heartbeat increased more,I really wanted to ask about him, I wanted to be sure he is the one and that I'm not mistaken , it will be heartbreaking to have my Hope's up for nothing.

"That's okay, we can wait" my aunt was saying

"What about Williams?"

"Oh he will be here in no time at all, don't worry. I'm pretty sure he is also looking forward to meeting his fiancee"

Rose stared at me with a smile written all over her face

" Now I see why he chose her at first glance, she is a beauty."

"Oh please Rose don't flatter us" Emelia said but with a proud smile evident on her face as she looked at me.

Williams, did she just mention Williams, my mind kept repeating, did I hear Williams? Can it be a different Williams? I can't believe they are so busy chatting casually when I'm about to have a breakdown.

Why didn't aunt tell me earlier so that I could have mentally prepared myself at least? I had already concluded within myself that I will never meet him again in this lifetime of mine and here I am about to get married to him?

My legs started shaking and I immediately sat down on the available sit closest to me, I needed to get my emotion under control,even if I always deny it I know for certain that he is one of the reasons I haven't settled down with anybody yet, I always expect to see his qualities in them and when they don't have it, I get very mad and break up with them. I want to be with him so badly but there is always something chasing me away, the fact that he is a guy.

The last time I saw him was a year back when I traveled to Paris for a business meeting. I had seen him that day sitting in the circle of his male friends or colleagues as usual, I can't really tell I remember I had gone to the bar in the motel to have a drink and I saw him,I had been very shocked out of my wits, he was the last person I expected to see and as usual, he didn't even notice me, he stayed in the bar for nearly two hours, but not once did he glance at my table.

The exchange of greetings brought me back from my thoughts, I looked up to see the exact same face I had seen in the portrait earlier, nothing was out of place "welcome " he said.

Louis shook hands with him and he turned to look at me

"you must be jolly"

I nodded like something was stocked in my mouth before smiling "yes sir, nice to meet you."

He smiled "you are welcome to my home jolly, i hope you will enjoy us as we hope to enjoy you"

Wow he is so easy going, I thought, despite his wealth

"I hope so."

Alfred gave a huge smile before sitting beside his wife and started a discussion with my aunt and her husband which I was oblivious too, I can't get my mind to stop thinking about my husband to be or the man I believe is my fiancee.

After a good hour of communication with Brooks, a tall good looking man walked into the sitting room, he was putting on a dark suit and a white shirt with two buttons open. His small tightly braided rows of hair that hug his scalp jaw looked so good on him than I have seen.

His chest was broad and the shades of light all over him made him look even more perfect as he walked elegantly to his parents. I couldn't get my eyes off him, he was just as he was,a year ago, gentle and handsome.

He greeted my aunt and her husband and only glanced at me briefly, as if he didn't even see me there. I kept steal and kindly waited for the introduction which obviously will be coming soon.

"Williams, it's been a long time," Louis said and the young man only responded with a faint smile.

"Baby, I believe you know who there are ,this is louis sunshine and his wife, Emelia, we have shared a lot in common" Rose introduced before looking at me "over here is Amelia's niece, jolly fenty, your fiance."

At that, he looked at me and our eyes jammed into each other's eyes, his sexy eyes got my attention just like back then and for the first time for as long as I can remember, he looked at me for over ten seconds. He only nodded later and looked away then I let out a low sigh, after all, he chose me himself.

The family shared a few small talks later before settling for dinner and not for once did Williams say a single word to me. The family was nonchalant about the matter but it burned my heart,I was really dying to talk to him. He hadn't said anything since coming in when we talked, all he did was nod or give a faint smile.

I really want to hear his voice, it's been like forever. I wanted to know more about him, his life m, why he chose me over hundreds of other classic young ladies and if he still prefers men to women.

I just really wanted to hear him talk and had to force myself to eat, assuring myself that maybe after dinner we would have time for ourselves, after all, we are about getting married, we need to talk to each other right?

Get to know each other more, even though we have known each other for fifteen now, we were hardly friends in high school even in middle school then.

I could remember then in school, the only words I could say to him were just "hi and goodbye" which he always responded with a nod.He hardly even speaks in class or anywhere in school, so his attitude tonight is not much of a surprise to me.
