14 New Companion!

"Hello, and welcome to your new family!"

Yokoji said, making the young boy shrink back a bit at the thought. 'It probably reminded him of his parents, damn, I should try and think a bit more about what to say.'

"Ah sorry, I didn't mean to be inconsiderate. I'm not sure about your story, however, I'm pretty sure we all are alone now..." Yokoji said, with a sad look on his face.

The boy nodded, still looking scared and wary of his surroundings.

"Where's Chibi?" The red-haired kid asked.

"Who?" Yokoji asked, seeming to be a bit confused. Of course, he knew who he was (the dog) but he couldn't make him seem suspicious.

"My pet dog, have you seen him?" He asked, making it seem as if he was ready to kill them if they gave the wrong answer. Bloodlust seemed to slip out of his eyes.

"Ah, calm down a bit, don't worry, your pet dog, Chibi, is resting right beside you. I don't get how you missed him." Yokoji said, a bit confused over this guy's lesser amount of brain cells. 'Now I see why he got along so well with Naruto.'

"Oh," The redhead said, feeling slightly embarrassed at not noticing him.

"Who are you guys, and where are we?" He then asks, with a questioning gaze.

"Hmph, we're at my and Yokoji's home!" Konan said to him. Looking down at him with some disdain in her eyes. Still mad about everything that occurred before. 'Damn you, getting to be so close to my Yokoji!'

"Who?" The boy asks, obviously not being able to connect the dots. It could be because of his currently weak mental state, or just due to him as a person.

'How did he ever become the boss of an organization. It was probably thanks to Konan now that I think of it. She is smart, beautiful and she is-Stop it, stop thinking of Konan, this is not the time. I can do that later.' Yokoji just shakes his head to get his mind clear.

"I am Yokoji." He says as he raises his hand as if in a teacher's roll call.

"Ah" The red-head responded. A faint blush coating his cheeks, as he felt embarrassed.

"So, do you guys, n-not have..." Nagato starts to say but mumbles off in discomfort. Clearly not feeling well enough to say what he meant.

"Don't have parents. Yea were both orphans, however, we have had each other for the past two years so we've been fine. Enough of that you should have some bread, you look hungry." Yokoji stated, finishing off what he was going to say, while also offering some food to the famished boy.

As if to prove his previous statement, the young boy's stomach immediately rumbled. Getting him embarrassed again. While Konan gave him a disgusted look as if it was his fault.

Yokoji threw him some bread, as Nagato sat up properly while eating it like an animal.

This made Konan give the child even more of a disgusting face. 'He's nothing like my Yokoji, I don't see why we have to keep him with us. I get that Yokoji wants to start a big group, but I'm going to show him he doesn't need anyone but me!'

Konan's face went into determination. While this happened Yokoji looked at her and thought, 'How cute...'.

As this was going on the dog Chibi finally decided to wake up. It went on its legs weakly as it gave out a weak bark.

"Here have some as well," Yokoji said, as he threw the dog some of the food on the side as well.

"Bark Bark" The dog happily yelled, before catching the bread in mid-air. Proceeding to eat it like it's master.

"Like master like pet..." Konan mumbled under her breath. Still in utter disdain of having less alone time with her Yokoji.

A few pieces of bread later, Nagato finally came to his senses.

He introduced his name to the two. deciding to only use his first name as that was what Yokoji did as well.

Then after a nudge in the shoulders by Yokoji, Konan told her name to the boy as well.

As all the 'formal' greetings were done with, Yokoji finally decided to speak to Nagato about what he'd do next.

"Hey, Nagato," Yokoji said.

"Ya?" Nagato responded, looking at Yokoji in question.

"I was wondering what you were going to do next?"

"Next? Hmmmm, I guess I'll go wander around again. Looking for a place to live with Chibi," He said in a meek voice.

"Well, if that's the case why don't you just live here with us instead?" Yokoji mentioned, meanwhile grinning on the inside as this all fell into place.

"Live here, you'll let me?" Nagato asked, stars practically shining in his eyes.

"No," Konan responded.

Nagato immediately became depressed again.

"No, just ignore her. Of course you can live here." Yokoji said, meanwhile whispering in Konan's ear to behave and she'll get a treat later.

'I wonder what treat he'll give me?' Konan wondered, drifting off into her fantasies with a dreamy look on her face.

"Although you can live here, you'll have to sleep in the lounge. And you'll have to practice with me and Konan as well." Yokoji put forward some conditions, hoping to be able to get Nagato to train with them.

"Yeah sure, but train what?" Nagato said in confusion. Still being in his meek voice. He seemed to not like to talk much after what has happened.

"Train to be a Ninja."

Nagato had an expression of fear on his face as that was said. Memories of his past flashed before him, making him scared of what was to come.

'Should I tell them about what happened in my past? No, they may see me as a monster. I'll keep it a secret for now. And, I guess I can be a Ninja, that way I can get more revenge for my parents. I'll destroy Konoha!'

"Ok, when do we start?" Nagato asked. Looking at Yokoji in resilience.

Smiling at the look on Nagato's face Yokoji had some thoughts, 'I wonder just how strong he'll be in this timeline. Though if my fallback plan happens, I would guess not far.'

Yokoji let out a small laugh at that thought. Making Nagato look on in confusion.

"Don't worry he does that sometimes, don't you think it's rather cute?" Konan said, still in her Yandere mode.

"Ummm, yeah, sure..." Nagato said a bit creeped out nonetheless.

"*Cough* *Cough*, sorry about that, in my own thoughts for a sec. Anyway, your training starts now. I'll have to unlock your chakra first." Yokoji mentioned, meanwhile thinking of a different way of opening his chakra pathways. He didn't want a guy to have the same reaction as Konan. He shuddered at the thought.
