Chapter Two

How could this girl possibly survive the center of the world's hottest fire in history? was the question on my mind, and everyone else's 2 hours ago. that question has finally been "answered ", in its own curious way. But it has brought up an entirely different question, that ENTIRELY the laws of science. To make matters worse, my assistant seemed to be enjoying himself, inside this world of fantasy.

"Sir, I think I have figured it out. " he exclaimed, breathlessly.

"Well hurry up, and tell me then. ", I said impatiently.

"Her body seems to have consumed the fire, fast enough that she's alive, and since the fire is a part of her body, she can control it with her mind.", he explained.

I glared at him ferociously, trying to blame him for this "Fire girl".

"We Can't let this girl go, we must study her and find out if we can make more of these.... ", I hesitated, "fire people. We will call her experiment 82394, imprinted on her neck, so we can find her, wherever."

"Yes, sir. ", he responded as he reluctantly tattooed the numbers on her neck.

" I have one more question. "I blurted out reluctantly, angry at myself for letting go of some of my pride.

Surprised, he looked up, and nodded at me to continue.

"I don't understand how her blood flow is still working, when the fire seems to be in all of her systems. " I questioned, motioning to her body with a substance something like lava flowing under her skin.

He Shrugged, "she must have evolved when her body consumed the fire, which would also explain why she still has hair and her skin is still cool. "

I nodded in agreement.

"Um, sir?, experiment 82394 is waking up, what should I do?", he asked nervously.
