Chapter 3 : Preparations.

The next day after Yves received his room, he woke up and prepared for his first day of training. He will finally start losing this fat around his body. Yves thought slapping his tummy. Walking out of his room, he took the Bamboo Sword. The first thing Yves did, was he swung horizontally from left to right. To a normal onlooker, Yves looks like a crazy nerd handling a Bamboo Sword for the first time. However, a female sword teacher was overlooking his process of swinging from left to right. She was amazed, although it was imperfect. It represented the swinging perfectly. The boy in her eyes danced on the wind each time he swung through the air. "Amazing..." She gasps seeing his progress slowly turning from imperfection to perfection after long 5 hours of constant swinging from his left side to his right side.

"You are perhaps a genius of the sword?" The female sword expert asked, awaiting a reply from Yves.

Yves stopped swinging, slowly letting his bamboo sword rest on the ground. He then took a sip of his water bottle, turning to the female sword expert at the Dojo. " Oh, this world sure is a small place. The Dark Sword Maiden, to think someone like her had the face of the basic white girl. Makes me laugh." Yves thought to himself, smiling a bit at his course of thoughts. Then he turned to the Dark Sword Maiden. "Perhaps I might, perhaps I am not. I am just an enjoyer of the sword." Yves answered her question about him being a genius. What could he tell her, oh nah I am just someone from the future. Although it would be good to form a connection with her. There are items I could get with her help that are protected by Dark Fiction.

She laughed at his response, blushing from the answer. She felt like she was speaking to a man full of mysteries and experiences. She thought that this Dojo will finally be fun with him residing in it.

-AFTER 1 MONTH AND 30 DAYS, 10 HOURS BEFORE THE START OF THE GOD'S GAME-

Clashes of Bamboo weapons were heard throughout the entire Dojo. Everyone was focused on both Yves and Angeline aka Dark Sword Maiden. No matter how hard Angelina tried to beat Yves, she still lost. Yves is what you would call the perfect swordsman in the eyes of the Dojo. Each sword move he made was flawless to them. They looked at Yves as some sort of descendant of a Sword Master. He always remained cool-headed fighting anyone. Always finding a way out of his disadvantages.

"Jeez... I just can't win against you." Angeline lost her balance falling to the floor. She sighed disappointingly, the man she wanted so badly to best in a dual was going somewhere nobody knew. She couldn't stop him no matter what she offered him.

On the other hand, Yves tapped his new friends in the dojo, adjusting the Bamboo sword where it belongs. He has changed a lot in these two months. His once fat tummy now was a tight muscle 4 pack. He was taller, peaking at over 6'0. His once short black hair was now a bit lengthier than before. He became an internally different person. Before packing his stuff, he said goodbye to everyone he met at the Dojo. But most importantly he told Angeline to be safe. She turned like a red tomato after hearing those caring words from her self-pronounced rival.

Yves told the delivery apartment 20 days ago, to put his Relics at different warehouses. Per his wish, they agreed, he was walking on the path where his warehouses with his Relics were located. "Approximately 30 minutes from the system awakening." Yves examined the time in his head, he needed to achieve impossible feats to be sponsored by an Outer God. Everything seems so peaceful now, just like any other night in LA's rich neighborhoods. The same cant be said for the poorer part of LA. After some time of running Yves finally arrived where the Relics he asked for stayed. There were about 200-300 large warehouses that Yves paid for, of course, he was waiting for the system to awaken. So that it can automatically collect all the Relics he bought. Just thinking about how much divinity he could get by those Relics gave him complete chills down his body.

[Congratulations you have been chosen by the Crismon Serpent system.]

"Huh? Wasn't I supposed to receive the Serpentheart System-" Leo thought to himself rubbing his chin.

Serpenthearts are humans who became immortal by eating the skin of a Serpent and drinking the blood from it. They are known to always get in fights with Dragonhearts because of their hatred of each other.

"System collect all Relics." Yves commended the system to collect all of the Relics he acquired. All of them were stored in his inventory.

"Extort Divinity from the Relics that can be extorted. Extort the Relics that can improve my stats. Choose 60% of those relics to be added in AGi, 20 % add in STR and 20% in DEX."

Before Yves could finish his sentence a sudden shock crossed him, it was the power input of divinity and stats upgrades. He felt like his body twitched from all sides from the pain he endured. Finally, after the painful experience, he felt new.

[Congratulation, Host is the first being on the planet to reach over 2.000 Divinity.

Reward : Title "Saint"]

"Show me the status screen." Yves looked unbothered by the title he received, he was only curious to see his stats right now.
