The 'Third' Disciple Sicarius

Now that Bogart knew that Sicarius was powerless, he had way less respect for him than he had at first. Initially, Bogart wanted to show his good side to the boy, but now what use would that be? This boy having no powers yet had low potential to become anyone important. However, even though he had lost respect for Sicarius, Sicarius was still Omni's disciple regardless. To openly show disrespect toward Sicarius would have been a complicated matter, that would have been the case if Sicarius had chosen to take the insults silently.

The sound of putrid bile rising in his throat emanated once more. The bile visibly went up through his bulging throat and into his mouth where it remained. The fact that he had his mouth filled didn't stop him from speaking.

"Sicarius, I am warning you!" Bogart yelled, "Even if you're the founder's disciple I will not take any more disrespect."

Sicarius could only stare at the man with a dead expression. Then he turned to look at the red haired boy turning blue from the lack of oxygen in his grip before promptly letting go.

"Bogart, remember, I am a combat instructor. This means I am of equivalent status as you are. I am in your class therefore I tried not to make a fuss, but here we have a boy who had openly insulted me repeatedly in your class without repercussions. Therefore I made the choice to issue the punishment myself." Sicarius explained, "I don't see the problem?"

"I-I.." Bogart stuttered, "Such arrogance! I have never met anyone as arrogant as you are in all my years!"

"What seems to be the problem here?" A buff middle aged man wearing a tight tracksuit entered the room with a frown on his face. Upon seeing Sicarius standing above a gasping student, and Bogart with bile in his mouth, he smirked.

"Isn't this the new combat instructor?" the buff man said, "He had just been appointed as a combat instructor and yet here he is tussling with students!"

Sicarius turned to look at the buff man and recognized him as the previous combat instructor, Reynold. Omni had introduced him the day before. Sicarius could remember the expression Reynold had on his face when Omni made him take his position. In front of Omni, he tried his best to be amiable but to Sicarius, it was easy to see the glint of irritation Reynold had in his eyes.

Now Reynold was merely a sub-combat instructor, and it seemed like his pride couldn't take that Sicarius was now in his place.

Sicarius had no reason to stay here anymore now that he's said what he had to. Ignoring everything and everyone he proceeded to walk outside the room, right where Reynold had just entered from. Seeing this, Reynolds moved to block his path.

"Where do you think you'r--" He was met with a slap in the face which led to him smashed against the wall. Shockingly enough, with the force of Sicarius's slap, Sicarius was impressed that the wall only cracked from the impact.

"So the whole building is this sturdy?" Sicarius thought to himself before leaving completely. Leaving Bogart and the whole class with their mouths agape, and with Reynolds still collapsed on the floor. Sicarius wasn't worried Reynold would die, he was the previous combat instructor for a reason. Sicarius didn't know what Reynold's powers were but Reynolds was a status 2 powered so he wouldn't die from a mere slap.

The class was finally done with, however, Sicarius had benefited in no way whatsoever. There was nothing at all that could clue him in regarding his state of being powerless. He could only press the bridge of his nose as he sighed. He walked through the corridors as he thought deeply about his plans.

He had in fact already begun thinking of ways to complete his mission without powers. Even without powers, Sicarius knew how to form a like-minded group of individuals. There were many approaches to doing this like manipulation, blackmail, and the likes of brainwashing and such. Essentially he would be forming a cult of his own with the goal of eradicating the world. Regardless of whether he would have powers or not forming his own group would indeed be helpful.

Sicarius wasn't the type to simply wait for blessings from the skies. God will give him a life changing power when he's 18 but that was meant to be completely unrelated to whatever his power would be if he was born because his powers would be inherited from his parents. That would mean if everything went conveniently then Sicarius would have two powers. Could it be that God intentionally phrased it life changing because Sicarius would have no powers?

Even lost in his thoughts Sicarius proceeded to walk with a destination and that was the cafeteria. The cafeteria wasn't a room, but rather a whole floor wherein tables filled the layout. A few cooks stood by the side by a long counter with multiple pots and plates filled with various meals set atop them. Students were already starting to fill out the room since looking at the clock it was nearly lunchtime.

Sicarius had never eaten here before and opted to eat here considering it was closer.

"Hey! That guy's cutting through the line!" A student yelled, causing the multiple lines of students to all turn simultaneously toward Sicarius's direction. Sicarius, who didn't care, merely kept walking to the front.

Sicarius could merely raise his eyebrows. Were the school staff supposed to line up with the students? Then again, no one really knows that he's the combat instructor now. Perhaps he should wear some sort of identification? Of all his days at the tower he only ever ate near the training hall and occasionally with his mother, he really was clueless.

"Where's a member of staff supposed to take food? I'm the newly appointed combat instructor." Sicarius asked a cook who was serving as soon as he arrived at the front. The students near him looked at him mockingly hearing this. Honestly, what student would believe Sicarius was a combat instructor without seeing his skill? Sicarius was around the same age as them, and a muscly physique wasn't that uncommon in a school full of powereds where there would be people with physiques as large as a giant.

The staff, however, seemed to have heard about Sicarius's position. The cook smiled, "Oh you can just come to the front like you did, sir."

Hearing this, Sicarius began picking meals and eventually turned back to look for tables with a plate as large as a pot. The other students within the line that Sicarius cut through could only look on with displeasure. No one knew who Sicarius was, so they were really displeased at the visible difference in treatment that they'd witnessed.

Sicarius had just found a table, although occupied. He was about to sit down when, to the delight of the others around the table, Sicarius heard a voice call out his name.

"Sicarius! Over here!"

It was Venus seated by Princess and a few more people who Sicarius doesn't know. For some reason, it seemed as if each and everyone of them was sizing Sicarius up as he neared them. Of course, Sicarius was gauging their abilities as well, but appearances rarely reveal much at first encounter therefore Sicarius classified them as nothing but weaklings until they prove they aren't.

"Guy's this is the third disciple of grandpops, Sicarius!" Venus introduced, "Third because he's the weakest among us."

There was no visible change in Sicarius's expression as he sat down and took a huge bite out of his meal.
