Fate as an Alchemist

FMA Alchemy in Nasuverse. Mc is one year younger than Waver Velvet and will participate in the Fourth Holy Grail War. There are elements from Kara no Kyoukai, especially during volume 1 and 3, but not much and everything is explained. The mc is both an alchemist and a magus so don't expect him to be a hero. All the FMA alchemies are based on the 2009 anime. Ignore any knowledge or info you may have on the 2003 one.

Loyalty

Eventually Giorno returned with the keys to the mansion we would be staying at now. Once we arrived, Medea went to set barriers and spread her familiars while Diarmuid chose to look around the house and check if there was anything dangerous or not. I on the other hand headed to the balcony with Giorno.

"Anything wrong?" I ask looking at his strange expression.

"Well, I just don't quite understand why you are doing things like this young master." he said, slightly confused.

"You mean my plans for the war?" I ask while taking out a cigarette and placing it on my lips.

"Exactly. You are getting too much attention to yourself in those plans, I don't understand why you would do that." he continued saying.

I inhaled the smoke from the cigarette and remained silent for a moment before letting it out.

"Tell me Giorno, do you know what the most valuable thing in the world is?" I ask him.

"Hmm, I am not sure how this is related, but I suppose knowledge would be the most important thing." he answers.

"Not quite..." I say. "Knowledge is indeed important, there is no doubt about that, but so is power, so is money, so is connections to important people, so is status. There are so many things that are indeed valuable in this world that it would be impossible to name them all, but none are more valuable than loyalty."

Before Giorno could reply I keep talking. "The reason why I am able to sleep at night without a single concern on my mind, is because I know you are there to protect me. I trust you with my life because I know you won't betray me."

A small smile formed on his face, however his concerns didn't diminish. "Still, why would putting yourself at risk get loyalty from others?" he asked.

"Simple, it will show the heroic spirits that I am not a p*ssy like their masters. Heck I may be a complete villain, but even I have at least a bit of honour and pride as a magus you know? And that is something the heroes of the past value more than anything else. If everything goes well, after this war is over I will be able to summon any heroic spirit, so it is naturally important to have a good relationship with them." I reply with a smile. while exhaling smoke. "Do you know why I am certain this war is ours?" I asked.

"Because we are much stronger, are we not?" he answered.

"Not exactly, it's simply because we trust each other. I know neither Diarmuid nor Medea will betray me, we work as one and actually help each other. Every other master in this war will have a terrible relationship with their servant... how could they possibly hope to defeat us when they will be already too busy fighting among themselves? I will push those fragile relationships to the limit, and who knows, maybe there will be more than one servant killing their own master on this war..."

"So... you are doing this to make a good impression on the other servants and worsen their impressions on their own masters?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well... when you say it like that I sound like a third grade kid trying to impress his crush." I reply while chuckling. "Though I can't deny that you are right. Besides, I also want to have a bit of a cool entrance I guess, and I am curious about what the other masters will say about fighting me... I am sure Kiritsugu will be overjoyed at having a chance to kill me, but what about Tokiomi? He already wrote me a letter to buy a ring so perhaps he will try to get me to give up this war or something... hahahaha, there is so many possibilities, how could I not want to show my face and see what chaos follows?"

Giorno shook his head while sighing. "Sigh, well if it makes you happy, young master, then I have no complains."

A simply smiled while exhaling the smoke once again. "I know this is the type of thing that villains say right before being defeated, but there is no chance I will loose to them, so I might as well enjoy myself a bit."

Before Giorno could reply, Medea walked into the room and out to the balcony we were at with Diarmuid.

"Something wrong?" I asked, confused as to why both would rush over.

"Well, the war has started." said Medea, making me realise what most likely happened. I kind of forgot about it because of how nonsensical it was but it's true that Assassin was 'killed' by Archer once all the servants were summoned.

"Assassin has been killed." said Medea conforming my suspicions while showing me a video of it happening.

"I see... well this indeed confirms that both Assassin and Archer are the ones that I thought would be summoned." I say while putting out the cigarette. "That's good because I know more or less what to expect from them. First of all Assassin is not dead, but this proves that Assassin's master is working with Archer's master, they most likely just want others to lower their guards or something." I explain while putting out the cigarette.

"Really?" asked Medea. "But I am sure Assassin was killed."

"Yeah, but this Assassin has multiple bodies." I explain. "Honestly there aren't many Assassin's that can be summoned, so figuring out their identities is pretty easy. This must be Hassan of the Hundred Faces, a servant with several bodies."

"Basically several servants at the price of one huh? Well that's an interesting ability." said Diarmuid while rubbing his chin.

"Indeed, however he is the least concerning among all our opponents." I say.
