Chapter 16: Official

Sakura's POV

I'm glad that our parents approved about Seiya courting me. Seiya texted me that night, and he said that when he told her parents about him courting me, his mom went gaga. As expected from his mom.

It's been a month, and Seiya still courts me. Seiya would give me chocolates and flowers. He always picks and accompanies me to my house. Overall, Seiya showed that he likes me. I'm thinking of repaying it by making our relationship official. Thinking about being Seiya's girlfriend makes me super happy because six years ago, I only admired him, and now he is courting me. Who would have thought that the guy I admired since freshmen year is now courting me, and I will say yes to him and be his girlfriend. It's like in dramas that I watched. I thought it would only come true in dramas, but it will happen in real life.

Later after class, I will make our relationship official. I will tell my dad, Dylan, and Rose first.

I am now eating breakfast with dad, and I will tell him about it.

"Ah, dad?"

"Yes, Sakura. What is it?"

"Um, I'm planning on making our relationship official today. It's been a month already, and Seiya showed how much he likes and cares for me,"

"You know that I support Seiya courting you, Sakura, but it's up to you. You can decide on your own. I'm glad that you discussed it with me. I like Seiya for you, Sakura,"

"Thanks, Dad,"

"Oh, it's already 7 am. You have to go to university,"

"Ok, dad. See you later,"

"Ok"

I went to university. You are wondering that I'm alone and not with Seiya. It's because Seiya has a presentation today, so he needs to prepare.

I arrive at the university on time. A few minutes later, the class starts.

Fast forward, and it's already lunchtime. Seiya texted me that he would not be joining us because he is busy. I understand him. I went to the cafeteria and saw Dylan and Rose.

"Oh, where is Seiya?"

"He has something to do and can't be with us today,"

"Ah, ok,"

"I'm planning on making our relationship official today,"

"Really? Go for it, girl. You are better together,"

"We will support your decision Sakura," Dylan said.

Thanks, guys,"

"Were best friends. We support each other"

After talking, we ate our lunch.

Seiya's POV

It's been a month that I'm courting Sakura. When will she say yes to me? Be patient, Seiya.

I am busy the entire day because I have a presentation and project to pass.

After class, I hurriedly went to Sakura's classroom. I saw her inside, and I went inside because she is the only one in the classroom.

"I miss you, Sakura," I said and hugged her.

"Why miss me? We've seen each other yesterday,"

"Whatever. I just miss you,"

"Ok, ok. I have something to say to you,"

"What is it?"

Sakura went near me and whispered to my ear.

"Let's make our relationship official,"

I was shocked.

"What? Can you repeat what you said?"

"You earned my sweet yes, Seiya. I am proud to say that I am your girlfriend,"

I hugged her tight.

"Yes! I've been waiting for this day to come. Thank you, Sakura. You made me the happiest guy in the universe. I love you,"

"I love you too,"

We stared at each other, and our faces are inches apart. I want to kiss Sakura, so I went closer. Sakura's face also went closer, and our lips met.

When we are kissing each other, I heard a sound outside, so we stopped kissing.

"Oopsy! Are we disturbing something?" Rose said.

"We are sorry to disturb your lovey-dovey moment," Dylan said.

"It's ok guys,"

"Let's go to a fast-food restaurant. My treat," I said.

We went to a nearby fast-food restaurant.

I'm happy that our relationship is official now.

The girl that I rejected is Junior year is now my girlfriend. Love is unexpected. You cannot tell and predict it. I never thought that I would love Sakura.

When we finished eating, we said goodbye to each other. I accompanied Sakura going home.

When I went home, I told my parents that Sakura is my girlfriend. My mom went hysterical, and my dad is happy for me.

I'm blessed to have supportive parents.
