Darkseid

After Bruce left the room, Barry tried on the suit and checked himself out at floor window at the corner of the room.

The upgraded suit retained its iconic scarlet color with a little metallic luster. The thrusters which were tiny were placed along the arms, legs and back while being carefully distributed to ensure balanced and controlled acceleration.

The Flash emblem on his chest now housed a discreetly integrated earpiece featuring an almost invisible, yet powerful antenna. The HUD visor, when activated, projected a holographic interface, offering real-time data feeds while tracking his current movement speed. As he activated it, he also got a notification informing him that the component of his suit charges based off of the kinetic energy that he emits while speeding up.

"Then that means there won't ever be a time when it runs out of power. This is just straight up... insane."

The days quickly passes by until Darkseid's arrival was imminent. The city lay beneath the ominous shadow of the impending threat.

The air was thick with an otherworldly tension as a portal flickered to life. The city's towering buildings cast long shadows over the streets and the evening sky overhead darkened.

The Justice League stood on top of the Wayne Manor, adorned in their costumes. Batman's cape billowed in the breeze, Jordan's power ring occasionally humming with contained energy.

Bruce stepped forward, "Stay focused. We knew this day would come. The people of metropolis are counting on us."

The portal's glow intensified as a colossal spaceship materialized, hovering atop the city. On top of the ship was Darkseid with his hands folded behind his back. His expression stern as he gazed at the city below like it was already his.

The hatch at different areas of the ship opened up, a legion of parademons with and without wings swarmed out of the ship, spreading out like ominous shadows against the backdrop of the city lights.

"Superman, wonder woman, take the front. Green lantern, provide aerial support and help protect the military. Flash scout and take them out while you're at it. Cyborg disrupt their formation."

They nodded in response. Superman and Wonder woman shot into the sky like rockets, immediately colliding head on with the parademons. Punches flew all around, pushing them back in droves while more and more of them poured out of the hatch. While wonder woman utilized her lasso to throw them into each other, Superman hovered above and let out a blast of icy breath before diving downwards, creating a shockwave that destroyed a lot of them.

Green Lantern created barrier constructs, shielding buildings and providing support and cover for the army.

Cyborg, interfacing with the Batman's system targeted their energy weapons, disabling them at intervals causing confusion between the parademons making them easier to deal with.

Overseeing the fight from above, Barry finally decided where to engage from. His thrusters activated as he dashed into the fray at breakneck speed. The parademons in his way were completely caught off guard, a large number of them suffered ghastly slices around dangerous parts of their bodies ending most of their lives immediately.

He activated the HUD visor as he kept mowing them down, casting a holographic display within Barry's field of vision. Real-time data feeds flooded his senses as he weaved through waves of the ongoing chaos. He became the focal point of the battle in no time, finding the weaknesses of the parademon army, mitigating casualties here and there.

"Bruce, a group of parademons are moving quickly up north. There's a citywide generator stationed there."

Bruce, in the Batcave, opened up a real-time map and caught their movement. "Two more elite groups are also using the chaos as cover and are travelling towards the other two main power generators."

"Head towards the power generator on the north. I'll take the one towards the south."

As he dashed towards the Batmobile, he informed Jordan to take out the last one.

He jumped into the Batmobile and started it up.

A section of the courtyard floor opened up and the Batmobile jumped out from it, shooting off towards the south.
