Chapter 25.3: A Priest and A Demon

*Karma's Perspective*

I left the place to Ken-san and Haruka-san and moved away to a different location. After arriving to a spacious place.

"Let's clean them up quickly, Caster" I drew out Sitan

"Roger, Master" he summoned flames and started launching them on enemies.

"I better move too" I slowly walked to the enemies in front of me and started to kicked the ground and started slashing them.

"There are a lot of them" I am quite lazy dealing with them "Sitan, take over and kill all of them" Sitan then left my hand and transformed to her human form.

"This will be a lovely offering Master" she bowed slightly "I shall clean them up" she said and left to deal with them.

"That makes thing easier" I started walking and arrived at a church. Unlike what Caster and Ken's description of the church from the hills. This one is clean and tidy, the floor is polished and the seats are well cleaned. But it is a dark place nonetheless. After opening the large door and walking inside. I was standing in the middle of the church looking around.

"This place really gives me a strange feeling more than a cemetery"

All of a sudden a gunshot was heard. But the bullet curved and hit the well polished floors..

"I see… So you are immortal as they say" The man in priest clothing appeared behind the doors holding a gun in one hand and pointing at me.

"It seems you've heard of me" I asked slowly facing his way and my hands still on my pocket

"Indeed, if I may, you are the biggest problem of this war."

"Then if you already know about me, you already know that guns won't work"

He tilted his head a bit and laid down his gun "I agree, guns are useless to you."

"If a priest is here, then I guess it is true that the church is already siding with the west to begin with"

He clapped his hands "You even deduced that? Amazing simply amazing"

"So? What are you planning?" I asked

He slowly walked approaching me. Until he is 2 meters away he stopped.

"I was planning to recruit you, you see" he asked and raised his right hand like asking for a handshake

"I see… Planning to recruit me huh?" I closed my eyes and slightly raised my head looking at the cross in the door.

"I also do not know of the specifics, but the church wants you out of the picture, yes" he said

I closed my eyes and asked "I will at least hear you out"

"Excellent! So there are rooms for negotiations." He shouted

"Our church offered you a wish of your desire" he then said

"A wish? Then if you can give half of the world then I would be satisfied with that" I answered hysterically

"Surely, you jest Mister Karma" he said waving his head in disbelief.

"Then if you can't then I guess I won't"

He glared at me "Are you serious about that, Mister Karma?" he asked again

I nodded "This negotiation is doomed to fail"

"I see… May I know why?"

I stared straight to his eyes and answered "Just a simple promise from an annoying person"

"A promise you say? I see… Then we have no use for you then" all of a sudden chains came out of nowhere, they all moved to chain me up but I moved swiftly to dodge them. When I thought I was safe, my feet was already chained preventing me to move further and my arms and body was also chained. And I was raised up to the air

"If we cannot kill you, then we will just seal you" He said

"That's a smart move, Priest-san" I said in a sarcastic tone.

"Come to think of it I didn't even introduce myself? I am Charles Maximus. Nice to meet you" he introduced and bowed his head like a noble.

"I see. That Charles, huh?"

"So you have heard of me, yes?"

"What can I say? You are quite famous for being a priest"

"I am a big believer of god! Our god shall provide you salvation, even you a person who was cursed by death himself. Shall be save by the grace of god!" he shouted like a priest making his sermons

I sighed "It is really tiring being chained up here, you know? So make it quick can you?" I told him

"Hm? So you don't believe in me? That was your wish, right? To remove the curse placed in your bloodline"

Bloodline. This curse that only gave me nothing but misery. I killed a lot but I cannot die. A curse that I want to remove.

"And so? What will your 'god' do to me?" I asked and emphasized the word 'god'

"The god will give you 'salvation'. In other words, remove your curse"

"I can also wish that to the Holy Grail"

"Nay, the Grail will be ours."

"Do you really think you can defeat me? Even if you seal me here I can just break free."

"Your Caster, yes?" he asked placing his hands on his back.

"I see. So who is the servant you send to deal with Caster?" I asked

He was prepare to chain here to prevent me from using command spells, and to remove Caster out of the picture. Caster is strong, that is a fact. He can most likely defeat any servants in 1 vs 1 battles. So I am curious on who did they send to deal with him.

"You think I only sent 1 servant did you?"

"So you sent more than 1 huh? I am sure Caster will feel honored to deal with all of them" I answered with a lazy tone.

"You are confident? I see, I see. Indeed, you and Caster are the problem that must be removed. That is what we are going to do tonight"

This idiot mus be really confident to his plans. He is even revealing it to me.

Now then how do I break this chains?

"Don't even think about it" He said looking at me

"Uwah… So you know what I am planning" I said in monotone

"Please, it is obvious. Those chains were made for immortals. You can never break it, actually I will be happy if you were able to break the chains or even leave a dent on it" he said proudly

It is true. This gold chains are not something I can break even with Sitan. Should I just wait?

"Impossible?!?!" He suddenly shouted looking at one of the windows.

A reality marble that sprouted out of nowhere, suddenly vanished. That must be Ken and Haruka-san. Base on his reactions, Berserker lost.

The priest placed his hands on his chin.

"So they are not someone we can ignore?"

"Hey, priest-san why not go out and check it" I suggested

"Nay, I am here to guard you."

All of a sudden there was an explosion outside. Priest-san took a peek at the large window but a girl suddenly appeared, destroying the glasses and kicking the priest and sending him flying to the other side in the process.

After all of that the surrounding was surrounded with dust.

"So you must be Karma, right?" the girl asked with a huge smile on her face

She was standing wearing a high school uniform, has a purplish hair and pinkish eyes.

"So? Can I ask who you are?" I asked wondering about this mysterious visitor.

"Binna! Park Binna! Nice to meet you! Am I speaking the right words? I should've brought the… AH so here it is!!" she took out a necklace and wore it

"Ahem. Now can you understand me?" she asked

"I can understand you from the start" I answered

"EH!!! YOU KNOW KOREAN!!!" she asked

"A little bit. So can you help me go down here?"

"Ah right!" she moved to try and remove the chains.

"That was an awful kick" The priest answered dusting himself

"Jeez. You are one hell of a priest" Binna told him with disgust

"I am a follower of god. A measly attack like that wouldn't make a dent" he answered raising his 2 hands showing his undamaged clothes.

"Maybe I shouldn't have held back" she said while facing at him

"Soooo…. Any ideas how can I help you go down here?" she asked

"I have no ideas"

"I see… should I escape then? The money offered was not enough after all"

"So you are not here to help me" I sighed while still being chained up here

"I'm just joking. I was paid to be here so I will do my job besides, I can't really destroy these chains."

"Sending him out of the church will do" I told her

"Eh? What'd that do?" she asked in a weird tone

"Maybe…. he is the catalyst and the medium, is the church." I looked around and saw the chains were summoned from the pillars.

"Then…. I should do that then!" she suddenly kicked the ground suddenly started showering blows and kicks to the priest

"You are really trained" the priest struggled to block of her attacks from kicks to punches and even attempts on grabs. Judo, Aikido, Taekwando, etc… she uses it all.

There fight continued on for a while and then the Priest pulled out a blade from his cloaks

"WOAH THERE!" Binna pulled away and created a distance "This were not part of my job"

"Just try and kick him out of here…or"

"Or what!!!" she shouted but the priest started throwing the swords and approached her at a frightening speed

"EEEKKK!!!" she dodged and blocked the attacks. Now she was forced to be on the defensive.

"OR WHAT!!!" she asked for the continuation

"May you blessed by the gods" the priest chanted and kept swinging his swords.

"ARE YOU A REALLY A PRIEST!!!!" she shouted while dodging

"The gods shall give you salvation!!!"

"HEY!! KARMA!" she called out to me

"Or just destroy the church itself" I answered

"EH!…. AAAAHHHH I SEE" she shouted and brought out a small bag from her waist.

"Tch" the priest was annoyed and approached Binna, but Binna brought out explosive stones and threw the at the pillars and walls of the church

"So you even find that out? Mister Karma" He stopped in his tracks and faced on my way

"It is just a simple trick, you see? I was also captured by that trap once. Though that trap nearly really 'killed' me"

"If this was the fate of god then I have no qualms about that" he glared at me while holding his ankh

"Sitan" I called out and Sitan suddenly appeared

"Master, so you are fine" she asked

"I am don't worry."

She turned into a sword.

"Now then priest-san, how about fighting me for real?"
