!" Well, at least Ravel is impressed

Thanks to my minions opening the way it didn't take us long to reach Phenex estate. The whole castle was under siege with Ruval and Lord Phenex holding ground.

I cleared the mob for them and reached the entrance where we got greeted by a haggard-looking Riser.

I made sure he got caught unprepared and made sure he took a decent beating but didn't die. It's all for the greater good, of course, now he knows he is weak and will strive to improve.

"Thank satan Ravel are you okay!?" Well, he loves his family at least.

"Nii-sama! I am okay, I ran into Merlin-sama he helped me come here. See that army it's all his!" While Ravel was animatedly telling how great I am, I take a look at the Castle.

The place took minimal damage but some marks are indicating that rebels managed to take some shots in before defenses were raised.

Seeing Ravel is finishing I turned back and pretended to leave like my job was finished here only to be stopped by Riser himself.

"Merlin-sama please, I would like to invite you. Satans took the field this whole deal should be finished already. We must properly thank you for helping Ravel." Damn, Riser is being respectful.

Then again devils respect to power, so I guess it is normal.

"It's nothing." I shake my head.

While I was about to reject his offer and say I need to help others Satans made an announcement declaring things to be over.

There is even a picture of Diehauser getting arrested. I gave a mental bow to the man, he took a hit so I could get a waifu that deserves respect.

"Well, I was going to say I had things to do but it seems satans got things under control." Shrugging I follow Riser in.

I imagined the Phenex family differently, especially seeing how Ravel and Riser react to bird jokes.

"What are you looking like that son, someone stole your seeds?" Lord Phenex jokes at his second son's expression.

I didn't expect them to do it themselves, turns out they're cool as long as it is done by the family.

"Sorry I didn't expect this change of events." He sighs.

Ruval, Revar, Riser, and Ravel. That's too many R's. Anyway, Revar himself is a successful businessman uninterested in Rating games. He was a tad bit too shocked about the rebellion.

Also, Revar is the only one that is still shocked about the events. The rest of the family are acting like this whole thing was a small event.

Unfortunately, Ruval had to go and rest since he used up all of his energy defending the Castle, so I didn't meet him yet.

"By the way where did Ravel go?" Lord Phenex turns to his wife.

"She went straight to the kitchen, judging by her expression she's going to cook." Riser answers with a grin.

Lord Phenex looked surprised for a second before looking at me then at his wife before she made an Ara~ with her hand on her cheek.

"Well, Ravel seems to be busy but we would like to thank you for protecting our daughter." Lord and Lady Phenex say together.

I accepted their thanks and started discussing the King Piece, how it works and why does it exist. We can't talk about the weather at this time after all.

While we were speaking Ravel returned with some baked goods, the strategically placed flour on her face declared she cooked it herself.

"My sweet daughter cooking for other men, they grow up so fast~." Of course, her mother had to do her job as a parent and embarrass her.

"Mom!"

Eventually, the topic turned to my personal life. There is no doubt Lord and Lady Phenex did not realize their daughter's change in behavior.

Getting her hooked with me would be a boon for them but I rather not go with the route I took with Gabriel. So just when I was about to excuse myself Grayfia happened...
