[ Kiritsugu pov ]
"Are you sure this will work?" asked Maiya.
"Yes." replied Kiritsugu. "Let's go."
As they made their way to were their familiars spotted Dio, he began thinking about his plan to kill him.
He wold first shoot the ring in his hand, that way Dio won't be able to come back to live. Afterwards he would shoot him down and then, just in case, he would use a rocket launcher to destroy his body completely.
"I mean, are you sure he can only use one ring at a time?" asked Maiya once again as they entered the car.
"I am almost certain of it. There were already rumours spreading that people can only wear one ring at a time, watching him use only one ring during his entrance the other day proves this. Otherwise he would have a ring on every finger and be done with it." replied Kiritsugu. He had given it a lot of thought and came to the most logical conclusion, if he could shoot Dio's hand and make him loose the ring, he could kill him as any normal person, the problem was actually shooting twice without either of his two servants interfering.
As they arrived to were Dio was seen, they were met by Archer attacking the three of them.
"This is..." muttered Maiya.
"Our chance." said Kiritsugu coldly as he went to the back of the trunk and got the weapons out.
Behind them arrived another car, this one with Irisviel and Saber.
"Saber, you will stay here for now and protect Iris. If anything goes wrong I will tell you who to fight." said Kiritsugu.
Saber gritted her teeth angrily. "Are you going to interrupt their fight by shooting them from afar once again?!" she asked.
"I am doing what needs to be done." he said. "There will be no better chance to get them out than now." he continued while walking to the rooftop of a house, climbing the walls with two cases.
Kiritsugu believed that Dio was the second hardest opponent in this war, after Kotomine himself. The ability to have two servants and extra lives definitely made him dangerous, however he seemed to take this war too lightly, going out to the fights with his servants and being on the frontline didn't make him brave, it made him stupid. And Kiritsugu would gladly explode that stupidity.
Placing his sniper on the ground and focusing on Dio, he was slightly impressed my the bolts of fire that came out of his fingers. To be honest, he thought of Dio as a rich kid, whose strength came form having to servants and extra lives, but it appeared he also had strong attacks... all the more reason for him to die now.
Ignoring the angry look of Saber, who had stayed on the ground with Iris, he calmed his breathing and took the shot, hitting Dio's hand as intended and taking the ring out. As soon as the ring was gone, Maiya opened fire on Dio as well.
"Forget Archer! We are getting out of here right now!" said Dio loudly.
In that instant, Kiritsugu stood up and grabbed the rocket launcher. Focusing on the master of the two servants, he pulled the trigger and watched as the rocket made it's way to them, leaving a trail of smoke behind.
[ Dio pov ]
"Bastard... are you really launching a missile at me..." I mutter with an annoyed expression.
I turned my attention to Medea and Diarmuid who were coming in my direction and sighed. I look at my hand which was still regenerating and realised I couldn't do alchemy to form a wall between us, my mystic eyes wouldn't help me stop the explosion and none of my spells would be of use right now.
"Fuck you, Kiri-" I couldn't finish my words as the rocket hit me and exploded.
I felt my body ripped apart as my limbs ended up everywhere in the surroundings, my blood painted the walls and the street and my skin was burned by the fire. My consciousness was gone for a second at most before it came back to my body as my corpse dramatically reformed. After several seconds of a painful process in which my entire body was recreated through red lighting, I took a deep breath and looked around.
The three houses that were next to me were destroyed as well in the explosion and crumbled down, most likely killing everyone inside them.
I shook my head while looking in the direction I believe the rocket came from. Focusing on what was there I found nothing.
Diarmuid and Medea arrived to my side and focused their attention on my body. Medea immediately blushed and looked away while Diarmuid signalled me to look down.
As I moved my eyes to my body I saw that my clothes were destroyed in the explosion, meaning I was now in the middle of the street, surrounded by some of the greatest people to have ever lived, naked.
"Kiritsugu..." I mutter while veins popped on my forehead. "You are so dead now."
The only other person who was as annoyed as me was Archer, who looked in a specific direction and began firing golden portals there. "You mongrel dare interrupt my quest to collect treasures!" he said with an angry voice as swords and spears flew to were Kiritsugu was. "You dare interrupt your king!"
I looked at the angry servant with a slightly surprised expression. Honestly his reaction made sense considering his personality, which means that I could either run away now or help him destroy Kiritsugu completely.
Normally I would have stayed, simply because of how angry Kiritsugu made me, however there were more concerning problems, such as my lack of clothes and the fact that if we got Archer's attention back we might get in trouble, since he was clearly angry now he might pull EA and get things over with. Tokiomi might send Assassin as well and perhaps even Kotomine so no thanks.
"Let's go." I say while motioning Diarmuid to take me back. Medea gave me her cape so I wasn't completely naked, but I didn't want to parade around town in a purple thin robe made for women.
