Chapter 23-A Spark Of New Hope

So it's begun, Crimson has once again asked Crisma for some of his power. Reawakening his Lyrx form. As he held Okara from fighting, he decides to do it alone standing reading with his gemstone visible.

"I've waited so long to finally see one of the other gem wielders to reveal their gem and show me what it can do! So do me the honor and don't disappoint me Crimson!"

At the slight movement of Crimson cracking his neck, Okara knew to stand back and take care of the others.

As a gust of wind breezes by, Crimson vanishes along with Salas. Both are already in the air fighting. Crimson slashes at Salas and misses, giving Salas the advantage to drive his right knee into Crimson's stomach. As Crimson leans over Salas's right knee. He quickly swipes upwards with his left arm attempting to slash Salas's face. However, it misses and throws Salas off. allowing Crimson to raise both arms and slash downwards forming an X. Six claw marks formed from energy as Crimson dashes back. He opens his mouth and unleashes a giant red energy wave. Pressing against the X and forcing it into Salas. A large amount of energy being lodged against him was sure to create an explosion. However, Salas began ripping through the energy wave to reach Crimson and as he reached its end.

Salas gripped hold of Crimson's head with his right hand.

"I've got you now!"

Salas smirks as he holds Crimson's face. However Crimson opens his mouth and quickly bites down between Salas's thumb and index.

"Y-You bastard! Taking after Kessa are we!"

While Crimson bit down, Salas begins whaling into Crimson's body with his left fist. Repeatedly driving heavy blows into Crimson's arm, chest, body, and head.

"Why won't! You let go!"

Over and over Salas tries to break Crimson from his hand. But Crimson wouldn't release as blood began trickling down his chin, Crimson finally managed to make Salas bleed.

"YOU BASTARD!!!"

Salas had enough as he wrapped his left hand around Crimson's throat and began squeezing. However Crimson himself grabbed hold of Salas's left wrist with his left hand. Attempting to crush his wrist in the process. However, the strain to his throat was getting to be too much as his mouth was being forced open and off of Salas's hand. Once Crimson's fangs were unlatched. Salas threw Crimson's left hand off his wrist and launched him with his right hand.

Crimson went flying and before he knew it. He managed to reposition himself and land on all fours against an upcoming mountain allowing him to dart back at Salas. As he got within reach, he stopped and stared down with Salas. Salas slowly raised his right hand and admired it.

"All that, for two puncture wounds?"

Salas vanished and come from below grabbing hold of both of Crimson's legs. Reaching the ground at a hasty rate. Salas forcefully spun forward with Crimson before simultaneously slamming him into the ground. As Crimson laid face first in the ground. Salas raised both of his fists blood still sliding down his right hand.

His strength was unparalleled and Crimson knew it. Before he could move, Salas sledgehammered downwards against Crimson's body digging him deeper into the ground. As Salas raised his arms back up, he repeated it again. Then again, and again.

Crimson had been dug into the dirt, but still conscious.

Back at the Bell's house, we see that Rose and Bell managed to get Cinthea to appear with some news.

"I must reach them immediately, as Lord Kessa has issued me to help awaken one of those four saiyans."

Cinthea quickly vanished and we return to the battle. As Crimson unknowingly shoots upwards. Revealing that he had fired a mouth blast as a booster to get out of the ground. This caused Salas to jump back allowing Crimson to reach the sky. While he looked down upon Salas. He pulled back his right arm and grinned with his fangs visible.

"Devil's..."

"Crimson you aren't thinking about!"

Crimson's right hand began creating a ball of black and red energy. His fingertips absorb small orbs of Ki that begin merging into one giant one.

"You're insane! You'll destroy this planet with something like that!" Salas exclaimed excitedly. As he was super curious to see what Crimson was about to do.

As the ball began growing into massive proportions. Okara felt he had no other choice, he grabbed Arako and Kytel, and as fast as he could, he began to retreat with them.

"Bane!!"

The giant ball for red and black energy swirled at the top of Crimson's hand. Without hesitation, he vanished furiously around Salas. Attempting to mix him up.

"So you're going to launch it from an angle I won't expect!"

Crimson was gone from Salas sight, yet a cold voice ran through his ears.

"You're wrong."

Directly under his nose was Crimson however something was different, his right arm was encased in black and red energy. He had absorbed it and enhanced his attack. Then with a strong heavy drive. Crimson drove his encased fist into Salas's diaphragm. Causing a large collision from their area. The ground around them shattered deep, rocks the size of medium boulders fired away and up into the sky. The area was damaged but the results were unclear. As Okara was still nearby with the others. He could partially see, but from his view, it was unclear as well, however.

"You almost had me with that one. Had I not blocked, that might have caused a scratch!"

It appears that Salas used both of his arms to guard against Crimson's singular fist. Both struggling to keep their stalemate in check.

"I respect you Crimson, you're the closest one to ever come to doing real damage to me."

Crimson begins getting pushed back as Salas steps forward. Then as Salas uses his arms to parry Crimson off guard. He delivers a blow that sends him back, aiming him at Okara's location.

Okara quickly reacted and caught Crimson as his strong body collided against his, causing his feet to drag against the dirt. Before falling to his knees.

From afar Salas begins ascending with malicious laughter filling the air. Only to be interrupted by Cinthea's arrival. As she lands beside the four warriors.

"Cinthea? Y-You're here!" Okara exclaimed as she looks at him and nods.
