Modified Same Trick

A few mixed emotions graced the man's face, it was difficult to distinguish whether it was horror or anger because nothing ordinary and lesser was supposed to arrive from Renna's devilish head.

As soon as the words pricked his innocent ears, a chill settled in his spine. The old man had already acknowledged how capable Renna was and certainly he wasn't a match for her, when the local goons were crushed by her like ants.

"Well, sure. Go ahead, sir. But I must suggest that you should see the pictures in your gallery before contacting the police."

Renna passed a wide smile to him, the corners of her lips almost touched the eyes.

The man's nightmarish dream came true when his blue confused orbs landed onto the picture, saved in his gallery folder. The mere click left the poor man with a horror struck expression, he was unable to move an inch.

Of course, it was expected of him and Renna had imagined the same expression beforehand.

The posture was absolutely intimate and the old man seemed to have been in an immoral position, as the sly fox deliberately clicked from upwards.

The fat rabbit fell into the trap of the cunning fox, who had shown the man as the real culprit in the whole play, as the poor soul was laying beneath her exposed sitting silhouette.

"What the…"

The man couldn't bring himself to utter a single word, let alone forming a sentence. His words got stuck in the throat as the man immediately paused, lifted his head up and glanced at Renna with an unbelievable expression.

"Hey, you know it isn't true, right?"

He leaped towards the front seat and crept at the edge of his, while his quizzical voice filtered through the air in the cab.

Somehow the man was reluctant to believe the situation in the photograph, yet he needed to confirm it from Renna. The lady was wearing a victorious smile over her lips, while her firm grip around the steering was quite a contrast to the shivering hands of the old driver.

"Of course, it isn't. I took the picture while you were unconscious."

A ghoulish smile graced her face as the old man witnessed it in the mirror. Renna truthfully explained to him that he was innocent but then again, why did she click in the first place when she was going to admit her doing?

"I believe you must have bear the sight...oh actually...felt, that how capable I am, to mould the circumstances to serve my own benefit."

Renna knew how to play with words and to scare an old European man, who was already in his mid fifties, was a piece of cake.

Moreover, it was the territory ruled by the mafiya, every law was regulated by the Lord himself, who had injected the fear into every single street and alley. Thus, to rob off someone in the name of Ronan Ross was not a surprise.

After the death of his beloved wife, everything was not the same as before.

"Both of us know that you are not guilty and I didn't attempt anything on you, but right now I'm feeling sympathetic towards your wife. Tch."

The lady deliberately made the man to recall his old wife at home, the companion of his life.

Playing dirty and going overboard?

Indeed, Renna was unnecessarily pushing the man hard but the lady didn't intend to play the role of homewrecker, at all.

She could have just barged into his house with some sort of weaponry item, scaring the old residents and forcing them to surrender. So, that the lady could have a sojourn in their cozy home for a few days.

Wouldn't it have been a better option, no?

What do you think the old man had prefered, if he had an awareness of what was happening with him?

"Xxx xxxx xxxx, right?"

Hearing the cellphone number of his wife, the old man felt as if his soul was about to leave his deteriorating body.

His wrinkled face turned pale instantly as Renna finally used her wild card. No man could bear to witness the ire of his wife!

"Y- you won't do that, would you?"

He didn't know what to do, whether to persuade Renna not send that photograph to his wife, or he should call the cops. Which was absolutely no less than risking his own life!

After all, the man was holding the device in his hands but still he feared that if the young lady was able to find out his wife's number in no time, what else she would do in front of the cops.

He could get charged for harassment and sent to jail at this age, though he was innocent in the whole thing.

"And why do you think I won't do that?"

Renna spoke, showcasing that she was interested in listening to his offer.

"What do you want?"

The man finally got to the point.

"Wise choice sir, I must say. I don't want much, just a short stay at your home for free."

The lady chuckled softly as soon as she spoke, Renna was confident for her small victory. Why shouldn't she?

"One more thing sir, you better don't call cops because I don't mean any harm. And even if you delete that picture, I still have its copy in my cellphone."

She had a cellphone? No, not at all, the only device she had on her was the personally made bluetooth.

But did the old man know this? Not at all.

Renna didn't leave any option for the man to refuse her, neither he could do that seeing Renna's tricky tactics nor the lady had left him in the position to think of executing an escape plan.

She ogled at him in the mirror, and felt sympathy yet guilty for taking his advantage so badly, that made the man helpless and terrified.

Having the opportunity to shout he was quiet, a weak man?

Or perhaps Renna had indirectly used the venom of fear spread by Ronan Ross, for her own benefit.
