"Yorokobe Zashu!"
Ereshkigal started turning around on the spot as Gilgamesh continued to watch the goddess freak out. "Are you done yet Ereshkigal?" Ereshkigal stopped as she looked at Gilgamesh before bowing and asking "Would you mind if I stay here for a bit?" Gilgamesh laughed before pointing to a room that was fit with a pc.
"Go ahead goddess."
Gilgamesh sighed before staring at his stone tablet. His gate opened as he started to look around for something to fiddle with. Artoria Alter soon came into the room only to leave after being handed a bag from Golden Gil.
Gilgamesh was looking for a certain sheep that would handle the restaurant chains for him. A ripple soon appeared as a golden seemingly robotic like sheep appeared. "Ah yes my Dumuzid replica. Far better in both function and personality!"
"Ah King Gilgamesh! What can I do for you?"
Gilgamesh slapped all the details onto the table for Dumuzid to read as he went back to searching around his treasury until he found a strange glowing gold button.
The instructions came included. Saber Alter came back to see the golden sheep reading papers and Gilgamesh reading the instructions for a golden button.
"Fuhahaha! The Kaleidoscope Button! The power of a true magic in a button?"
Gilgamesh held down the button for three seconds before laughing and looking at the goddess and king of knights "I'm off on vacation!" His kingly attire vanished to be replaced with his navy blue shirt and white pants. His stone tablet glowed bright gold before being replaced with a gold Xpad.
He tapped the button before disappearing in a swirl of colours similar to a kaleidoscope.
~~~~
His shirt fluttered as he walked out of the swirl of colours as he took a smell of the air. "How strange... This era is still in the age of the gods? Plenty of mystery as well?"
Gilgamesh looked around before nodding his head and returning with a smile "New York. The beach is first."
Gilgamesh soon found himself deeper in the forest and yet a measly barrier thought it could stop someone who had learnt all the magecraft just to spite the King of Mages. His ipad appeared in mid air as he snapped his fingers before walking straight through the barrier.
He looked around the sandy beach before finding the perfect spot. "Gate of Babylon." Ripples in the air manifested as a beach chair plopped down while a parasol planted itself just to provide enough shade while a side table appeared with a coconut and one of his grails filled with pineapple juice.
Shades manifested themselves in front of his eyes as he laid down in peace while multiple gates opened above him before firing the rods at the sea while the handles remained inside the gate.
This was perfect. He could finally take a break. No Uruk and no need for paperwork when you had Dumuzid.
That was at least until some kids came bothering him.
One of them was a girl and the other a boy with black hair and sea green eyes.
"Excuse me how did you get here?"
Gilgamesh laughed as he almost fell off his chair. "Boy did you just ask how I got here? Simple I walked here fool." The boy tried to explain, "I know boy, you and your weak half blood barriers. It is because I am who I am that I could pass through easily."
"Now shoo! The King is taking a vacation now shoo!" The girl stopped the boy from leaving "Look this is camp half-blood and I don't know how you, a stranger, even got here." Gilgamesh looked at the girl before laughing and waving her away "Are you related to the god of jesters? Please do keep me entertained. This will be the second time I put my abdominal pain in the royal records."
The girl was furious "I the daughter of Athena ask of you, who are you?" Gilgamesh stared at her blankly before replying "Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes and the Wise King of Uruk. There you go now shoo. I have fish to catch and Hydra meat to cook."
The two left as Gilgamesh pulled out his Fully Automatic cooker as he placed a cut of hydra in before pouring a bit of each sauce and herbs. The rods in the gates started to reel fish in of which many where expensive blue fin tuna and yellow fin tuna along with other delicacies. Another gate opened as a charcoal grill appeared as he slathered sauce before placing in on the automatic grill.
This was the truly a vacation for the king.
Soon the two kids came back with a centaur. Gilgamesh looked at the two kids again "What now?" The centaur looked at him before asking "Gilgamesh?" He nodded as he returned his own question "And who are you mongrel?" The centaur looked a bit taken back as he introduced himself "Chiron"
Gilgamesh cackled into laughter "What? You're not dead yet? I thought you had hit the hay after Heracles nicked you with one of his arrows." Chiron narrowed his eyes "That was how the legend went." Gilgamesh laughed "I guess there a some differences between the ours then." Chiron looked as Gilgamesh opened his cooker. Before emptying the contents on the grill as he opened his gate once again to retrieve more hydra meat.
Chiron's eyes widened as he could recognise that flesh anywhere "Hydra meat." The girl widened her eyes "He was serious about cooking Hydra Meat?" Gilgamesh laughed before grabbing one of the hydra skewers from the grill and eating it casually.
"Oh right. You don't want to try some?"
Chiron decided to ask "How are you not dead?" Gilgamesh snorted "I have a license on preparing Hydra meat."
Chiron smiled before shutting his mouth as many gates opened to have wands and staves pointing at him. "As much as I've grown wiser from my travels for immortality I still have a limit on my patience. Last question, I've overworked myself to death before and ended up in Kur so this vacation is rare."
Chiron gulped but maintained his calm facade as he asked "So you really are the King of Heroes from Mesopotamia legends?"
Gilgamesh nodded as he went back to cooking his skewers to perfection as he took a sip of coconut water.
The group left as Gilgamesh placed a bounded field around his setup as he enjoyed the rest of his night.
