"Sona, can't you help me?" Rias's voice emerged from her small mouth, it sounded more like a plea than a request. She is currently having a match of chess against the stiff and overly formal Student Council president Sona Sitri. Despite being consecutivel defeated by Sona, Rias was not frustrated as she was more trouble by other things.

Upon witnessing the might that Anastashia showed at that time, Rias did not hesitate to ask Sona for help disregarding her usually high pride. It can't be helped, she saw a hope in this despairing situation, her reaching her hands towards the salvation is not a surprise.

"As I said before, Anastashia is not my servant nor she is in my peerage. She is my friend, I don't have any authority with her. You may try your luck with her and ask for her help" Sona said pushing her glasses with her finger. She is getting tired hearing the same words coming out of Rias's mouth, well it is understandable once you know the reason but the point matters.

Rias' face dropped hearing that, "That girl… she hated me you know, how am I going to ask her help when she doesn't even want to see my face…" Rias sighed pretty annoyed. If only Anastashia would help her then she would have spent the rest of her day doing things she wanted not thinking about the rating game.

Sona tried her best to hide the smug out of her face but her contortions betrayed her. "Sona! Why are you smirking?!" Rias was infuriated by that because she was having a real problem here yet Sona is just smirking! Sona immediately looked away, "Sorry Rias, it is just ironic. You obviously had the freest time among us new generation yet you not only managed to spend it uselessly but you also dare to complain once the problem finally faced you off, how could I not chuckle?"

Sona's words dumbfounded Rias as she never thought that her best friend would slap her with the cruel reality. Her childhood friend of all people! She doesn't know what to say when it was Sona who spoke that, and perhaps sensing this Sona shook her head. "Sorry Rias, that was rude of me. I just want you to know that simply relying on others won't easily help you get out of this situation"

"Anastashia might be a great help but I doubt that she would lower herself to become a servant of a devil. Her pride is higher than yours and it is terrible. It would be better if you start training yourself or maybe think of a strategy that will help you against Riser" Sona said diffusing the atmosphere. Rias contemplated about things before sighing.

She looked at Sona before clicking her tongue when she saw that she lost again, "I'm done here. I should probably start training soon. I won't be back for many days Sona, I hope you handle the school matters" Rias said standing up from her seat. Sona smiled seeing that, the fire was finally ignited within Rias' heart, Sona don't need to worry anymore.

Watching her leave the room, Sona can somehow see that the back of Rias growing bigger. It made her smile since her rival is finally becoming mature, not the spoiled princess or she hope. "Are you sure that is wise Kaichou?" Tsubaki who was always at Sona's side asked, from her point of view it strained the relationship between the two.

"It is probably for the best. I want Rias to grow" Sona said that while smiling. Sadly her expression broke when one comment was released. "Ha, friendship? Pft! Pathetic" Sona massaged her forehead hearing that, she turned towards the door where Anastashia casually entered. "What's your deal again?" Sona asked narrowing her eyes.

Anastashia smirked as she embraced her own body, "I can feel it Sona! Lawrence is coming~! It won't be long, I assure you!" she exclaimed as if in fervent. She has a blush on her face while air was being constantly released on her mouth. Her excited state left Sona with bafflement to how dangerous it was, 'She must really be obsessed with this Lawrence if she reacted like this…' Sona thought grieving.

"Did she finally lost it? I know I should feel bad but my face can't stop forming a smile" Sona spoke out loud snapping Anastashia from her crazed state. "You ungrateful wrench, I am saying this to warn you with his advent. Since you react like this then forget about it, it is already hopeless" Anastashia said flicking her hair to the back.

She got upset by what Sona said. Sona looked at Anastashia with confusion wondering if the screws in her head was loosen. "Anyway, will you really not help Rias? I guarantee that her favor is greater than mine. His brother is the strongest devil after all" despite what Sona said to Rias, she still cared for her childhood friend to try persuading Anastashia like this.

"Hmph, futile attempt. I am not interested in that girl, she looked spoiled enough that it is making me flinch from repulsion" Anastashia gave her opinion about Rias. "Are you not one? I remember you mentioning that you came from a prestigious family, did they not spoil you when you were a child?" Sona asked staring directly at Anastashia's eyes.

It was a bad idea since the look on Anastashia's eyes instantly changed. It became so cold that Sona has no idea who she is confronting right now. "In the magus world, everything is decided by talent. If you have none then you are either sold to other magus or experimented by your parents. If you have one then they will keep you in cage and stuff all knowledge necessary to you with any means, even if it is physically disastrous. That is our world, spoiling and things like that? It's a vague word" Anastashia said coldly.

Sona knew that she has no fault in that as she was just merely curious but she could not help but apologize sensing the level of danger in that. "Sorry, that was overstep" she said looking away from Anastashia. "That is why I am thankful to Lawrence for bringing me out of that situation, he brought light to my darkness~" Anastashia continued making Sona cringe hard.

"Anyway, what does that girl even have that can make me interested? To let you know, I experienced a lot of magecrafts before and can even create a domain myself. I don't need any magic that produce just uselessly hot fire" Sona raised her eyebrow at that indication. It means that Anastashia is still open to negotiation and that is the best news right now.

Sona thought for a second before arriving at an answer. She is sure that it will grab the attention of Anastashia for it is a unique ability. "Power of Destruction" Sona spoke with confidence. Anastashia seemed surprised by the confidence making her wonder what kind of ability is this. "Explain Sona" she said.

"Power of Destruction is the innate ability of the devil clan Bael. Rias was born from a Gremory Father and Bael mother so she inherited this ability. The name of the ability is self-explanatory. It simply destroy anything that get hit by this ability, as long as you are strong that is. It might be small if you are incompetent but it can kill gods if you can handle it well" Sona explained.

After her explanation, Anastashia was silent. If what Sona explained is real then this ability is indeed precious. In fact game changing, there is only one question that bothered Anastashia's mind though. "If she has that ability then why does she need help in this battle? She can simply destroy the enemy right?" That is the question.

"I mentioned the two parts of it right? Rias is the former one" Sona did not hesitate to insult Rias for her sake. This should be counted as a good deed right? "I see, she has everything she wanted so it consumed her mind huh? How pitiful" Anastashia immediately understood what Sona spoke, its just a pity that such an overpowered ability was dropped into the hands of a lazy one.

"So? How about it? Interested in helping her now?" Sona asked smirking at Anastashia. This irked the girl but she has no choice, it indeed took her attention and now her instinct as a magus is telling her to take this chance. Sona doesn't need an answer as she can already guess from the expression on Anastashia's face. "I'll talk to Rias later, prepare something that can help her. You don't want to become a devil right?"

Sona smiled at the victory she gained despite the benefit falling towards Rias' lap. To soothe the damaged pride of Anastashia, Sona talked about a topic that she will without a doubt tackle. "Tell me more about this Lawrence of yours. I might snatch him if he is intelligent enough to challenge me" Sona smirked as she spoke. The atmosphere returned to normal and the two talked all about one topic. Sona had to admit though, she became more interested in this Lawrence after hearing all of his feats. In fact, she was dying to meet him right now.
