CHAPTER 17 A Spark of Happiness and sadness

Meanwhile, Naomi was about to get ready to go outdoors when she realized that about 80% of the crowd had their eyes on someone. She turned to watch who it was and her eyes widened when she realized the person. Her cheeks touched the base of her eyes as she smiled. Dazeliel was in an impeccable black suit with a silver shirt accompanied by a tie and shoes to match. His beauty made it look like he was walking in slow motion and all the ladies started to compose themselves even from the way they started talking to the way they started to laugh. This man was stunning. He gently walked to his mother and knelt down to greet her. He stood up and presented her with the gift he picked up earlier while saying some sweet words and wishes to her. She smiled and said '' Thank you, my son. Talk of an entrance, you made every head in this building turn' 'making her son blush.

''Come we were just about to head outside '' she said while dragging him along to the backyard which had all sorts of decorations, sets of tables prepared for the dessert, and a pool at the side for interested people. Naomi was very excited and her sudden change in appearance when her son arrived was noticed by all the guests . They talked and laughed and spent time together and he absolutely loved to see his mom like that . Meanwhile, Brie was trying to get up when she realized that there were people in the surrounding. She hid in the flower bed some more, praying that they leave soon so that she can find the way to go back to her world. She had learned her lesson.

Dazeliel who heard something shake in the flowers turned to stare at them for a very long time. They were staring at each other but Dazeliel had no idea since the plants were dark and he was standing in the light. He looked good in real life and Brie felt some form of anger saying to herself ''it's his fault. This doll-like-looking man and his overwhelming desires have trapped me here ''.

Dazeliel started to smell her scent and wondered if he was about to dream again or if she was stalking him. He let out a little smile and shook his head implying that she could never. She's too arrogant and bossy for that. Naomi tapped her son and he snapped out of his thoughts. ''Are you alright my love?'' she asked with a bit of concern. Dazeliel answered ''I am fine Mom. I just had a very long dream that's all. And I never have dreams''.Naomi looked shocked and kept the glass she was holding down. Her look shifted from sweet and happy to serious and disturbed and she asked what the dream was about. Dazeliel could see the anger in his mom's eyes and could also smell Brie's scent. ''It was a brand new car and you told me to take you to your favorite spot for lunch''.
