Chapter 2 : I Regressed?

A chubby young man with dark hair opened his eyes. What he saw was his calling, he immediately jumped off his bed. Trying his hardest to find the nearest mirror in his small, old bedroom. "I... I went back in time?..?" The young man thought to himself staring at his mirror he regressed in the past. His body was tired, weak, and overweight a little bit as well. Looking at his calendar."12.06.2032." He returned 20 years in the last. This was the day of his birthday. On 12th June, this was also the day when the famous virus "Corona" finally ended. 13 years of hellish deaths finally ended on this day. Just for humanity to almost go extinct two months after, because of the actions of the rulers of nations. They called Gods fake, by this rude gesture to their creators. Gods began spreading goblins, trolls, ogres, and many more monsters. Had it not been for the benevolence of Outer Gods. Humanity on earth would have been long gone.

"I have two months to prepare." Yves told to himself, rubbing his chin. What can he do now? Kill all the potential saviors of the Astaroth raid, and kill his brother? Killing his brother wasn't a good option whatsoever. He hates his brother for what he had become in the future, and how pitiful he was. Will he kill him now? No, he already erased him once. This time when the horde of monsters appears, he will not help his brother at all. And if he were to become the same as he did in the future, he will eliminate him with his own hands. The current Nico only knows how to burp well. The six heroes will be killed by him. For them he had no desire to hold himself back, they weren't his family. They were scums who decided to abandon their humanity and turn into hideous and disgusting demons. "Olympians…" They will become a problem if I started killing their apostles. The only way I will remain safe, it's if I get sponsored and watched by an Outer God.

Outer Gods are Gods that have reached enlightenment that the Olympians, Norse, Egyptians, and many more Gods never achieved. With just them giving systems to those Gods, they have achieved far more power. But by becoming an Outer Gods sponsored avatar, I have to become at least a God. Each Outer God that sponsored any being they watched, became a God. Because they think that being can become a God. "There is so much I need to do." He had a lot to prepare in 2 months, train his body, and get relics. To learn his newfound body the sword way.

He slowly packed his things. Writing a note to Nico. Explaining how some unexpected things went, and leaving him a whooping 50.000 $ on his credit card. Yves made a loan from the bank in huge amounts, but banks won't exist anymore once the game of Gods begins. With 300.000 dollars, the young 20-year-old Yves finally got to see how humanity looked before the apocalypse. It was peaceful, there weren't any monsters roaming around, hunting down humans. He sighed." Of course, but the same can't be said when the future comes again." It wasn't like he could do anything at that point, he can't just stop Gods from creating the game, but he can become prepared and become a God himself. Protecting humanity was a no as well, if they don't become independent demons will easily take over. Just problems after problems, if only he was a kid with rich parents he would've lived his childhood without any worries, problems, or responsibilities.

"Now is not time to whine about such childish things…" Yves told to himself, walking to the side streets of LA. He needed to buy Relics and later consume their divinity when he awakens his system. That's the reason he took out so much money, he was prepared to buy even expensive Relics. But not all Relics are for divinity extortion. The following list of Relics is:

- Relics for divinity extortion.

- Relics for one's stat improvement.

- Cursed Relics.

- Lifestyle Relics.

- Combat Relics.

Relics for Divinity extortion are Relics that enhance one's Divinity. Divinity is energy that accumulates faster growth, it makes one understand a weapon scripture faster. Gives a clearer understanding between God and their sponsored avatar.

Relics for one's stat improvement. They are Relics that improve a stat. Because of that, they are extremely rare. It's a huge advantage to have a higher stat than that of your rank.

Cursed Relics are the worst kind of Relics. They curse their user's soul until they become a corrupted existence.

Lifestyle Relics are Relics that improve the none combat aspects of one. That includes cooking, cleaning, and many more concepts that don't involve fighting.

Combat Relics are the best kind of Relics one can have. They can be weapons or even accessories that hold the souls of great warriors. Since they are Relics it takes a lot more to break them than the regular weapons.

Relics are sold everywhere today. Temples, Churches, and even common shops have them. But Yves remembers an old grandpa, who sat on his bench. He was selling the most unique relics for cheap prices. Combat Relics and Relics for one's stat improvement. Just the sheer thought of those cheap nice relics made Yves's mouth droll in excitement. After a long walk, he finally reached the destination of the old grandpa. And just like that everyone ignored him, they thought he was a beggar. A common occurrence in today's LA.

"Hello there young man, would you like to buy this bunch of junk for one dollar each." The old grandpa smiled at Yves, to which Yves nodded. But instead of paying him 30 dollars for 30 relics, Yves gave him 1.000 dollars.

"This isn't the right amount young man..." The old grandpa held tightly the 1.000 dollars Yves gave him, almost tearing up.

"No, take it. I like this junk that much." Yes answered him back, tapping his shoulders while sending his goodbyes to the old grandpa.

Yves acquired amazing Relics, now it was time for him to order more and more in large amounts as an unknown source so that he won't be questioned once the world comes into chaos. He needed to refine his swordsmanship. That was easily done by going into a Dojo. Where he won't be looked at like a crazy nerd by the normal public.

"Hello, I would like to sign up for usage of the Dojo." Yves greeted the receptionist at the table with a kind smile.

The woman looked at the charming and handsome chubby man, asking him a question." For how long are you going to train? You can even rent a room to live in."

"I'll take that as well, and no I do not need Trainers. I will be staying for two months" Yves replied calmly.

"That will be 35.000 dollars." The woman said in Yves gave her his credit card. He then picked up his Relics and his clothing while walking into the room he will be living for two months.

"Enjoy your stay customer!" She smiled giving him his credit card back, watching him slowly fade out of her eyesight.
